Democratic Senator John Fetterman blamed Dr. Mehmet Oz and the “vicious” 2022 campaign season for his ongoing battle with depression, RadarOnline.com has learned. In a surprising interview to come roughly one month after the 53-year-old senator was released from the hospital following a six-week stay for depression, Fetterman spoke about his lingering mental health issues to CBS News affiliate KDKA-TV. “I feel fantastic, honestly,” Fetterman told the Pittsburgh-based outlet following his first official week back in Washington. “A lot of people have asked: 'Hey, how are you feeling? How's your depression?'” “Again, it's in remission,” he continued, “and I am

Now: Mainstream Democrat national politician.

Not sure that depression can be in remission.
Since the Clintons perfected the politics of personal destruction, American politics has become a bloodsport. If you cannot stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Poster #5 nails it. It was The Beast On A Broomstick - - a fervent, evil disciple of Rules For Radicals - - and the cowardly psychopants in the leftist press - - who changed the tone of our discourse - - and it's gotten worse ever since.
Is it OK - - to wish that someone burns in Hell for all eternity?

He has to blame someone. In the eyes of the leftist and socialist Democrats, no wimpy Republicans should be out there opposing their election to public office.

The problem isn't Fetterman's opponent. The problem is Fetterman's reaction to his opponent. Which is easier to control? Your opponent or your own personal reaction? This is all on him.

Fetterman ignored advice from his doctor for five years before the stroke. He admitted that. But now, like a good little democrat, he blamed his debilitation on someone else.

Dr. Oz tripped over himself trying to avoid using Fetterman's obvious mental disability against him. Any mention that something might be wrong with Fetterman or he was not competent to be a Senator was met with viscous attacks by the Fetterman loving media. The main stream media, social media, and Democrats all conspired to paint Fetterman as the everyman candidate that Pennsylvania needed. Sure he was a brain numbed numbskull, but he was their numbskull and they did everything they could to help him.

Having suffered for almost forty years with depression, from mild to severe this is BS. First off as with alcoholism, you're always going to be an alcoholic. You might be on the wagon but each day you face the possibility that you will fall off. Depression is the same. You're not in remission, you're not cured you're either medicated to dull the feeling or you've learned to handle the depression and not let it handle you. It can be done. I've done it. Occasionally now, particularly if I'm very tired or ill I fall into depression. When I get rested up and when I'm over the illness then I go back to my normal status. I always recognize it for what it is and what I need to do to push it into the background again.

And as I mentioned a few days ago, PEOPLE Mag had a multi page spread on Fetterman, his courage, his ability, yada yada yada. A quirk that I bought the mag, as it's not so subtle bias always shows, but I did and there it was. A good reason NEVER to buy it again.

From shortly after his stroke:
A statement from Fetterman's cardiologist Dr. Ramesh Chandra on Friday revealed that he had previously undisclosed heart conditions and had not seen any doctor or taken his required medications since first being diagnosed in 2017.
"I first saw John in 2017," wrote Chandra. "He was experiencing swelling in his feet and came to get it checked out. That is when I diagnosed him with atrial
fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm, along with a decreased heart pump."
"I had prescribed medications along with improved diet and exercise and asked
him to follow up again in the following months," he continued. "Instead, I did not see him again until yesterday. John did not go to any doctor for 5 years and did not continue taking his medications.”
