If it’s MONDAY… Russia’s mercenary rebels back down, but Vladimir Putin’s rule appears more uncertain than ever… President Biden makes announcement on nation’s high-speed internet infrastructure at 11:45 am ET… Prosecutors ask to delay Donald Trump’s classified documents trial until December… And Ron DeSantis, in Texas, releases his plan to secure the border, per NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez and Bianca Seward. But FIRST… Yes, the headline from our new NBC News poll is how former President Donald Trump has increased his lead in the national GOP horserace since his federal indictment in the classified documents probe.

Stopped reading immediately after seeing the letters NBC. Also noted that it took five, repeat five writers to squeeze out this propaganda duce.

NBC is another arm of the DNC and are trying to mess with the Republican Primaries. I stopped tuning them in years ago.

A couple days ago, there was a story that Trump's support was eroding. Today, it is DeSantis. Know what that means, don'tcha? All aboard Biden's Diaper Express! The media has no credibility, but they are experts in shoveling it. If Biden wins re-election in spite of everything that's been going on, the nation deserves what it gets. Too many dumb dishonest ignorant lazy people are deciding the fate of this country.

#2, The media could not mess with the primaries if these foolish Republican candidates would take a moment to realize that the goal is to defeat democrats, not just show up for the perks, feed their egos, and grab all the cash they can while knowing their presence is doing nothing but helping democrats. They don’t stand a chance because Trump’s base is loyal and rightly so. Go down the list and it is apparent that none of them is going to win. Their candidacies are exercises in futility if their desire is to defeat democrats. This idea that a contentious primary season will sharpen the field is a joke at this point. All it is doing is dividing the undecideds. We are not anywhere near your granddaddy’s presidential election cycle. We cannot afford the infighting that the GOPe is clamoring for. We need unity and focus and that is going to be hard to achieve when the RNC Chairwoman and her fellow travelers hate the guy who the people love. It looks like this time is going to be just like the last. Trump will have the support of the people and the moneyed Republicans will be right there nipping at his heels all the way to victory. It should not be this way and it would not if these anti-Trump zealots could articulate any of his policies that do not serve the American people well. They can’t. They know it. All they have is their petty little barbs regarding Trump’s mean Tweets, abrasive personality, and take no prisoners style. That is anathema to the feckless fools who are content to eat the scraps that fall from the democrat table. Try and remember a time when these chuckleheads actually did anything meaningful for the working class. They failed to repeal Obamacare, thank you, John McCain. They voted to increase the debt ceiling. They absolutely refused to hear any of the good evidence of the 2020 election fraud. They let Democrats eat their lunch when it comes to defending the Republican agenda. They have done little to nothing to help the J6 political prisoners. They voted to send billions to Ukraine. They lie, cheat and steel and should be reviled instead of respected. Trump promised and he delivered! Match that success, you one trick ponies! Americans are fed up with your uncanny ability to surrender to your friends across the aisle when it matters most to stand for what is right. Because of your lack of integrity and courage we may not be where we are today. You may believe we are ignorant hilljacks, but it doesn’t take a college degree to realize what utter failures you have been. We are on to you and your self-serving agenda. At least, we understand that President Trump respects the working class and does not just give lip service to us. He enacts policies that actually help us to live the American dream while you have consistently failed us.

Does this new "poll" from NBC mean that the left thinks they've successfully kneecapped Trump with their garbage classified documents ruse and now they can focus on knocking De Santis down a peg? The left never takes a break.

NBC = Nuthin' But Cr@p! Part of the Democ'RAT machine, just like ABC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC/NPR/NYSlymes/AP/ etc. I'm with #4. Note, a bit of History: We all read about the Russian Revolution and the Tsar being overthrown. What we DON'T see is the Russian Civil War that followed. About 20 MILLION Russians were killed in that war. The Communists (Bolsheviks) were a minority, at least at first, but the various groups fighting against them were ALSO fighting amongst each other. The Communists stuck together and were eventually victorious. Is the Republican infighting today a repeat of what happened in Russia a hundred years ago? Let us hope not!

The governor of Texas wins again 7 replies

Back in the COVID days of "masks," Governor Abbott opened up Texas and things got back to normal by the end of 2020. Nevertheless, some county leaders decided to enforce their own mask mandates and challenge the governor directly. In the end, the governor prevailed in the Texas courts: Settling a heated pandemic-era debate between Gov. Greg Abbott and leaders of the state's major urban areas, the Texas Supreme Court ruled Friday that the governor had the legal authority to forbid local officials from requiring residents to wear masks in order to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

It is extremely tempting to see the riots that spread across France recently as merely a sequel to the shocking events of 2005. Back then, 21 days of riots shook France’s “banlieues” (code for largely impoverished multi-racial communities) and made international headlines. And there are indeed long-term political, economic and social issues in France that explain why things have not improved since. Why there is more, or even worse, police violence against rebellious — but usually defenseless — young men of Arab or non-Western descent.

Ron DeSantis' presidential bid is giving

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- Gov. Ron DeSantis wasn't in Miami Beach Saturday night, but his presence was felt. The Florida Democratic Party held its annual Leadership Blue gala here, the party’s biggest gathering since DeSantis won re-election by nearly 20 percentage points last year — a landslide win that, in many respects, felt like the nail in the coffin for Florida Democrats and served as a launching pad for the governor's 2024 presidential bid. The mood that hung in the air for most of the weekend, though, was not that of a party in decline.

Shouldn't it be a huge national story that a big city like LA has had a record stretch where it didn't hit 80 degrees in 60 days in May and June? After all, the media always warns us that the earth is getting dangerously warmer? We are told constantly that there are too many people, and that causes warming, so isn’t it amazing that the population of LA County in 1880 was around 33,000 and today it is over 10 million? How is it possible that the population is 300 times higher, yet the temperature is lower than at any time in 145 years.

It also means I have a bridge to sell you, because this outbreak of political independence is the biggest joke in politics. Those voters like to tell their friends and pollsters they are sick of Republicans and Democrats, but come Election Day, almost all of them are predictably Republicans or Democrats. Come nighttime, their favorite political television shows affirm their real opinions on the right or the left.

Employing the euphemism “affirmative action,” President Biden’s press secretary claimed that there is a constitutional right to receive preferential treatment based on one’s race. She was discussing recent Supreme Court decisions on MSNBC with host Ari Melber, and made the extraordinary claim without citing any language in the Constitution – because of course there isn’t any to support her and, contrarily, language in the 14th Amendment that prohibits it. The bogus claim came a minute into a nearly 5 ½ minute, very friendly interview, and did not elicit any pushback from the host, or even any audible reaction to the claim.

Sullivan confirmed reports that President Joe Biden will supply Ukraine with cluster bombs, which much of the world has vowed not to use due to long-term effects on civilians. “We recognize that cluster munitions create a risk of civilian harm from unexploded ordinances. This is why we deferred the decision for as long as we could,” Sullivan said. However, he claimed that civilians could be harmed by potential Russian advances into Ukraine.

Maine may soon allow elective abortions up until birth, pending final approval from the state’s governor. The bill — H.P. 1044, An Act to Improve Maine’s Reproductive Privacy Laws — would allow a woman to receive a late-term abortion at any point if it is determined to be “necessary” by a doctor. It’s likely the legislation will be codified. Maine Governor Janet Mills, a Democrat, introduced the bill in January alongside legislative leadership, both also Democrats: House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross and Senate President Troy Jackson. At the time, Mills credited the case of Maine woman Dana Peirce as justification for the expanded legalization of abortion.

An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,
