BlackRock CEO Larry Fink is reportedly "ashamed" by the environment, social and governance (ESG) investment criteria debate and argued the term was being "misused by the far left and far right." "I'm ashamed of being part of this conversation," Fink said, according to Axios. Fink admitted during a conversation with the outlet at the Aspen Ideas Festival on Sunday that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' decision to pull $2 billion in assets from Blackrock in 2022 hurt his firm.

James sued the Trump Organization, former President Donald Trump and his three eldest children – Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric – in September 2022, alleging they misled banks, insurance companies and others about the value of the 77-year-old family patriarch’s assets, including golf courses and Mar-a-Lago.
As part of her lawsuit, the attorney general is seeking $250 million in damages from the Trump family and a ban on the clan doing business in New York.
Former US President Donald Trump has sued the writer E Jean Carroll for defamation, alleging she falsely accused him of rape after a jury found he sexually abused her.
Last month, the civil jury in New York found he sexually abused and defamed the columnist but did not rape her.
Mr Trump's claim, filed on Tuesday, relates to comments Ms Carroll made on CNN a day after that verdict.
When asked about Mr Trump's liability for rape, she said "oh yes he did".
The claim is seeking a retraction of that comment as well as unspecified compensation and punitive damages.
It’s been less than a year since Democrats enacted the Inflation Reduction Act, which gives Medicare the power to set the prices of certain medicines.
Those price controls have yet to go into effect. But Democrats already want more. They’ve introduced new legislation that would amp up those price controls — and even permit the government to refuse to cover drugs in order to drive a harder bargain with pharmaceutical companies.

President Joe Biden on Monday sought to distance the United States from the weekend rebellion in Russia, insisting in his first public remarks since the episode that the West had nothing to do with the mutiny.

Washington— More than $200 billion may have been stolen from two large COVID-19 relief initiatives, according to new estimates from a federal watchdog investigating federally funded programs that helped small businesses survive the worst public health crisis in more than a hundred years.
The numbers issued Tuesday by the U.S. Small Business Administration inspector general are much greater than the office’s previous projections and underscore how vulnerable the Paycheck Protection and COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan programs were to fraudsters, particularly during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic.
The inspector general’s report said “at least 17 percent of all COVID-EIDL and PPP funds were disbursed to potentially fraudulent actors.”
