A Florida couple has had their wedding upended after an Orange County hotel — set to take in migrants from New York City — abruptly canceled the rooms she booked for her guests, she told The Post. “We felt discarded, disappointed and angry that they just tossed us aside to make an extra dollar for the hotel. It’s just not right,” Deanna Mifsud, 35, fumed. Mifsud and Gary Moretti, 37, are both originally from New York, and plan to marry June 24 at Lippincott Manor in upstate Walkill, with 160 guests from throughout the country expected to attend, she said.

No doubt the Government will pay a lot more for the rooms for an indefinite period of time, than those two future newly weds would pay for a couple of nights..

FTA: The Crossroads is one of several hotels believed to have booted nearly two dozen homeless veterans in favor of incoming migrants — which which it’s believed the hotels rake in as much as $190 a night. This story keeps getting worse. It's bad enough the hotel gets to deny service to the couple and their guests, despite their contract being signed well in advance. But note that the hotel also opted to throw out homeless American veterans, in order to serve Biden's "invitees." Would love to know under what law or authority meeting the "wants" of illegal aliens is more important than meeting the massive needs of our military veterans. Americans deserve nothing less than a president who is on their side. And at this point they know all too well why that matters.

Solution to the homeless situation is of course to pay lots of tax money to your hotel owning contributors.

Couple of things. You moved to Florida for a reason. This is the reason. You should have gotten married in Florida and had your NY families come to you. Second, I'm in the hotel supply business. My customers tell me that unless you're in a bad financial situation, it is bad news to take immigrant business. The revenue you bring in will be eaten up by renovations and repairs as well as future lost revenue while under repair. If your hotel is that much of a money-loser that this business is acceptable, you're better off selling the place to some publicly funded non-profit that will overpay you for the property to convert it to a homeless shelter, etc.

The establishments that take these invaders in are going to be so thoroughly trashed that I would like to see follow up reports on which establishments get demolished due to all the damage.

When the newlyweds to be show up at the hotel to get their deposit back, they should tell the front desk: "Nice hotel, be a shame if something happened to it."

Durham Report Refutes Inspector General’s

The report of Special Counsel John H. Durham into the origins of the “Russia collusion” investigation refutes the claims of an earlier Inspector General’s report that Democrats cited to defend the FBI and the probe itself. In late 2019, Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz released the report of his investigation into the FBI’s “Russia collusion” probe. While Horowitz found there had been “serious performance failures,” he found no evidence of “intentional misconduct.” More broadly, he found that while the conduct of the probe — including fraudulent warrant applications — had been wrong, the investigation was opened for good reasons.

Among the most controversial of the housing proposals is one that would seemingly hand over control of local land use decisions to a state agency that would approve ordinances based on whether they maintain or decrease segregation.

If you are a pro-life mom, you may be a domestic terrorist. That’s according to the Biden Administration. New documents uncovered by America First Legal shows the Department of Homeland Security considers middle-aged pro-life moms to be potential domestic terror threats. “This is Ann, a resident of Elkville in rural America,” one profile reads. “Ann has always been religious but since the death of her mother, she’s become increasingly devout. She’s a regular in the small-town community, active in several church groups. While she has always been protective of her four kids, she has become increasingly more concerned about the welfare of other children including the unborn.”
