OK, what is it that caused shooters to drive from far away to shoot up this party? There is something bigger going on here than "my feelings are hurt because I wasn't invited" I will bet. Is the dead young man some sort of a sports threat to these shooters? Some sort of a drug deal on a multicity level gone bad? Very odd to have people traveling long distances to shoot up a party.

Doesn’t take much to set them off. Now, four people dead including the honoree’s brother. This black violence is an ongoing tragedy and all we get is Dems calling for more money for social programs. Lock the murderers up for life with a possibility of parole in thirty years. Commit a felony with a gun and get a mandatory five years. It shouldn’t be a political question....just common sense. You will still have murders in that community and elsewhere but it would least cut them in half.

Would not be surprised if the young man who was standing next to the birthday girl's older brother was an intended target. Ferals and thugs are not known for their targeting accuracy. I hope the authorities come out with their motive soon.

other stories say...they were asked to leave an hour before the shooting, refused. They HAD to be invited, or at least made aware of the dance, likely by some young teen girl, what is an out of town 20yo doing at a sweet sixteen strangers party? Apparently there is a "Man Shortage" in Dadeville, 2010 census showed for every 100 women 18 and over there were only 88 Men., I guess that is why it is Dade...not DADville.

The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals on April 20 issued a temporary administrative hold on the return date of the House Judiciary Committee’s congressional subpoena to Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office. Pomerantz investigated former President Donald Trump’s finances before leaving Bragg’s office in February 2022 in protest of Bragg’s initial unwillingness to bring an indictment against Trump. Bragg then brought the indictment against Trump in late March, prompting Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chair of the House Judiciary Committee, to initiate a probe into what Jordan calls a “politically motivated” prosecution against a former president.

The television host on Tuesday invited on his show Duke University's William Darity, who co-authored the book 'From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century'. Darity suggested the US government issue the funds in much the same way it sent out checks to millions of Americans during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, at a cost of $14 trillion.

The embassy sent out an alert that it’s already too late for any normal exit: The airport, located in central Khartoum, is closed but would be inoperable even if it reopened due to damage from bombardment and fighting.
