It cannot be overstated just how lousy of a speaker Kamala Harris is. Always. She’s become known for her expertise in tossing a word salad every time she speaks. The video was three minutes long and she didn’t speak a single word.(Snip)That wasn’t an oversight. That was deliberate. No one can trust that she is going to sound like she knows what she is saying. To be fair about it I can think of one thing positive that has happened since Dumb and Dumber took the reins of the country. George Soros has called off the dogs on street demonstrations where I live. When OUR PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP was in charge, where I live in Atlanta, GA, you never knew if the streets you needed to drive in would be open or full of surly idiots screaming Some Black Lives Matter.

Loved to have listened in on all the internal discussions before Joe announced his bid for re-election with Kamala. The team that has made a mess of the country wants four more years.

Biden’s Age Is Not the Problem Here! 0 replies

Much has been written about the remarkably large percentage of Americans who don’t want President Joe Biden to run for a second term. Most of the commentariat, however, tiptoes around the obvious reason they want him to retire after one term. When they can’t avoid discussing Biden’s bizarre behavior and weird maundering, most pundits hide behind vague allusions to his age, but the public has long known that the real problem is his steady cognitive decline.

Tucker Carlson, who was abruptly fired by Fox News this week, has a theory about why he was let go from the network. If he’s right, the implications are quite significant. Though he hasn’t said anything about this in public, Carlson believes that the network is on the verge of being sold by the Murdoch family. “Carlson has told people he doesn’t know why he was terminated. According to the source, [Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott] refused to tell him how the decision was made; she only said that it was made ‘from above.’ Carlson has told people he believes his controversial show is being taken off the

Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News, and his enemies are aflutter with media-industry schadenfreude. Contrary to their self-image, most media types—including in right-wing journalism—are highly risk-averse and deferential in the extreme to the imperatives of power. So they can’t help crowing “Aha! Aha!” when a genuinely defiant and independent-minded figure among them appears to stumble. Such a figure is Carlson. Beginning in 2016, he anchored the most interesting and important news show on television. He soon emerged as a tribune for populist opponents of endless war and Big Tech-enabled censorship and surveillance, at his best ripping into the GOP’s plutocracy caucus as well as mainstream Democrats.

Hunter Biden is hiding out at the $50 million vineyard owned by major Democrat donor Joe Kiani. Hunter Biden and his wife Melissa Cohen escaped for a getaway Friday at the vineyard. Kiani, a medical device company executive, is a major door to Joe Biden. The couple and their Secret Service detail arrived at the location, about three hours north of LA in Santa Barbara wine country in a four-car motorcade. Does a four-car motorcade seem excessive for a president’s grown son? Maybe it’s just me. Hunter must be feeling the stress of the lawsuit in Arkansas closing in on him and the congressional investigations

I wouldn’t exactly call Tucker Carlson a friend. As you have probably already heard, this morning Tucker abruptly left his position as the most powerful anchor at Fox News, or anywhere on television. I’ve never had a beer or a coffee off-set with Tucker. We have very similar views on some issues, like the dangers of cannabis and mRNA jabs, but very different on others like Ukraine. And I only got to know him when he was already hugely successful. Adults have a hard time becoming close under those circumstances. I’ve never wanted to be the guy asking Tucker (or Elon) for favors - aside from the favor

Independent journalist Matt Taibbi, who was threatened with jail time by a top Democrat on Capitol Hill over testimony he gave about his reporting on the Twitter Files, feels the media would have lost its minds if Republicans did the same to CNN's Jim Acosta. "Can you imagine if something like this had happened in the Trump years? If Republicans had threatened someone like Jim Acosta with five years in prison over a minor error? That he didn’t even make in testimony before Congress? You would have had every human rights organization on earth complaining about it but not a peep from my so-called colleagues

It is now all too obvious that the corporate media colluded with corrupt elements of the security state to alter the outcomes of two presidential elections. Their first foray into election interference failed because, in 2016, they underestimated the power of social media and allowed Donald Trump to speak directly to the voters. They fixed that problem in 2020 by convincing Facebook and Twitter to censor legitimate news stories while disseminating disinformation. And it is no coincidence that former Obama and current Biden administration officials were involved in both interference schemes.

RFK Jr. announced his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination yesterday. He seeks to wrest it from the presumptive (and presumptuous) Democratic candidate Joe Biden. RCP — not to be confused with RFK — has posted video, clips, and text of Kennedy’s announcement here. I found much to like in the substance and tone of Kennedy’s announcement. I enjoyed his tribute to his wife, Cheryl Hines, and to his family — the quick and the dead. He attacked the merger of state and corporate power. I wish he would expand the attack to woke corporate America. It would complement his professed desire to overcome the divisions

Here we go again. It seems as if every other election cycle or so for the past few decades has produced dreams of a centrist third party "unity" ticket that would appeal to all the Americans who say they want the partisan bickering in Washington to stop. The Beltway media gets excited at the idea of "the grown-ups" being in charge and the Big Money Boys lick their chops at the prospect of a party based entirely on their needs and their needs alone. This year it looks like the perennial group that calls itself No Labels has decided to throw a monkey wrenchCORRECTION*

The Democratic Party and President Joe Biden are wrecking the country. Their ongoing economic blunders, perverse cultural agenda, and corrupt foreign policy, if unchecked in the near future, will turn the United States into a dystopian nightmare comparable to Venezuela. This can be averted if former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis run together on the 2024 Republican presidential ballot. Neither can win in 2024 without the other, even if the Democratic alternative is an unpopular incumbent whose running mate is a running joke.

Clinton got impeached, but then he still had a high approval rating. Warning for graphic language:

DENVER – Your lawn may be the next climate change battleground. And parks. And playgrounds. Regulators and clean-air advocates are increasingly eyeing the pollution emitted by small gasoline engines used to power lawn mowers and leaf blowers as they seek to blunt climate change. Advocates say using a commercial gas leaf blower for an hour produces emissions equal to driving from Denver to Los Angeles. Among cities and states with bans or limits: California; Burlington, Vermont; Vancouver, Canada; and Washington, D.C. While many critics first attacked the small engines for the noise they make, experts say these small, two-stroke engines release

Before his death in 1964, Ian Fleming wrote 14 books about James Bond, and the literary franchise, just like 007 himself, has proved unkillable. Writers from Kingsley Amis to Anthony Horowitz have taken up the mantle and produced Bond novels. But we’ve had to wait until now, with Kim Sherwood’s new novel “Double or Nothing,” for the Fleming estate to pass the baton to a woman. Although it would be misleading to say that this latest Bond novel is actually about Bond. More than an addition to the canon, “Double or Nothing” is an expansion of the universe, and an

The Supreme Court decision last year in Dobbs v. Jackson overruled Roe v. Wade, their 1973 decision that purported to find an abortion right in a U.S. Constitution that never mentions or alludes to it. Abortion is now rightly governed by the people’s elected legislators, and, sadly, to some extent by unelected bureaucrats, but, in any event, not by judges. The Dobbs decision was leaked a couple of months in advance of its issuance.

“Cringe” somehow doesn’t suffice here. This is supra-cringe, trans-cringe. Biden’s handlers invited the Air Force football team to congratulate them on their past season and rolled their charge out to meet them for a brief photo op.It would seem to be quite a simple task for a lifelong Swamp member: smile like you’re greeting old friends, gladhand like only a plastic politician can, gracefully accept the gifts, smile for the cameras some more, and depart. On Monday, Hunter Biden will finally make it to Arkansas. The Natural State is not a Biden family favorite but there is one thing that would ordinarily be an attraction: Biden’s daughter Navy Joan. In the Biden family, the four-year-old girl remains “she who must not be named” literally. Not only has President Biden refused to refer to her as a grandchild or even include a Christmas stocking with the other children, her father Hunter is fighting to prevent her from using the Biden name. Indeed, the only reason that Hunter is coming to the same state with his daughter is to seek to limit his child support.

Right now, Joe Biden’s biggest enemy in the 2024 election is Joe Biden. If you are an incumbent president, there are many possible recipes for success in re-election—but slow and declining economic growth topped with persistently high inflation is not one of them. The economic news is ugly for the country, which will get over it eventually, and even uglier for Joe Biden, who may not get over it at all. After two consecutive quarters of “Don’t Call This a Recession!” GDP contraction, growth had got up to more than 3 percent in the third quarter of last year, and then it declined to 2.6 percent in the next quarter
