BlackRock CEO Larry Fink is reportedly "ashamed" by the environment, social and governance (ESG) investment criteria debate and argued the term was being "misused by the far left and far right." "I'm ashamed of being part of this conversation," Fink said, according to Axios. Fink admitted during a conversation with the outlet at the Aspen Ideas Festival on Sunday that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' decision to pull $2 billion in assets from Blackrock in 2022 hurt his firm.

The left is trying to control and steal and the right is exposing that fact, so in their eyes both sides are wrong. Its floors me how many stupid people are running the government, financial institutions, ad agencies... One tries to control us, one wants our money and the other one tries to influence our habits and they are all idiots! Don't they see how dumb they are?

Conscientious capitalism are weasel words for an attempt to have it both ways. Misusing other people's money entrusted to your custody to promote a left wing agenda that takes direct aim at the heart of capitalism - entrepreneurship and right to property.

FTA: "It is capitalism, driven by mutually beneficial relationships between you and the employees, customers, suppliers, and communities your company relies on to prosper … Make no mistake, the fair pursuit of profit is still what animates markets; and long-term profitability is the measure by which markets will ultimately determine your company's success." OH yeah? Tell me how extremely efficient use of abundant hydrocarbons isn't profitable and successful? You have to blackball such industries with loan rejections to bring them to heel. Tell me how popular Dylan Mulvaney was on a beer can. How Disney is doing with its woke beneficial relationships... and how the destruction of the family prospers this country. Fink. Aptly named, IMHO.

We know who you are and just how dark and destructive your ideology is not only for this country but the entire world. It is men like you who have pushed nations into wars, caused famine, poverty and unchecked migration, and shown us exactly what it means to be an megalomaniac who has loyalty to no one but himself.

ESG is a leftist created investment strategy. It's a financial investment practice of investing in companies that fit the ideological thought of the left and of certain financial institutions and investment firms. Those companies that follow the leftist ideology get rewarded with a higher score and more money invested in their companies plus a better stock rating. It's how companies like Target and Anheuser-Busch can thrive after losing billions of dollars because of stupid advertising and marketing strategies.

So, the game that's being played is from a very small group of government entities using the clout of their pension fund money to enact their desired society instead of working with the political system. Those persons aren't elected officials. Since these are public funds, it's taxpayer dollars, shouldn't they be under scrutiny by taxpayers?

Three school districts in the state of New Jersey require parental notification if a child begins transitioning their gender. As a result, they are being sued by the state. This is outrageous and shows that concerned parents who have been showing up at school board meetings in recent years had every right to be worried about where things are going. Imagine such a monumental thing happening to your child and the school you fund with your tax dollars hiding it from you.

It’s been less than a year since Democrats enacted the Inflation Reduction Act, which gives Medicare the power to set the prices of certain medicines. Those price controls have yet to go into effect. But Democrats already want more. They’ve introduced new legislation that would amp up those price controls — and even permit the government to refuse to cover drugs in order to drive a harder bargain with pharmaceutical companies. As for the patients who would benefit from those drugs — or may even need them to stay alive? They may end up being collateral damage. The Democrats’ new price control gambit is the SMART Prices Act,

WASHINGTON — The idea is somewhere between conventional wisdom and an article of faith for Democrats: Joe Biden beat Donald Trump once, so he can do it again. For Trump’s Republican primary challengers, most notably Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, that concept is a necessary predicate for convincing GOP voters to switch horses after nominating Trump twice. But a new NBC News poll released Sunday showed Biden with a relatively narrow 49% to 45% lead over Trump — which falls within the survey’s margin of error and is far lower than the 10 percentage point edge Biden held in NBC’s last poll before the 2020 election.

“Now is the time to say . . . ‘God is queer.’” Who spoke these blasphemous words, and what was the context of the statement? The words were spoken by Quinton Caesar, a Lutheran pastor in Germany, at the conclusion of the annual gathering of the nation’s Protestant (meaning Lutheran) pastors. The conference theme was “Now it the time,” and this was the immediate context of Casear’s words (who himself is black, originally from South Africa): “Now is the time to say: ‘Black lives always matter.’ Now is the time to say: ‘God is queer.’Now is the time to say: ‘We leave no one to die.’

Operation Frankton is virtually unknown in the US, though a well-regarded British movie based on it was released in 1955. It was a daring raid that began on the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This, however, was a 100% British operation. The team was selected from among the members of a special detachment of the Royal Marines. Just as the OSS in WWII was the precursor of both the CIA and US Army Special Forces (“de oppresso liber”) these Royal Marines were one of the predecessor units of the UK’s Special Boat Service (SBS,) now more comparable to US Navy SEALs.

So many different brands lay before me: Minute Maid, Simply, Tropicana, Dole, Florida’s Natural, Sunny D—not to mention the niche organic labels. And each brand offered juices with various configurations of pulp, vitamins, and concentrate.
