Daniel Penny is expected to turn himself in as soon as Friday to face criminal charges in connection with the chokehold death of Jordan Neely aboard an F train, according to the Manhattan district attorney's office. "We can confirm that Daniel Penny will be arrested on a charge of Manslaughter in the Second Degree," a spokesperson for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said. "We cannot provide any additional information until he has been arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court, which we expect to take place tomorrow." Neely died following a chokehold on May 1. Video showed Penny, a Marine veteran, putting Neely in a chokehold following outbursts from Neely on the train.

Yet another reason to avoid that filthy armpit of a city. They value their psycho street thugs more than their citizens. I've been seeing more and more New York plates in my sleepy corner of Appalachia in recent months. Very disturbing.

How to get a communist country: create chaos, let murderers go free, refuse to prosecute any other crime and punish those who try to stop it or save lives. Mr. Penny is a hero. I thank him for his service and hope sanity returns to this country and he is allowed to go free.

Despicable treatment for this hero who stepped up to save the people on that subway car from harm and possible death at the hands of a mentally off repeat offender. The elected officials in New York should have had him put somewhere if he was mentally off, but no, they put innocent people at risk and ultimately the guy paid the price. The marine should be given a medal for helping the innocent people who were in danger on that train.

Democrats are aggressively removing every liberty and every protection against chaos and tyranny. A liberal despises the right to self defense. because it empowers the individual and not the totalitarian state. Bragg has no choice. As a liberal, he must imprison anyone who resists death by psychopath predator. Bragg is also a racist. The man who saved those subway riders and himself from death is European-American.

The voters in NYC apparently believe (and insist) thar crazy people are just fine among them and should be treated with deference. If they yell obscenities and threats, ignore them and just remain silent in your seat making sure to avoid eye contact. And if they happen to assault or rape you, just lean back and enjoy it. Under no circumstance should you defend yourself. That breaks the NY unwritten law, and you WILL be punished. Yeah, I think that just about covers it. It's the elite NYC culture.

After years of violent and bizarre behavior and arrests, “outraged” libs are insisting that Mr. Neely should have been given Treatment. Not that they didn’t have the chance some 40 times. Perhaps they recognize, as most awake people do, that “treatment” is most often administered by people who are as deluded as their patient. The results are not publicized, other than in their own “journals” because they are unread fiction.

In an apparent escalation of Yevgeny Prigozhin's public feud with Vladimir Putin over his for-hire army, the leader of the Wagner mercenary group offered to sell out the locations of Russian troops to Ukrainian officials in exchange for their mercy on the battlefield, according to leaked intelligence documents. The Washington Post reported that US military intelligence documents allegedly shared on a Discord server by Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old airman at a National Guard unit in Massachusetts, included a briefing on a January meeting between Prigozhin and unnamed Ukrainian officials where the Wagner leader made his desperate offer. In exchange for Ukrainians pulling back from the front lines of battle in Bakhmut,

Donald Trump’s CNN town hall on Wednesday night was viewed as a gift from the political gods inside Biden world. But within broader Democratic circles it fed a nagging and growing concern. Is the president’s team a touch too confident about a Trump-Biden rematch? For more than a year, White House aides and Joe Biden allies have beat the same drum about the coming election: The world doubted us before and we’ll prove them wrong again. That conviction has only been fortified by the last two years, in which major legislative strides and a better-than-expected midterm came in the face of routine skepticism. But as the campaign gears up,

They don’t understand why CNN would give Trump a forum, they are appalled that the audience was in Trump’s corner, and they are frustrated that Trump dominated the event, with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins unable to keep Trump under control, let alone embarrass him. Inevitably, CNN’s host ignored the pressing issues of the day and went straight to what the Left really cares about, the 2020 election and Trump’s refusal to accept that Biden’s victory was legitimate (just as Hillary Clinton refused to accept that Trump’s 2016 victory was legitimate). This was Collins’s first question (from CNN’s transcript):
