Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is urging Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to not follow through with his "inhuman and dangerous" plan to send more migrants and asylum seekers from his southern state to her city. The outgoing Chicago mayor made her appeal to the Republican governor in a letter Sunday, stating that they are aware Texas is planning as soon as Monday to start sending migrants to Democrat-led cities including Chicago. Who is going to listen to her? In any case, Texas has no room for them either. Send them to Bidenville.

When the border is opened up even wider in a few days, we need all the ranchers in Texas, maybe Arizona too, to load up their cattle trailers with illegals and haul them to the Democrat cites that love them so much. Let's see, they can stand just like a cow does, so 4 square feet per person? A 20" trailer by 6" wide inside = 30 invaders on a 20" farm trailer. Just imagine how many we could haul on 18 wheel cattle haulers. Washington DC, New York, and Chicago along with Seattle and others will be full in no time. Oh well. It is not a bastion of progressive wealth; its charm is its historic simplicity and natural beauty of the Shenandoah dumping into the Potomac amidst the surrounding mountains. Think Biden administration regulators have it in for gas stoves? Just wait until you learn what they have in store for air conditioners. In fact, many homeowners are already finding out first hand. It’s all part of team Biden’s prioritization of climate change policy over the interests of consumers. Now that air conditioning season is commencing across most of America, nearly 100 million homeowners are turning on their systems for the first time since last summer, hoping they get cold air. Those that don’t will need repairs, which may require replacing refrigerant that has leaked out of the system. Unfortunately

Before his death in 1964, Ian Fleming wrote 14 books about James Bond, and the literary franchise, just like 007 himself, has proved unkillable. Writers from Kingsley Amis to Anthony Horowitz have taken up the mantle and produced Bond novels. But we’ve had to wait until now, with Kim Sherwood’s new novel “Double or Nothing,” for the Fleming estate to pass the baton to a woman. Although it would be misleading to say that this latest Bond novel is actually about Bond. More than an addition to the canon, “Double or Nothing” is an expansion of the universe, and an

Four years ago, Jill Biden was hesitant about her husband making a White House run, fearing the toll it could take on him and the family. In the months before Joe Biden formally announced he’d make a reelection bid, she had no such reservations. Privately, the first lady encouraged her husband to run again while giving him the space he needed to process the decision in the way he traditionally does: with extensive deliberations, consideration of the burden it would place on his family, and a bit of classic Biden hemming and hawing. She was involved in all the high-level discussions around the decision, giving counsel when she felt it was necessary.
