A 20-year veteran prosecutor walked out of the Cook County state’s attorney’s office for the last time on Friday.
Jason Poje, a long-time felony trial attorney for the office, entered his two-week notice on April 21. But before he moved on to the next chapter of his life, Poje sent a goodbye email to 85 colleagues late Friday afternoon.
In his farewell, Poje extended thanks and appreciation to his colleagues. And he explained why he decided to leave the office — and the state.

This resignation letter hits the nail squarely on the head. Our government is now functioning for the criminals, of the criminals, and by the criminals. It has completely abandoned support, protection, and service for the normal, law-abiding citizens. Is everyone blind to this fact? Why aren't they rising up and voting these criminal-coddlers out of office?
I guess all those nice college-educated women think it's all worth it to still be able to murder their unborn babies.

Very powerful letter that every single person in Chicago and the entire state of Illinois should read or have read to them in far too many cases.

Mister District Attorney did the only thing he could do. There are red states all along the road less traveled that need great prosecutors. DA Conferences in every state have great communications networks.

When the insiders begin to leave, you know it's bad. Lightfoot, Kim Foxx and the new putz they chose for mayor are responsible for the demise of Chicago and Cook County.

It is a deep concern of red state residents when their new arrivals are fleeing the condition of the blue state they have chosen to flee because they might tend to bring with them a political belief that is the root cause of the misery.
Reading the very well-constructed message of Jason Poje, he will enter his new home state as a refugee rather than a missionary, and as such, will add value to his new home state.

Big Bidet's party wants social chaos. They crave a real insurrection to put down with helicopter gunships to be followed by years of repression.
All Dims are voting for this. They believe the bad people will be summarily dealt with. The bad people being those who oppose the Dims.

"When the people who are in power want to use again, create an image, to justify something that's bad, they use the press. And they'll use the press to create a humanitarian image, for a devil, or a devil image for a humanitarian. They'll take a person who's a victim of the crime, and make it appear he's the criminal, and they'll take the criminal and make it appear that he's the victim of the crime.

Mr. Poje, you have the courage to quit and not only leave your job and your state, you give the reason why. Now, have the courage to write another article telling why this is happening, not because of incompetence or corruption but a deliberate attack on society, no, on civilization itself. The proof is because it's not only in Illinois where this attack on law and order is happening but across our great country. When in hell will those who blindly vote for 'rats wake up?

Godspeed good servant - may you trade up, wherever you land. There are many pockets of good places still in this wavering country who will cherish your expertise. I hope you've found one.

It is deliberate, purposeful destruction of the United States of America. One city, one county at a time. It spreads like a virus made in a lab of true evil, killing freedom and the pursuit of happiness with dreadful efficiency. Until we openly name the sources, and openly resist them, we will continue to lose this battle.

To borrow the quote from a previous posted article by American Thinker, by Brian C. Joondeph MD:
President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign promise, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America"
Unfortunately, most don't realize what that phrase likely meant, and still don't. Sounds like "we're going to improve things, be more harmonious, improve race relations, etc... right?
Now, does the GOP run commercials asking "if you keep electing the same people who keep allowing these things to take place, you will continue to get more", or something to that effect.
Trump said it when he asked "what do they have to lose"?

We are going to be seeing more of this. Just look at California and New York for starters. Any large crime ridden area.
People will be looking at their situations and realizing they cannot continue on. The guy is raising a 5 year old son. Take him to the local playground, and they hear gunfire. There were drug dealers operating behind his house on two occasions. At some point you realize you have to protect your family. The problems cannot be fixed so you move.
Fight for something? What if there is nothing worth left fighting for? What if there is no way to fight it? I've moved twice. Once was definitely a dead end neighborhood. The other was turning into one. It might be the only way to fight this stuff. Let the savages and looters fight and kill one another and watch from the sidelines.

Agreed #7. Have been saying for a while, given the scale and speed of the increase in
crime, someone or a LOT of someones ( yes, I have some ideas as to who ) want the crime
rate to get so bad that 'enough' people will clamor for the 'government' to do
SOMETHING, ANYTHING to stop crime. To which the response will be that
Marshal Law is the O N L Y solutions so ................................................
If marshal law is put in place, activated, call it what you will, it will allow ( cause ? )
incarcerations ( reeducation camps, prisons, slave labor - study 1930's Germany for an idea
of how all of this works ! ), PRIVATE property seizures ( kiss the 2nd amendment goodbye -
property, ANY property desired by the 'haves' will simply be CONFISCATED ) all of this
WITHOUT warrants, trials or any kind of escape or recourse !!
Sound scary ?? It should because it IS !!
