Michael J. Fox took a tumble during a “Back to the Future” panel at a fan convention on Sunday. Fox, 61, attended the Fan Expo in Philadelphia along with his former co-stars from the film franchise for a Q&A at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. When Fox was introduced to the panel, he bowed to cast members Christopher Lloyd, 84, and Tom Wilson, 64, who were already onstage. But Fox — who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at age 29 in 1991 — seemed to lose his balance and was seen tripping over his feet

It would be easy to make a joke comparing Michael J. Fox to Joe Biden, but it would be in extremely bad taste. My hat is off to Mr Fox for having the courage to be out there in public for so many years.

I'm sorry to hear this; he's waged a real battle with Parkinsons and I admire him for that. While I never became that much of a "Back to the Future" fan his role as Alex P. Keaton made him one of my favorite TV characters at that time.

And just like that, falling down in public is not only "normal" it becomes somewhat presidential. Wait until the NFL season starts and every time a star football player is tackled the mainstream media will compare Biden to that professional athlete.

It shouldn't be news. The man is struggling with Parkinson's disease. A friend died of Parkinson's and another had it for years, finally died of cancer. My friends fell sometimes, and I helped them up, and dusted them off and we just didn't talk about it. There is nothing to say. Gravity is relentless and if you muscles won't follow your commands, sometimes you fall. Mr. Fox has done well with this hellish disease.

Too bad a democrat didn't get elected president for a term and stem cell research done with artificial insemination provided a cure for Parkinsons. Or am I the only one who remembers that.

I admire his courage to stay in the public fight for a cure for this disease. He gave us a lot of pleasure and great entertainment in his career. At least Fox has a health reason for why he stumbles, unlike Biden.

UPDATE: Independent journalist Ed Krassenstein reported late Friday that the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir was NOT stopped by the Capitol Police, and the Congressional staff member who was with the group lied about having the proper permissions. Krassenstein acquired a statement from the Capitol Police. “Recently somebody posted a video of a children’s choir singing the Star-Spangled Banner in the U.S. Capitol Building and wrongfully claimed we stopped the performance because it ‘might offend someone.’ Here is the truth,” they said. “Demonstrations and musical performances are not allowed in the U.S. Capitol. Bless his heart. Perhaps, since he has been around since dirt, President Joe Biden feels the same way about U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi — after all, at the age of 83, the California Democrat is three years his senior. Biden was speaking at the 2023 We Are EMILY Gala last week, honoring the “incredible” former speaker — so incredible that the president appeared to credit Pelosi with helping “rescue the economy in the Great Depression.” “I honestly believe that — Nancy, I’ve been saying this for a long time, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart — Nancy Pelosi is going to go down in history as one

When Trump burst on the political scene, his smashmouth style was, shall we say, off-putting. Dan Bongino, also from Queens, told us this was just the normal style of speech in that area. And many of us voted for the Donald, knowing that the alternative was simply intolerable. We weren’t sure what he would do, but his opponent was guaranteed to do bad things. For four years, in the face of relentless false attacks, Donald Trump got things done. Lots of things. But he didn’t drain the swamp.
