Charges against Alec Baldwin have been dropped in the fatal on-set "Rust" shooting, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Baldwin, 65, had been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter after fatally shooting cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, on the New Mexico set of the Western in October 2021. The actor was practicing a cross-draw when the gun fired, striking the cinematographer and director Joel Souza, who suffered a non-life-threatening injury. "We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and we encourage a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic accident," Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro,
I guess it is true what they say...if you are a liberal you can get away with murder.

So...the gun did it. It was simply "gun violence" this whole time. Only peons were responsible, not the rich guy who All caps deleted. We don’t shout here.. I've been a gunner for over 40 years and never has a gun yet fired itself, but OK Alex, I guess you're really special.
A lot of laws but no justice ...

Once again, the standard of hand-slap justice if a Democrat is the perp. Sickening.
I hope the family got something punitive in the settlement with that lowlife murderer.

FTA:"Rust," which had been on hiatus since the deadly on-set shooting, resumed principal photography...
They even have the unmitigated gaul to resume filming the movie with Baldwin, as if nothing even happened.

Weird. So he pointed a gun and killed someone, but it wasn't "involuntary manslaughter"? So what was it? Voluntary manslaughter? He was just "practicing a cross-draw when the gun fired," passive tense, the gun fired. Wow. That's why liberals are terrified to find out there's a gun somewhere in my house because at any random moment the gun can just fire and kill someone.

Halyna Hutchins, 42, was unavailable for comment.
In other news, Donald Trump was indicted by the NY DA on felony "defrauding the government" charges resulting from an overdue library book fine from 1976.

This arrogant, narcissistic puke, desperately in need of anger management, was never going to be found guilty. The radical left will never find one of their own guilty of anything, even if caught on tape. He was golden from the get go.

It was a foregone conclusion... although I have to admit that they surprised me when they even pretended to consider punishing Baldwin.
Because it is yet another Soros owned District Attorney and a Soros owned State Attorney General. OF COURSE they are going to let their ally Baldwin off; He is one of the best known and vocal Trump haters, and a WEF member.

Chances are it took some time for the proper payoffs to be made and accepted. As long as the Democrats are running the show, you will never know for sure!

New Mexico is a leftist paradise, so, no, I am not surprised. It should be said that the Prosecution probably feels that the best remedy right now for "six-gun" Baldwin is the Civil Courts.

Single action revolvers just don't go off by them selves. Who pulled the trigger? That is who is ultimately responsible for the revolver.

Two tiers of "justice" in Amerika these days.....rich and powerful are never guilty, and conservatives and the middle class are ALWAYS guilty of something. The DA's say "give us some time...we'll find something" unless you are rich or powerful.
So the armorer will be hung, and the rich leftist that actually FIRED THE SHOT will get nothing.
This is very wrong.

If they are indeed going to resume filming on this project, this movie deserves to bomb worse than all the worst movies ever from Hollywood. Alec Baldwin is a corrupted mental boil on the fanny of what is left of Hollywood. I hope that the family takes this to civil court because since the law is a little bit more loose, they might enact some severe financial penalty on this creep.

Who got paid off? Corruption rules. Maybe someone will even up the score with Baldwin in a court wrongful death suit.
