The killing of a troubled man in a New York City subway car earlier this week has ignited a political firestorm. The battle is not the usual partisan fight between Democrats and Republicans, but instead a struggle between progressives and more centrist members of the Democratic Party. At issue is the response to the killing of Jordan Neely, a 30-year-old man experiencing homelessness, on an F train in Manhattan on Monday. The final parts of the encounter that led to Neely’s death were filmed on a cellphone. They show him being held in a chokehold by another civilian. Neely is

Comments:

Neely's whole life was a tragedy. The only question was when he was going to unravel and how many innocent lives he would take with him.

I get it. If a black person kills another black person for any reason, that is ok. Same if a black person kills a white person. But if a white person kills a black person even in self defense or to save others from serious or fatal harm, then he should be hanged and all white people condemned. Our country has gone from blind justice to only color matters justice.

Violent psychotic people should be left alone to go about their business, however it affects others. Especially in public areas where others cannot avoid their behavior. It's only right.

"Vigilante justice" is what people turn to when regular justice doesn't do its job. And it usually becomes a downward spiral leading to anarchy, unless regular justice reasserts itself.

The bleeding hearts can cry all they want about Jordan Neely. However, it is the bleeding heart liberals who created people like Jordan Neely. Lax laws and mental health advocates would scream to the high heavens if Jordan Neely were forced to get treatment or be on medications to control his mental illness. According to many "advocates", it is Jordan Neely's RIGHT to refuse treatment and live as he chooses. There are plenty of mental health treatment option for people like Neely. However, like most of them, they choose to not get treatment, choose to not live in shelters, choose not to take medications which would help their illness. Instead they choose to live like animals on the streets, eat garbage or beg for food, take illegal drugs on the streets, and be homeless. It is their choice and the advocates keep it that way. It would most likely have taken a court order to have force him to have gotten treatment. The bleeding hearts always seem to forget this when they cry their crocodile tears about the system that they designed!

Leftists get their panties in a wad over the death of a psychotic black petty criminal in the NY subway. Echoes of what happened to Bernie Goetz in the mid-1980s when he tried to defend himself after repeated harassment. In both cases, the punks had it coming.

"30-year-old man experiencing homlessness" In truth, he was a 30-year-old man who had been arrested 42 times already in his life. There was an outstanding warrant out for his arrest, and, obviously, he was psychotic. If you or your loved ones were on that train with him in that condition, you would be terrified. He was a criminal who was threatening people on a moving subway train where there was no way out. We no longer believe anything that the mainstream media tells us because they lie about everything. The image of the newsman telling us we were watching a "peaceful" protest when we could see the flames of a burning building right behind him during the summer riots of 2020 said it all. And we do not respect you either because you do not believe in objective truth.

Of course, the Rev. Al Sharpton, longtime racial arsonist and indefatigable defender of the Tawana Brawley hoax, is at it again, calling for the 24-year-old ex-Marine (a European-American) and the two other men who helped to pin down the thug until police arrived, to all be indicted on criminal charges. As a commuter, who took the E-Train up from the World Trade Center to Lexington and 53rd Street every day and also that F-Train down to the Port Authority Bus Terminal for many years, I well remember the large number of guttersnipes on the NYC subways. In fact, after Bernie Goetz shot several “alleged” perpetrators in 1984, the joke going around Manhattan was, the judge should have sentenced Bernie to “additional target practice.” God bless that heroic ex-Marine and the two other men who helped him restrain that deranged maggot. And, if they are indicted, I urge everyone to donate to their legal defense team.

NEW YORK -- The end of emergency immigration restrictions is expected to result in a flood of migrants at the U.S. southern border, and New York City is bracing for what leaders are calling a "tidal wave" of asylum seekers. Mayor Eric Adams, desperately searching for places to use as shelters, is asking every commissioner to comb through their facility portfolios to find any space that can be used for emergency, temporary sites to house asylum seekers. Call it an "all agencies on deck" strategy. CBS2's Marcia Kramer asked if police precincts could be used, like Chicago just started doing, and
