The Consumer Price Index (CPI) released by the government on Wednesday showed a 4.9% year-over-year increase in prices from April 2022 to April 2023, declining from a rate of 5.0% in March, 6.0% in February, and 6.4% in January. The CPI has declined steadily from a 40-year high of 9.1% in June to 4.9% in April. However, the CPI rose 0.4% last month after adjusting for seasonality and 0.5% on an unadjusted basis. The media headlines read: Annual inflation cooled last month to the lowest level since April 2021 Inflation rate eases to 4.9% in April, less than expectations But few media outlets provided context, partly because

Jimmy Carter may have been an incompetent but at least he was a nice guy. Biden and the people pulling his strings are diabolical criminals.

So naturally what I saw on the scroll from the local news this morning was "Inflation down for the 11th straight month." They really earned the title "enemdia".

To put that in perspective, if the rate stays at 15% ANNUALLY, the price of essentially EVERYTHING will DOUBLE in just 5 years and KEEP DOUBLING every 5 years ! Well, that's not so bad you say. True if you get raises and your income matches the increases, but that isn't true for a great number of people - those on fixed incomes, - retirees mostly, for starters. But wait, it gets better ! In 10 years the prices of essentially EVERY THING will have QUADRUPLED !!! 4 times the dollar amount for almost EVERYTHING, food, clothing, appliances housing, regardless of type, medicine, utilities, vehicles, EVERYTHING, Because the money supply has been increased 4x - the true definition and SOLE cause of inflation. No, it's NOT 'supply and demand' for goods and services, it's not shortages or supply chains, and it's not the color of my aunt Bessie's Sunday dress - IT'S PRINTING MONEY - PERIOD ! Heh heh, imagine paying north of $100,000.00 for a Civic ! What do you think that new EV, that you can't afford to charge or drive, because the grid so overloaded that there are rolling BLACKOUTS every day, every week, every month every year ! In other words, CONTINUALLY and no end in sight. - leases are still on hold, because we dare not damage Mother Earth, and anyway, oil is $400 a barrel !!! Welcome to the wonderful world of - 'printing money to pay for everything we can't actually afford' ! AKA - INFLATION !

Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley argued on "America's Newsroom" Friday that House Republicans' new allegations about the Biden family, including details about several LLCs, "confirm our worst expectations" about the "family business." New allegations from House Republicans outline several Biden family members including grandkids who, according to bank records, received funds from foreign business dealings. JONATHAN TURLEY: The only people not on that list are the pets. Major is not mentioned, but otherwise, every generation seemed to get a dividend. And what this looks like is a family business that is dividing up the proceeds. The difference is that this family business had dozens of LLCs and accounts

A former top intelligence officer with oversight of threats ahead of the 2020 election said the Central Intelligence Agency had "no evidence" at the time that Hunter Biden's laptop had anything to do with a Russian disinformation campaign, despite claims from then-candidate Joe Biden's allies. Just before the election, 51 former national security officials wrote a public letter claiming the Hunter Biden laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation." It was signed by former President Obama CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA director and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, among others. However, in an interview

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told Fox News the testimony his panel heard in private from Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan "confirmed" the letter signed by 51 current and former intel officials was not on-the-level. "[Brennan] sat for a four-hour interview and he further confirmed that this thing was all political," Jordan said on "Jesse Watters Primetime." Jordan recounted his allegation that then-Biden campaign adviser Antony Blinken was the "impetus" behind the letter, which he said was organized in-part by former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell, who testified before the Judiciary Committee earlier in May.

I know Romanian corruption. When I was exiting the country in 1987 after investigating its collapsing economy, I made sure to bribe every guard who searched my luggage at the Bucharest airport with a pack of Kent cigarettes. But I neglected to give a pack to the soldier on the tarmac as I walked to my Lufthansa flight. He was soon screaming and waving his submachine gun in my direction. Whoops. After the fall of the Communist regime, the US State Department launched a program to help Romania curtail corruption. Vice President Joe Biden masterminded that effort from 2009 to 2016.

Divorce lawyers for Hunter Biden and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle were aware of money hitting Hunter’s bank account from a "Romania deal," emails show, appearing to contradict Buhle's previous claims she had her "head buried in the sand" when it came to Hunter’s finances. During a press conference Wednesday, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed Buhle was one of several Biden family members, including Hallie Biden, who received foreign money and that Hunter received over $1 million from Romania. According to 2016 and 2017 emails reviewed by Fox News Digital from Hunter's abandoned laptop, divorce lawyers for Hunter and Buhle were aware of payments from a "Romania deal"

A federal judge on Thursday evening blocked the Biden administration from implementing a policy that allows for the release of migrants without court dates – just hours away from the end of the Title 42 public health order. Judge T. Kent Wetherell II imposed a two-week restraining order on the Biden administration policy with would see migrants released on "parole with conditions." The policy was outlined in a Border Patrol memo, which says that migrants can be allowed into the country on parole — a process typically reserved for "urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit" — if Customs and Border Protection (CBP) faces overcrowding.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Thursday blamed President Biden for the lack of progress so far in a deal that would allow the government to borrow more money once it hits the debt ceiling in early June. Biden, McCarthy and other congressional leaders were scheduled to meet on Friday to talk about a possible deal to increase the borrowing limit and meet the GOP demand of reducing federal spending. But that meeting was pushed until next week, and McCarthy said the delay is because the White House isn't budging. "I have not seen from there a seriousness of the White House that they want a deal," McCarthy told reporters Thursday.

Chairman James Comer and his dogged Republican colleagues on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability made history this week. They came forward with factual evidence against President Biden and his extended family that make President Richard Nixon’s Watergate investigation and President Bill Clinton’s Whitewater investigation look like traffic infractions by comparison. If there was ever a doubt, it’s clear now that a thin five-seat majority in the House can make an enormous difference in the fight for transparency and integrity at the highest levels of government in Washington, D.C. The consequential information that was released makes it clear that Biden is the central figure in this investigation

If the bombshells unleashed at Wednesday morning’s House Oversight Committee press conference had been about the corruption of a Republican president via millions of dollars in foreign bribes to his family, the clamor for impeachment would have been deafening. Recently, while apologizing to "indigenous peoples" and denouncing Christians — without the all-important historical context — Pope Francis declared, "Never again can the Christian community allow itself to be infected by the idea that one culture is superior to others[.]" This — claiming all cultures are equal — is a dangerous position, not least as it leads to relativism and the abnegation of Truth. For most Western people today, the word culture conjures at best superficial differences — "exotic" dress or food. In reality, however, cultures are nothing less than entire and distinct worldviews with their own unique sets of right and wrongs, often rooted in a

It must have seemed to Democrats like a good idea at the time to encourage the idea that their most solid political base, African Americans, deserve payment from taxpayers for the harm that slavery did to their ancestors. Particularly when Donald Trump began making inroads in 2016, taking Hillary Clinton’s support among black males down to 82%, well below the 90s that Barack Obama enjoyed. Because bribing voting blocs with taxpayers’ money is such a familiar tool for politicians, this tactic didn’t raise alarm at first. In California, which likes to see itself as a trend-maker for the rest of the nation, the Democrat-dominated Legislature passed and Governor
