Alabama law enforcement officials announced during a Wednesday morning press conference that two brothers had been arrested and charged with reckless murder in connection with Saturday night’s Dadeville birthday party shooting.(snip)officials announced no rifle casings were found at the scene. Rather, all the spent shell casings were from “handguns.” (snip)NBC News reported a motive was not revealed for the McCullough brothers’ alleged attack on the partygoers. However, the party’s DJ, Keenan Cooper, indicated that the shooting began roughly an hour after someone was prohibited from entering the party because they were armed.

Comments:

Upon finding out that someone was trying to enter her daughter’s party while armed with a gun, this mother went and confronted the armed teenager. She was wounded, as was her daughter, and her son was shot dead protecting his sister, the honoree. The two shooters came all the way from Tuskegee to do this.

So, why is Breitbart featuring 2 white boys in the photo at the beginning of the article? The shooters were black. Photo is obviously of grieving classmates/friends. Deliberately misleading.

Who travels an hour to shoot up a birthday party? Seems like maybe this is something bigger than a spur of the moment "he's dissin' me!" (all too common) insanity. Are these two and the third one originally from Dadeville and off at college, coming back for their buddy's party? Or what? Seems very odd. I suppose we'll eventually hear what the connection is and what the issue was that was so serious at to "deserve" to kill four and wound 28. An amazing amount of hate to shoot all those people, very sad.

Parties often end up on social media. Other bad acts have had thei beginning there. As for returning college students, the two brothers are only 16 and 17.

Nothing ferals love more is a good party they weren't invited to. They have no manners and don't deserve any respect either. Respect is earned through behavior and actions. Not just given.

The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals on April 20 issued a temporary administrative hold on the return date of the House Judiciary Committee’s congressional subpoena to Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office. Pomerantz investigated former President Donald Trump’s finances before leaving Bragg’s office in February 2022 in protest of Bragg’s initial unwillingness to bring an indictment against Trump. Bragg then brought the indictment against Trump in late March, prompting Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chair of the House Judiciary Committee, to initiate a probe into what Jordan calls a “politically motivated” prosecution against a former president.

The Act expressly preempts State and local regulations on the energy use of natural gas appliances used in household and restaurant kitchens, according to the Ninth Circuit judges’ opinion on Monday.

Dr Phil on Tuesday warned an economics professor's plan for $350,000 in reparations to 40 million descendants of slaves would be 'an absolute disaster', arguing that giving a lump sum was not the best way to help anyone. The television host on Tuesday invited on his show Duke University's William Darity, who co-authored the book 'From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century'. Darity suggested the US government issue the funds in much the same way it sent out checks to millions of Americans during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, at a cost of $14 trillion.

The civil war in Sudan between two wanna-be warlords reached the capital of Khartoum almost a week ago, and yet no one apparently had thought to extract US diplomatic personnel and private citizens from the country. The embassy sent out an alert that it’s already too late for any normal exit: The airport, located in central Khartoum, is closed but would be inoperable even if it reopened due to damage from bombardment and fighting. The roughly 70 U.S. staff at the embassy have no options to leave Sudan on their own
