California Dems sowed the reparations

One day, America’s black citizens will realize that Democrats always make promises they will not or cannot fulfill. The latest example is the reparations folly currently playing out in California. Black Californians are beginning to realize they were watching Kabuki reparations theater. In September 2020, right before the big election, the California legislature enacted Assembly Bill 3121, setting up a “Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans” (snip) Despite the task force only being advisory, blacks really believed that its recommendations would send money their way. (snip) Gavin Newsom announced that there would be no reparations money for any blacks.

The Dems know that blacks won't vote for Republicans. As such, they can promise them anything and walk away.

Am I the only one who thinks that this effort ultimately is intended to be moved onto the Fed's budget? States can't print money and are therefore limited by reality, but the feds can and do make monopoly money every day. Once the expense becomes reality the feds will pay it. You don't think reality will intrude on the dems' plantation do you?

Great point, #3. And under the current admin, the Feds will pay it with printed money...causing yet more upward pressure on inflation and the devaluation of the dollar. But Calamity Joe remains oblivious, responding only to cash kickbacks.

The reparations committee went to great lengths to calculate the amount of money they believe is due each black but failed to deduct the extraordinary amount of money that has been already spent.

Those who learned how to do simple math in school would know that reparations on the scale that were promised are about as ridiculous as the forgiveness of student loans.

The State of California likes to say they set the tone for the rest of the nation, so they simply like to put things out there so others will copy. Progressive Democrats have been promising the moon for over 50 years, and now they need to figure out how to pay for something they took away over 150 years ago. California is a majority Hispanic population state, and has very large populations of people from Asian countries. Now, what's the math for paying out, but eliminating 100% of all of the government programs which would include 100% of all of the government workers who administer those programs? Many of those workers would be obtaining payments too. After all, why would they need assistance programs when they'd suddenly be considered rich, right?

As with the others, it shows Tucker when he’s not seated at his desk speaking to the audience but is, instead, conversing with those around him, whether in person, on the phone, or via text. MMFA, which despises Tucker Carlson, presumably released this material to show Tucker in a bad light.
