Joy Reid: 'I Got Into Harvard Because
Of Affirmative Action,' Surprising No One

Original Article

Left-wing MSNBC anchor Joy Reid admitted Sunday she only got accepted into Harvard University because of race-based affirmative action. “I got into Harvard only because of affirmative action,” Reid’s personal “ReidOut Blog” began. A Harvard recruiter traveled to Denver and promised to accept Reid to the university, her blog read. Reid went on to celebrate how affirmative action was the reason herself and Supreme Court justices Ketanji Brown Jackson and Clarence Thomas were able to be admitted to Ivy League schools.

"She then accused the conservative majority in the Supreme Court of being “okay” with affirmative action for white people" proving that she has no ability to think logically. The SC decision did not cause unqualified white people or Asians to have preference in admissions. It prevents unqualified people from getting preferential treatment based on their race. She is a truly dumb person.

Well do ya think it was because they couldn't believe how a Stupid person like Joy could actually make it into Harvard? They could see for themselves she didn't belong there. Not because of the Color of her Skin, but for the FACT that she did not measure up to the Standards that the Others were held to!! If she had been White, she wouldn't have been accepted to Harvard. She is making the case against affirmative action-- that everyone assumes a black student got in with lesser credentials. She says Clarence Thomas and Ketanji Jackson got in because of AA. How does she know? Clarence Thomas, by the way, went to Holy Cross, not Harvard, and graduated with honors. She is doing the same thing she accuses the non-black Harvard students of doing. And how does she know that students whose parents or grandparents went to Harvard have lesser credentials? Doesn't it make sense that if a parent is smart enough to get into Harvard, his kids might be smart, too?

History cannot be changed (though the left attempts to rewrite it) and justice (vengeance) for the sins of ancestors should not be visited upon the innocents of today. The argument for affirmative action programs for blacks seems to be based on the idea of remediation of past discrimination that resulted in lower economic achievement. The problem with this argument is that almost every non-WASP group in America also experienced discrimination. Where is the Jewish, Hispanic, Irish, Italian, Asian, Indian, Native American, blah, blah, blah remediation program? This approach to social justice is doomed to fail. Why can't they understand the obvious.

Lawyers are questioning whether the Delaware attorney's office kicked their most experienced prosecutors off the Hunter Biden case – just before they filed minor charges against the president's son. Whistleblowers who ran the IRS criminal probe into Hunter for five years told Congress about their travails with veteran Delaware prosecutors Lesley Wolf, Shawn Weede, and Shannon Hanson. But in a letter to a federal judge last week announcing the charges against Hunter, Delaware US Attorney David Weiss listed three different prosecutors who have apparently had no previous involvement in the case – leading to questions of a last-minute overhaul by the Delaware DoJ.

Millions of Americans will attend parades, fireworks and other Independence Day events on Tuesday, celebrating the courage of the nation’s 18th century patriots who fought for independence from Great Britain and what they considered an unjust government. The advert was a clear marketing U-turn after backlash to the company's previous collaboration with trans star Dylan Mulvaney devastated the brand financially. An Obama-appointed federal judge on Monday issued a preliminary injunction against Florida’s election law that imposed limitations on third-party voter registration organizations. In May Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) signed SB 7020, a law that barred non-citizens from handling or collecting voter registration forms. One of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit is an immigrant from El Salvador who works for “Mi Vecino,” a third party voter registration organization. US District Judge Mark Walker said the election law banning non-citizens from handling voter registration forms is unconstitutional.

I’m a white writing professor, and apparently, that’s a problem. That was the unmistakable message sent to me at Pennsylvania State University—and that’s why I’m suing the school. In November 2020, nearly half a year after George Floyd’s murder in Minneapolis, I was subjected to a video titled “White Teachers Are a Problem” for a monthly professional development meeting for writing faculty. The video’s featured speaker, Asao Inoue, is a self-described practitioner of anti-racism. Not an obscure one, either: About a year prior, Inoue gave the Chair’s Address at a prestigious writing studies research conference and declared, “White people can perpetuate white supremacy by being present.Your body perpetuates racism.”
