On Oct. 30 last year, just nine days before the 2022 midterm elections, Democratic Senate nominee John Fetterman told a crowd gathered here for a rally to pay no mind to his debate performance — just elect him, and he would be their 51st vote.
“Come January, when a new Congress is sworn in, I’ll be much better, but Dr. Oz will still be a fraud,” Fetterman said.At the same time, Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) went on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell, offering a word salad to the effect that Fetterman was fine, just missing a word or two, and that he and his team had been virtuous

A vacuum was created when Fetterman was elected Senator.

In any case the leftist Democrats are going to do what they think will advance their leftist political agenda and will not worry about the wimpy Democrats.

The biggest vacuum is between the ears of the Pennsylvania voters.

With few exceptions, the Senate is one big puppet show.
Our side of the aisle is no better.
There needs to be a discussion regarding term limits for staffers and salary limits for the unelected.
And for the love of Mike, repeal the seventeenth amendment to prevent this farce from continuing.

There is something going on that we are not being told. People don't just go to the hospital indefinitely over "depression." He's likely gotten worse someway and the public is not being told.

His handlers put out a picture of a happy healthy fetterman last week but there’s no way that’s actually him. Someone did a half and half of old and new fetterman and it’s definitely not the same person. So yeah, he’s probably dead.

In my mind's ear I keep hearing the Beatles (Lennon) on the White Album, "Yer Blues."
"... The eagle picks my eye / The worm he licks my bones / I feel so suicidal /
Just like Dylan's Mr. Jones / Lonely / Want to die / If I ain't dead already, woo
Girl, you know the reason why...."
Get the fork. I think Fetterwoman is done, right down to the tattoos. Sure beats working, doesn't it, Lumpy?

In PA we have one allegedly "depressed" Senator and one who as far as I can tell just warms a chair in the Senate chamber. In all the years Bob Casey has been a Senator, I cannot name even one thing he's done. He's rarely mentioned by our flamingly, woke, liberal newspaper. My state has no real representation in the Senate IMO.

6 weeks in a mental facility isn't good news. Since Easter break is coming up soon, he'll probably be gone at least until the middle of April.

He's a State's officeholder in the Senate, one of 100, and therefore, while particularly answerable to the "voters" (such as they are or whoever got him into DC), in PA, he is also answerable to the Nation.
As #1 says, in one way or another, he is gone.
