The Fiscal Alliance Foundation published a poll on Thursday, which was carried out on May 6-7, showing that of the 750 survey respondents, 49 percent said they would support Baker for U.S. Senate, while only 34 percent said they would back Warren who announced in March that she will be running for reelection in 2024. The poll has a margin of error of 3.6 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.

The Border Patrol has averaged 8,750 migrant encounters per day over the past week, the memo noted, more than twice as high as the peak of the 2019 crisis when record numbers

The policy was outlined in a Border Patrol memo, which says that migrants can be allowed into the country on parole — a process typically reserved for "urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit" — if Customs and Border Protection (CBP) faces overcrowding.

“Our hearts go out to the trans community as they are under attack right now.” (Snip) Biden press secretary Karine Saint-Pierre did not name or condemn Audrey Hale, a woman who thought she was a man. The White House mouthpiece also failed to name a single victim, including Mike Hill, who was black. No word from Saint-Pierre whether Hale could have been motivated by racism. The Nashville mourners might be hard pressed to find a similar demonstration of indulgence for terrorism and callousness toward their victims. Something similar took place on December 2, 2015, in San Bernardino, California. That day, employees of the Inland Regional Center gathered for holiday party.

Joe Biden fundraised off of former President Donald Trump’s CNN town hall appearance on Wednesday, asking people if they “want four more years of that?” “It’s simple, folks. Do you want four more years of that? If you don’t, pitch in to our campaign,” the president tweeted Wednesday night. (Tweet) As Breitbart News reported, former President Donald Trump largely dominated the CNN town hall on Wednesday as he blew through Kaitlan Collins’ questioning and speaking almost unopposed:

People smuggling gangs are making too much money from migrants to allow the end of Title 42 to trigger chaos at the border and a crackdown by U.S. officials, according to a former top Border Patrol officer. Instead of a tidal wave of immigrants flooding the border, Chris Clem said cartels will control numbers to ensure they can keep the profits flowing in for weeks to come. Title 42 is due to expire at midnight on Thursday, relaxing public health restrictions designed to stop COVID-19 entering the country with migrants.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Joy Behar have led condemnation of CNN's decision to host a town hall with Donald Trump, which saw the former president bask in the spotlight and repeat a series of lies, joking about being found liable for sexual assault and mocking the moderator as 'nasty'. The 70-minute session, held in New Hampshire in front of a strongly pro-Trump crowd, seemed at times more like a Trump rally than an interrogation, as the former president held court and moderator Kaitlan Collins tried to keep control. During his tense confrontation with Collins he called January 6 a 'beautiful day', insisted he had 'every right' to take classified documents to Mar-a-Lago,

A Chicago prosecutor who had been working for the city for 20 years quit his job last week. In a final letter he praised many of the people he worked with but said he could not raise his son in a city that was part of a social experiment, one which he believes has the city heading for disaster. Jason Poje, a felony trial attorney with the Cook County State Attorney’s Office, sent the letter to 85 colleagues on Friday as he headed out the door, explaining that he was departing because of several progressive reforms that have made the city more dangerous for everyone, Fox News reported.

As sparks flew during the CNN town hall on Wednesday, voters got a chance to witness former President Donald Trump dive back into his signature campaign mode, showing a scrappy fighter refusing to back down from a challenge. Anchor Kaitlan Collins repeatedly pushed back on what Trump said — coming back at him with retorts such as “that’s not true” — at junctures all throughout the event at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire, an early-voting state. Tensions reached a peak when the journalist pressed Trump on the controversy over his handling of classified documents,

I appeared earlier this week on the Jesse Kelly show on First TV to talk about The Left Targets The Supreme Court: Cornell Law Professor William Jacobson says the Democrats are increasing the pressure on the U.S. Supreme Court Justices.[Snip] Yes. Well, the US Supreme Court is really the one institution that has not been completely captured by the left. Congress goes back and forth, but certainly the Supreme Court conservative majority is going to be there for a long time, and it is driving them absolutely crazy that they can’t control absolutely everything.
