CNN obtained the audio recording of a 2021 meeting in which former President Donald Trump discussed having secret documents he did not declassify. The network ran the audio on Anderson Cooper 360. In it, Trump seemed to be showing the confidential documents to others in the room, as they had a discussion about Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Portions of the audio are cited in the federal indictment of Trump over his withholding of classified documents after he left the White House. In the conversation, reportedly with the writers of Mark Meadows autobiography, Trump referred to the document and that it remained classified. “See as president

Entirely irrelevant. ANYTHING that he chose to disclose, to ANYONE, for any reason whatsoever is 100% within the President's authirity. That he retained ANY documents is also his choice, which cannot be questioned or overruled by any other person, whatsoever. No other person has this authority.

Who cares. Trump was president. He could take any damn thing he wanted and declassify any document he wanted to. Every president has the same ability. Does anyone think Clinton, Bush, or Obozo doesn't have classified documents hidden away? Biteme had classified documents in his garage and in several other locations none of which were hidden away, and as Vice President, he had no authority to have them.

You can make ANYTHING possible if something is taken out of context. I remember a spoof recording on a 45-sized record from the early 70;s which edited a statement President Nixon denying involvement in Watergate. In it, the tape had been edited and re-recorded to take out words to the contrary like "not" and so on. The result was that it came across like "I did (not edited out) authorize it" to come out as "I did authorize it". There is much pertinent information that could be taken in full context if allowed to be taken as a whole. Discussions and "what if" scenarios have taken place for ages-- President Kennedy made a point of having his staff members read Barbara Tuchman's "The Guns of August", which detailed the miscalculations and misunderstandings of these kinds of "what if" scenarios that led to World War I. History DID NOT play out as the war gamers had sketched it out, and this is going to be a similar result. No matter what the TRUTH of anything is regarding President Trump, the media, the alphabet agencies, and the legal weaponized government currently in place will accept nothing getting in the way of their attempts to "Get Trump"-- they have been exposed and need to cover up their own LIES and CORRUPTION from being fully exposed!

#1, Correct! However, the media counts on the ignorance of its viewers. Do you think they know anything about the power of the Executive Branch? “In it, Trump seemed to be showing the confidential documents to others in the room, as they had a discussion about Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.” Seemed?! Well now, isn’t that special? We are going to speculate now as to what happened? The media, as ever, is trying President Trump in the court of public opinion. Remember the mantra, it is not the nature of the evidence, but the seriousness of the charges. Another democrat lie to confuse and obfuscate.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to impose new limits on state courts reviewing certain election-related issues by ruling against Republicans in North Carolina fighting for a congressional district map that would heavily favor their candidates. The justices ruled in a 6-3 vote that the North Carolina Supreme Court was acting within its authority in concluding that the map constituted a partisan gerrymander under the state Constitution. In doing so, the court declined to embrace a broad version of a hitherto obscure legal argument called the “independent state legislature” theory, which Republicans say limits the authority of state courts to strike down certain election laws enacted by state

So many different brands lay before me: Minute Maid, Simply, Tropicana, Dole, Florida’s Natural, Sunny D—not to mention the niche organic labels. And each brand offered juices with various configurations of pulp, vitamins, and concentrate.

For Trump’s Republican primary challengers, most notably Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, that concept is a necessary predicate for convincing GOP voters to switch horses after nominating Trump twice. But a new NBC News poll released Sunday showed Biden with a relatively narrow 49% to 45% lead over Trump — which falls within the survey’s margin of error and is far lower than the 10 percentage point edge Biden held in NBC’s last poll before the 2020 election.
