Dr. Phil says Duke University professor's

Dr Phil on Tuesday warned an economics professor's plan for $350,000 in reparations to 40 million descendants of slaves would be 'an absolute disaster', arguing that giving a lump sum was not the best way to help anyone. The television host on Tuesday invited on his show Duke University's William Darity, who co-authored the book 'From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century'. Darity suggested the US government issue the funds in much the same way it sent out checks to millions of Americans during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, at a cost of $14 trillion.

The question I didn't hear asked was: "What happens when the descendants of slaves have spent all the reparation money?" Is there more $$$ to be awarded or are the descendants on their own? If yes, then the one time printing of money might be well spent. No more welfare for the descendants.

The bill for this will be levied on those who never owned a slave nor any other their ancestors owned a slave and paid to those who never were nor where any of their parents were slaves just to buy their votes. The ultimate injustice is many in Africa who are the descendants of those who captured and sold other Africans into slavery want to get in on this gravy train.

The problem is not that the Federal government doesn't have the money. They routinely make appropriations that require dollars to be created by the Federal Reserve. That is how they were able to quickly respond to the pandemic without raising taxes. The problem is that if they created $14 trillion and injected it into the economy by giving it to people who would immediately spend it, they would immediately create a massive inflation that would drive down the living standards of everyone. If the amount of money in the economy exceeds its capacity to produce goods and services those goods and services will go up in price. Its a fundamental law of economics. I don't think the plan is to improve the lives of poor blacks. I think the plan all along is to destroy the United States as an economic power in the world. If you dig deep enough you will find China's fingerprints all over the push for reparations.

Well, this is disappointing news. The Washington Post reported Thursday that “the national Democratic Party has said it will support Biden’s reelection, and it has no plans to sponsor primary debates.” It’s understandable: the Dems have a president, of sorts, and so they’re counting on the power of incumbency to help their superannuated kleptocrat get over the top again. However, it’s also immensely disappointing, because after years and years of Democratic presidential debates being dreary displays of candidates trying to out-socialist one another, 2024 Democratic primary debates would have actually had something to offer.

In findings that will shock no one living in the real world, reviews of evidence in several European countries reportedly found that transgender treatments and surgeries don’t actually solve mental health issues as predicted. Many young people are talked into “gender transitions” because they are told that this is the best or only way to prevent suicide. But the evidence simply isn’t there to back up such a claim. A review published on April 14 for Current Sexual Health Reports acknowledged the fact that hacking off body parts and halting normal puberty development doesn’t create the utopian joy LGBTQ that activists anticipate. The review explains under “Recent Findings”:
