BREAKING: Supreme Court Bans Affirmative
Action in College Admissions

Original Article

Posted By: Heil Liberals, 6/29/2023 10:56:55 AM

The Supreme Court has ruled that it is unlawful for colleges and universities to use race as a factor in admissions, overturning rulings from as far back as 1978 that claimed institutions of higher education had a valid interest in promoting racial diversity on campus and could thus give favorable consideration to black and Latino applicants in their admissions process. Two separate decisions were reached in which the nation’s highest court ruled that Harvard University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill engaged in unlawful discriminatory practices based on race that violated the Constitution.

Affirmative Action has had forty-five years to prove its worth. It hasn't. Colleges deny the most qualified applicants, and their quota-filling replacements wash out after one or two years, all for the sake of photos of "diverse" smiling faces in their brochures. And you still are on the hook for that student loan.

Earn your way in on your grades. Not by checking a woke box. You can start by taking your elementary, middle school, and high school education seriously. I want to deal with the best not the person who checks the most boxes.

We've had nearly fifty years of affirmative action, a half black president, all kinds of laws against discrimination. What's the result? We are farther apart as a nation racially than perhaps since the Jim Crow days. I've lived thru this period and I am disgusted with the whole mess. From MLKjr's "I have a Dream", to Black so called educators pushing segregation and the destruction of the white race. Even in the darkest days of slavery, almost nobody would have dreamed of suggesting that we kill all the black people in the USA. We are fixated upon two things, Race....Gender. I have black neighbors who are wonderful folks, I've had my share of white trash living next door as well. As to gender, well I have said before we're in the Crazy years(read Robert Heinlein), when the whole world seems to go mad best arm yourself and hunker down till it passes as eventually it will.

Affirmative action turned into preferential treatment long ago. Hope this expands to hiring practices too. Liberal states will announce they do not intend to adhere to the SC ruling by the end of the day. Guess that's what lawlessness looks like. Biden will call for packing the SC.

Diversity, equity and quota systems have destroyed this country. All have failed miserably and democrats still don't get it. Why, because they, the democrats, are totally responsible for the lack of progress in minority communities. Think about it, with all of their hysterical outbursts, they and they alone are against charter schools, school choice and voucher programs, three things that can bring minorities out of poverty. Over 90% of students in Chicago and Baltimore schools cannot pass the most basic english, reading and math tests. That's right, it's a fact. Democrats brag about how many jobs they created yet minorities can't fill them because they don't have the basic job skills. Fact is, the communist democrats are running the biggest plantation on the planet. Freakin hypocrites.

Right here is why the GOP establishment hates Trump so much. His 1 term has led to successful outcomes in two major cultural issues that Republicans have been claiming to be fighting for but, have not only not achieved any results, but have actually been badly losing to Democrats. Trump showed us, unequivocally, that the Republican establishment doesn’t care one whit about the things that Republican voters do. No, Trump’s not a good guy, but our “good guys” are really only good for Democrats.

The Biden administration is preparing to sign up the United States to a “legally binding” accord with the World Health Organization (WHO) that would give this Geneva-based UN subsidiary the authority to dictate America’s policies during a pandemic. Despite widespread criticism of the WHO’s response to the COVID pandemic, U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra joined with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in September 2022 to announce “the U.S.-WHO Strategic Dialogue.” Together, they developed a “platform to maximize the longstanding U.S. government-WHO partnership, and to protect and promote the health of all people around the globe, including the American people.”

The school board election was central in Saturday’s discussion on critical race theory hosted by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and Blount County United. One school of thought primarily manifested in the race relations symposium, and speakers encouraged the audience to be active in the community. Katy Chiles, an author and professor at UT, presented the symposium’s section on understanding critical race theory. Chiles started with a definition, a contrast and a call for action. Critical race theory is, she said, a framework to analyze origins of racial inequities in America. It is not, she contrasted, a label for white oppression or guilt.

A United States Secret Service spokesperson confirmed the event, saying: U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division Officers located an unknown item on the White House complex. As a precaution, the White House grounds were evacuated, and the DC Fire Departments Hazmat team responded. A hazmat team responded to the area of 18th St and Pennsylvania Ave, and the Secret Service blocked roadways around the White House. All roads have re-opened since, according to the spokesperson. D.C. Emergency Medical officials later deemed the item to be “non-hazardous.”
