Russian Oil Still Powering Europe’s
Cars With Help of India

Russian oil is still powering Europe — just with the help of India. Back in December, the European Union barred almost any seaborne crude oil imports from Russia. It extended the prohibition to refined fuels two months later. However, the rules didn’t prevent countries like India from snapping up cheap Russian crude, turning it into fuels like diesel, and shipping it back to Europe at a markup. The Asian country is on track to become Europe’s largest supplier of refined fuels this month while simultaneously buying record amounts of Russian crude, according to data compiled by Bloomberg from analytics firm Kpler.

The Indians are buying at $52 per barrel. Selling to the Europeans at market price and pocketing the difference. When Blinken protested to the Indian foreign minister, he replied” You have your policy goals, we have ours”!

Alls fair in love and war. India is taking advantage of a business opportunity. If not them, someone else would be doing it. The U.S. and NATO used the people of Ukraine as bait to set this trap for Putin and Russia. Zelensky was more than happy to be the Judas stooge for his own personal payday. As so goes, "as the world turns" is more than old soap opera title.

(Woodstock, ME) Just hours after he was fired by Fox News, conservative firebrand Tucker Carlson's phone lit up with well-wishes from locals in the quaint Maine town where he spends most of his summers. The 53-year-old has stirred up vitriol as one of the most polarizing political commentators in the country, but in the small rural town of Woodstock, residents never felt that antagonism in person from the man they describe as a good neighbor. 'More time for fishing?' his carpenter Patrick Fenney said in a text message to Carlson at lunchtime Monday, shortly after the news broke.

Victor Davis Hanson often has a unique big picture perspective on current events, linking and contrasting the disconnected high-brow outlook to the pragmatic perspectives of the modern populist movement. Hanson takes an academic approach to the reality of current social constructs, yet in his own unique way he can describe the current status in a thoughtful and practical way. In this analysis VDH contrasts the goals of the ideological media, specifically the goals of those in the Republican wing of the media control apparatus, to the reality they have created by removing the voice of Tucker Carlson. On Monday, Hunter Biden will finally make it to Arkansas. The Natural State is not a Biden family favorite but there is one thing that would ordinarily be an attraction: Biden’s daughter Navy Joan. In the Biden family, the four-year-old girl remains “she who must not be named” literally. Not only has President Biden refused to refer to her as a grandchild or even include a Christmas stocking with the other children, her father Hunter is fighting to prevent her from using the Biden name. Indeed, the only reason that Hunter is coming to the same state with his daughter is to seek to limit his child support.

Kansas has become the first state to adopt a definition of gender with the passage of legislation that keeps men, no matter what gender they identify as, out of women’s bathrooms, locker rooms, sports, and other intimate spaces. It also separates inmates and restricts participation in sports by biological sex. The move came late Thursday afternoon when the state legislature voted to override Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly’s veto of S.B. 180, which became known as the “Women’s Bill of Rights.”

Apparently, the political and business leaders were unimpressed by the diminutive stature of the Top-Gov and had lots of uncomplimentary things to say about him. Meanwhile, on the domestic front, the most recent Trump -vs- DeSantis poll shows another slip for the DeSantis brand managers, despite the considerable lifts they put in his shoes to assist the optics. President Trump now leads Ron DeSantis 62% to 16% in polling, a 46-point advantage {link}.

This date is earlier than Wall Street economists were expecting. Goldman Sachs' latest estimate this week
