Ron DeSantis kicks off 2024 presidential
campaign in Iowa: 'The stakes couldn't

Standing before a 20-foot American flag in an evangelical church in Iowa, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made his first appearance as a presidential candidate. “The tired dogmas of the past are inadequate for a vibrant future. We must look forward, not look backwards," DeSantis said. "We must have the courage to lead, and we must have the strength to win, because the stakes couldn’t be higher.” A few hundred supporters packed into Eternity Church in Clive, filling the seats of the small auditorium and standing along the grey cinderblock walls. Cheering drowned out the music when Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds welcomed DeSantis to the stage and as he took the podium.

My dream was always Trump for President and DeSantis for VP. I always felt that Trump's biggest problem was he picked people by their skillets, but didn't understand how to see their hearts. He made the right decisions, most of the time, only to have the Swamp critter yes men, simply lie to his face, leaving him to believe his directives were being carried out. I felt DeSantis could change that. At this point in time, I feel we should fire every unelected Washington DC employee, down to the stenographers, and permanently bar them from government work forever, and start anew. You can't trust anyone who has walked awash in the swamp. Better to burn the whole damn thing, down. To replace it: All agencies writing regulations must have those regulations reviewed and passed by congressional vote. No more regulation without representation. Agencies must have a minimum of permanent employees. All must have Congress members as the head of an Agency and responsible for selecting officers to hire for those agencies. You could keep work groups, or start fresh after every election.

Read ‘Taking Back Trump’s America’ by Peter Navarro and get back to us. Dr, Navarro shares all the evil at our Beloved White House. And pray harder for President Trump and his family, especially that Kushner stays way away. MAGA

How a NYC mom-of-4 helped end affirmative

A New York City mom-of-four was the secret weapon in the fight to end affirmative action in college admissions — leading to the Supreme Court’s blockbuster decision to outlaw controversial, race-based acceptance policies. The landmark June ruling — spearheaded by conservative activist Edward Blum and his Students for Fair Admissions group — ended decades of precedent that had allowed schools to take race into consideration when deciding who to accept. The decision also ended Blum’s years-long fight against affirmative action, which he argued discriminated against Asian-American and white students.

It’s a ridiculous story that the liberal media is obsessed with though no one cares enough about it. Only the most ardent progressives think these stories will oust Justice Clarence Thomas from the Supreme Court. It won’t. The narrative's core is that Clarence Thomas is an evil man for going on vacation. Yes, a black man went on vacation—this is the scandal of the century.Since April, the Left has been clamoring for impeachment hearings over these vacations with Thomas’ uber-wealthy friends, which Leah wrote about last spring. Also, judges don’t have to disclose gifts from personal friends, so this was a nothing burger out of the gate:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and his presidential campaign over the weekend attempted to clarify comments he made to a reporter when he said that Republicans cannot be “listless vessels.” DeSantis made the comments in an interview published Friday by the Florida Standard, an online politics outlet that describes itself as center-right. “The movement has got to be about what are you trying to achieve on behalf of the American people,” he said in the interview. “And that’s got to be based in principle. Because if you’re not rooted in principle,

President Joe Biden is preparing to blanket the airwaves with a $25 million television and digital ad campaign in battleground states this month as Republicans are set to face off in their first presidential primary debate. The first minute-long ad, titled “Fought Back,” which was first obtained by CNN, has an economic focus, marking the campaign’s latest effort to improve voter perceptions about Biden’s handling of the economy. It also makes explicit reference to Biden’s predecessor, former President Donald Trump, as Democrats attempt to tie GOP candidates at this week’s debate to Trump’s “MAGA agenda.”

The naturally uneasy relationship between our government and religion has existed since our founding. The founders recognized both the importance of religious morality to the government and the necessity of keeping religious institutions separate from the state. America was run on those principles for a very long time but those days are over, which operates to our detriment. After 1791, the American people were no longer under the godlike moral authority of a sovereign king and his dictates, for the framers had created a separate government with its sovereign authority vested in its people. However, the people had the responsibility to maintain morality learned mostly from their religious practice and education.

The pages of the Bible are a testament to the downfall of those who plot wicked plans, providing a guidepost for our own battles: "Do the right thing, and risk the consequences." Because, in the end, righteousness prevails. When we were children, bullies would throw sticks and stones and call us names. Today some of those bullies grew up into 'Deep Staters' who brand our truth as conspiracy theories, and their lies as truth. As Isaiah warned, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" -- Isaiah 5:20. As many as 1000 persons, many of them children, may have died as a result of the fire in Maui. The exact toll -- above the hundreds documented -- is difficult to assess right now as the bodies are charred beyond recognition and scientific equipment to test the remains are not readily available, but the tragedy -- naturally and without basis -- is being blamed on "climate change” in many of the media accounts. In fact, these people died as human sacrifices to green policies, legislative and corporate missteps, and administrative incompetence.
