Donald Trump’s lawyer, John Lauro, will welcome testimony from former Vice President Mike Pence in the federal case Trump is facing for his alleged efforts to undermine the results of the 2020 presidential election. “Mike Pence will be one of our best witnesses at trial,” Lauro said Sunday during an interview on ABC’s “This Week.” “I read his book very carefully, and if he testifies consistent with his book, then President Trump will be acquitted,” Lauro added. Trump is currently facing 78 felony charges across three criminal cases. In the latest indictment unveiled Tuesday, federal prosecutors charged Trump with four felony counts, including conspiracy

No one has ever seen anything like this in America. Unsatisfied with their illegitimate coup they are trying to imprison a former real President to protect themselves from a Trump return.

So I was right. After doing nothing but photo ops with Fauci and the Scarf Lady, Pence was a washout when came to managing the Covid crisis. He did so little that even most here forget that PDJT assigned that job to him. Now the ignorant and the forgetful (and PDJT's enemies) trumpet blame for him. It was clear throughout PDJT's term that Pence was never wholehearted and Karen was as jealous of Melania as Jill was of Mooch. Adding little people to one's team can be disastrous.

This lawyer seems to be quite the optimist. ... Or maybe he is trying out some 'reverse psychology' to try to get the persecution to NOT bring Pence in to testify. If he does testify, Pence will put on his usual 'passive - aggressive / Holier-than Thou' act and do everything he can to to get Trump convicted.

Is there anything more annoying than a passive-aggressive traitor? His holier than thou attitude is the icing on the cake of a man jealous of the fact that he will never be the alpha male that Donald Trump is. I am not sure he even qualifies to be a beta-male. Pence is a humorless Pharisaical self-righteous fool. If they put him on the stand, I hope that Trump’s attorney reveal to everyone what he is. Pence set himself on this path. It is his choice to do what he is doing. Don’t believe for a moment he thinks he can win even the nomination. He is doing the dirty work for democrats. We all know they play hard ball when they want something. Maybe those rumors of him playing for “the other team” may be true. Democrats definitely have something on him otherwise he is just a reprehensible human being.

I keep hearing from pundits like Mercedes Schlapp and former employee of President Trump that many of the people hired by Trump - the working relationship "didn't end well" and that they were concerned about finding jobs in the corporate world once they left government - from this morning's Larry O'Connor show on www.wmal.com where Mercedes was co-hosting. First - I don't think senior people like Elaine Chao aka Mrs. McConnell or Bill Barr needed to worry about her next paycheck or being in the good graces of the DC swamp and corporate world, same for Betsy DeVos, heir to the Amway fortune - both who submitted their resignation notices on January 7, 2023. Second - I think the mistake Trump made in personnel hiring was that unlike 99% of the people he hired, he had a professional life outside of DC/politics before becoming President and was certainly going to return to that world after his first and second terms. He just did not realize how self serving most of the people he hired were and how beholden to the DC swamp/politics/revolving door of work for the government then the private sector (ka ching). And I just cannot fathom that someone as successful in NYC real estate is so bad at hiring the right people for the right jobs. I guess in the private sector, you get paid enough - you will be loyal and a good employee. In the government, the boss has to rely on an employee's sense of serving the country as motivation to do a good job. And most of his hires put themselves above the good of the country.

As I said in other posts, I have many questions about Mike Pence. It would have been my preference to have Ben Carson assigned to the Covid response effort being that he is a physician and quite a good one. Just because Mike Pence thumps his chest about being religious doesn't make him a true believer or that he is always truthful. I think Donald Trump trusted him without vetting him. As for the notes that Mike Pence supposedly kept, I firmly believe those notes are of the Vice President's office and should have been time-stamped and document according to policy and procedure. If not, how do I know that it came from during that time frame? Let's just say I am very skeptical of Mike Pence. Mike Pence has too much of a vested interest in Donald Trump not being in the 2024 presidential race especially when he is running. . .

Every bit of undermining, protesting and denying the 2020 election has been peaceful and conducted with an earnest belief that the election was indeed stolen. There has been no illegal action or rioting since January 6th. That will all change if Trump is jailed.

Matthew 7:15 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. This is what our Lord Jesus Christ says about someone like Mike Pence. And the end is being thrown into the fire. Our prayer is that he repents of what he's doing to President Trump before that DAY. The other prayer is for President Trump. Vengeance is Mine saith the Lord, I will repay. It's God's job to deal with these Judas'.

Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida has started to say it publicly: former President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. Former Vice President Mike Pence is more aggressively rebutting Mr. Trump’s insistence that the vice president had the constitutional authority to block the certification of President Biden’s victory. And former Gov. Chris Christie is jumping at every opportunity to lay into Mr. Trump, lambasting him as a “completely self-centered, self-possessed, self-consumed, angry old man.” The field of 2024 GOP presidential candidates is sharpening their attacks against Mr. Trump as they prepare for the race’s first debate, which is set for Aug. 23 in Milwaukee. The former president may skip the event.
