The report of Special Counsel John H. Durham into the origins of the “Russia collusion” investigation refutes the claims of an earlier Inspector General’s report that Democrats cited to defend the FBI and the probe itself.
In late 2019, Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz released the report of his investigation into the FBI’s “Russia collusion” probe. While Horowitz found there had been “serious performance failures,” he found no evidence of “intentional misconduct.” More broadly, he found that while the conduct of the probe — including fraudulent warrant applications — had been wrong, the investigation was opened for good reasons.

Miller Lite is under fire after a March ad campaign caught renewed attention for its overtly feminist tone — which is now reigniting the outrage that ensued after Bud Light appeared to collaborate with (a) biological man who believes he is a woman — as companies continue to embrace the radical woke agenda.
The “Bad $#!T to Good $#!T” campaign, ostensibly debuted in March for women’s month, attempts to right apparent wrongs for women in the beer industry.

California's reparations task force is calling for the state legislature to require all cities and counties with allegedly segregated neighborhoods to submit all their real estate ordinances to a state agency for approval based on whether they maintain or lessen "residential racial segregation." (snip) The recommendations include several proposals meant to address "housing segregation" and "unjust property takings" that contributed to alleged systemic racism against Black Californians. Among the most controversial of the housing proposals is one that would seemingly hand over control of local land use decisions to a state agency that would approve ordinances based on whether they maintain or decrease segregation.

D.C. House Democrat Delegate Eleanor Holmes is asking the U.S. Botanic Garden, on the grounds of Capitol Hill, to include marijuana – to showcase the plants' "impact" on the U.S. economy.
After the Botanic Garden displayed hemp for its first time, Norton sent a letter to Executive Director Susan Pell, saying she liked the facility's hemp display and enquired about also having a marijuana one, too.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) now says he is open to the idea of cash reparations for slavery, after he indicated several days ago he was opposed to the idea, which was recommended by his own task force on the issue. (snip) Now, however, after a predictable media storm and backlash from the black activists whose hopes he had raised with the reparations task force, Newsom is moving back in the opposite direction.

A Florida couple has had their wedding upended after an Orange County hotel — set to take in migrants from New York City — abruptly canceled the rooms she booked for her guests, she told The Post.
“We felt discarded, disappointed and angry that they just tossed us aside to make an extra dollar for the hotel. It’s just not right,” Deanna Mifsud, 35, fumed.
Mifsud and Gary Moretti, 37, are both originally from New York, and plan to marry June 24 at Lippincott Manor in upstate Walkill, with 160 guests from throughout the country expected to attend, she said.

Seven-time WNBA All-Star Britney Griner returned to game action on Friday for the first time since being arrested in February 2022 at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport after authorities discovered vape canisters with cannabis oil in her luggage. (snip) "Hearing the national anthem, it definitely hit different," Griner said. (snip) In July 2020, as social justice protests were occurring around the country, Griner said she didn't feel that the anthem should be played during the season, adding that she didn't mean any "disrespect to our country."

If you are a pro-life mom, you may be a domestic terrorist.
That’s according to the Biden Administration.
New documents uncovered by America First Legal shows the Department of Homeland Security considers middle-aged pro-life moms to be potential domestic terror threats.
“This is Ann, a resident of Elkville in rural America,” one profile reads. “Ann has always been religious but since the death of her mother, she’s become increasingly devout. She’s a regular in the small-town community, active in several church groups. While she has always been protective of her four kids, she has become increasingly more concerned about the welfare of other children including the unborn.”

I loved reading this study. I truly did.
I loved it despite the fact that the authors themselves didn’t understand the meaning of their research. (snip) this Yale study from a few years back (snip) demonstrated that white liberals literally use smaller words when talking to nonwhite people, while conservatives do not. (snip)
The Yale writeup of the study is a perfect example of how clueless liberals are, and how blind to reason academics are so often. (snip) The assumption is that White liberals are not biased against Black people, while their research shows exactly the opposite as we shall see.

California officials are preparing to pay out $1.4 million to four churches after attempting to force them to provide abortion health care coverage for their employees, according to a press release.
Skyline Wesleyan Church, located in the San Diego area, Foothill Church in Glendora, Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Chino, and The Shepherd of the Hills Church filed two separate lawsuits with Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) in 2015 and 2016 after the Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) sent emails to insurance providers in the state, mandating that their coverage include abortion services. Federal courts ruled in both cases that the state’s mandate violated the First Amendment

In January 2022, California Governor Gavin Newsom gloated over his financial prowess in a tweet:
Gavin Newsom
@GavinNewsom: With a surplus of over $45.7 BILLION -- California is a model for the nation on how we can confront our greatest existential threats and make historic investments in our future.
We can lead with science and still have a successful economy.
10:39 AM · Jan 10, 2022.
That tweet hasn’t aged well, to put it mildly.
On Friday, the exquisitely coiffed governor announced that not only had the surplus evaporated, but the state was actually running at a $32 billion deficit—$10 billion more than he had predicted in January. Oops.

Dear Friends, it gives me great joy to be able to address a brief message to you on the occasion of the establishment of the International Movement of Russophiles. (snip) But this friendship, these relations of concord and mutual cooperation, cannot disregard the denunciation of the coup d’état perpetrated against humanity by dangerous subversives whose declared purpose is the establishment of an infernal tyranny, in which hatred of God as well as hatred of man created in His image, as well as illness, death, ignorance, poverty, violence, selfishness, and corruption reign supreme. It is the kingdom of the Antichrist.
