Ever since we pointed out the branding and image consultants hired by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in April, 2022 as part of his national rebranding launch, we have faced some criticism from non-believers. [Go Deep] However, the truth has no agenda. The reality of the situation exists regardless of our comfort level.
ABC News is now reporting that Ron DeSantis will skip the exploratory committee phase and go straight into full campaign mode. However, the best part of the information provided from within the DeSantis operation is this, “the team has been paying close attention to how to help manage the governor’s facial reactions in the

Learn facial expressions? LOL Oh wait, are they serious? He's making a big mistake but I suspect he's being told Trump will be in jail come election day and he will be the next president. Not so fast, Ron. These are the people who have said 'we got him' for six years. No, they don't.

Sundance, we get it - you dislike everything DeSantis. But he's going nowhere in this election cycle, so please drop it and focus on the more important political issues of 2023: Biden family crimes, cash to the Ukrainian laundromat, election interference by our intelligence apparatus, CCP infiltration into our institutions...

#2 Today, Sundance is also covering Samantha Powers meddling in Mexico and the waiting rush of illegal aliens with the ending of Title 42. He also has a piece that continues his experience with the Feds over the false J6 supena they served him, and he shares lessons that can be of benefit to us all. His mission is to enlighten readers about the strings on the puppets and to shine the spotlight on the puppeteers. Not everyone knows DeSantis is going nowhere this election and they need to see the strings revealed. It's often uncomfortable for those enjoying the illusion when the strings are revealed and the backdrops fall exposing people holding the control bars. They need the information presented more than once.
It's great that you already know DeSantis is a meatball, but there's no need to rag on Sundance for staying on target. Just move on if you don't have anything positive to post. MAGA - Trump 2024

Sundance's obsession with attacking DeSantis is caused by his fear that the Govenor is much more of an of a effective speaker and debater. Also DeSantis did not let the bureaucracy and state employees sabotage his administration.
DeSantis knows how to kick deep state butts unlike Trump who appointed many of them in key jobs where they undermined his administration.

I like Trump and I also like DeSantis, and I hate it that people who pick either Trump of DeSantis as their dog in the fight need to trash the other. But I suspect the GOP will be eating their own instead of just focusing on the real threats to our Republic.

This is the kind of political fakery that has turned me off so badly. Classes to teach what lies to tell while maintaining plausible deniability. Classes to teach facial expressions. Classes on how to hide ones financial assets. There are no honest politicians. Just groomed crooks.

I'll just put my cards on the table. I don't think Trump has a ghost of a chance to win a general election next year. Why? Because just too large a portion of the electorate hates him and wants no part of the drama he is sure to bring to the race, They hate Trump even more than they are disappointed in Biden, who has the MSM /Big Tech Complex to cover for him.
It is all wrong and undeserved, as everyone here knows, but it seems to me to be the hard reality. It may be understandable to hope for a 2016 redux, but it is not going to happen.
So...in that case let us denigrate and destroy our brightest young talent for the sake of an illusion and at the behest of some internet Svengali. After all, DeSantis once shook hands with Jeb Bush at some ceremonial event, right? If that doesn't reveal his true colors, what else could? And accusations of manipulation by shadowy financial interests and string-pulling puppeteers (all of which have been debunked by the governor's ACTUAL PERFORMANCE in office) MUST be taken seriously because the Voice of the Internet says so.
The Stupid Party? Yep, the Stupid Party.

Good update by Sundance. It's up to DeSantis if he wants to run for president. I don't dislike the guy because I don't know the guy. If he runs, he runs.
Obviously, anyone in politics must be an effective communicator. There are three components to effective communication - 1) body language, 2), inflection in the voice while speaking, and 3) the actual spoken words. DeSantis seeks to improve the body language component because it carries the most weight amongst the three. His team recognizes this area as a major weakness in DeSantis' delivery. If DeSantis improves, he could become a viable candidate for president, like it or not. If he does not improve in this area, then best he sticks with his promise to represent the Florida voters as their Governor and lead their state forward.

DeSantis should have quit while he was ahead. He should have announced that he would take care of Florida until 2028 and then consider a run for the presidency. He would have retained his dignity and probably have been the top GOP candidate at that time. Now he's just another politician walking in Trump's shadow and steadily ending his career.

#9 is sure of one scenario but I am equally sure of the other. People who believe as I do are ignoring all of the hype, the polls, the distractions, the surveys and working to ensure that the immense popularity and wisdom of Donald Trump will overcome the democrat's efforts to cheat in 2024 and overcome the feeble performance of the GOP party. The leadership and pride generated by Trump from 2016 through 2020 was the best period I have seen in America's stance in the world. He had the respect and attention of all of our enemies and had the terrorists who hate us under his control. America's economy was growing, we were energy rich and crime was minimal everywhere except inside the democrat cities. America was working. I want that again and Donald Trump is still the best we have. The majority of us patriots know it and will continue to support him. MAGA

#9 Speaks the hard Truth. I voted for Trump twice and believe his 4 years as POTUS were astounding despite his big spending nature and failure to corral the Administrative State, and if I could wish it, he'd be back in the WH in 2025. But, Independents are draining both parties and that's not good news for Trump. His ego and childish attacks on any opposition including other Republicans will be his undoing.
If not now but in the future, DeSantis is a serious contender for President and Trump's scorched earth dialogue can only hurt us all. Trump should run on his record in comparison to Biden's failures. Sell Benefits not rehotoric.
Sadly, Trump's vitroil doesn't concern many of us on this thread as they attack any of us who may question Trump's tactics as heretics! Patriot First, Conservative Second, Republican Third!

Pretty funny. I live in Florida and I don't think there is anything wrong with The Governor's facial reactions because they are HIM! He's not putting on for the camera, he is authentic. I think the odds of anyone changing the Governor are about as good as anyone getting Trump to keep his Mouth Shut. He just loves to denigrate anyone who he thinks is beneath him! He should just show up for the Debates and make his case instead of name calling.

I was listening to the radio the other day. I’m sorry, I don’t remember which program, but Karl Rove was a guest and he was waxing eloquent about how Ron was working the crowd at an event, shaking hands, letting people take photos of him, engaging in one-on-one conversations with the little people. Now, I know that this is what politicians do, and some are better at it than others, but the way Rove was crowing about the governor’s behavior was creepy. He sounded like a proud father who had coached his son in little league. He sounded like a Svengali who feels he has been brought back into relevancy. Had DeSantis just been who he was without the handing, it would’ve been one thing, but Sundance is right in his observations on this guy. He is letting the GOPe make him into what they think is “electable,” but too many of us have now seen the puppet strings of the Republican Party, and we refuse to be fooled again.

What RDS’s sources told the media:
Sources said earlier this week that Trump plans to skip one or both of the first two Republican primary debates. But those close to DeSantis emphasized that they are preparing for either scenario, and are skeptical that the pair would not ultimately face off on the debate stage.
Still, sources said the governor's strategy heading into the debates will be more focused on introducing the governor on a national stage rather than getting into a sparring match with the former president. However, the team has been paying close attention to how to help manage the governor's facial reactions in the upcoming debate, sources said.

What is the old expression? If you can fake honesty, you have it made politically.
We find Sundance creditable.
We like Governor DeSantis as Florida's governor and think he's doing a terrific job. Didn't he promise his State he would
serve out his term? Why would he jump ship and leave Florida when he's doing such a great job for his people?
About running for president: Our question is? Why does he think he has to do this; facial expression classes?
or anything else? who is advising him? Karl Rove's team? fire those advisers!
Let DeSantis be DeSantis. If he is a real person, it will shine through. If he is something else, the public will see
through the charade. And lastly, what do the people who voted for DeSantis for governor, think about him running for president? Shouldn't they have a vote on what happens with their governor?

# 25, this Floridian who has voted for DeSantis twice does not want him to run for president this time. I object to all the unhinged vitriol thrown at him by people who should know better, but I know that nothing good - nothing good at all for either man - can come from a Trump DeSantis faceoff.

A little Salon history. When Sundance first came on the seen, our resident Bushies and Romneybots went all out to discredit him, similar to the comments here. All the more revealing. DeSantis is another Ivy League, tone deaf in the bubble uniparty stalking horse. Sound like Romney? Bush? At the end of the day it is populist conservatives vs the country club snobs of the republican party No ideas, no principles, but connections looking for a candidate to protect their useless positions in the decline of the American republic. Trump supporters know what they got. We aren't going to walk behind the establishment. They got us here.
The window of opportunity for DeSantis to improve his chances beyond 2024 by lending his support to Trump is closing quickly and he will be an afterthought in 2028. Paul Ryan waits his turn.

School is out. The football QB did not intend to ask the smart but fat girl to the prom. It was all a hoax by the bitchy cheer leaders and the other FB team members to embarrass two students. Did you have fun with it? That's what really matters. As for facial expressions: ADHD children find it useful to learn how to get along with others, and to decode what are otherwise facial expressions visible to the rest of the world. Think Sheldon Cooper (was that sarcasm?)

DeSantis’s team is focusing on the emotional/cultural issues that are plaguing us today which are valid points to make but RDS is not focusing as much on the hard issues of multinational corporations with a globalist bent, the ascendancy of China, alliances being formed that are hostile to us, and other critical foreign policies issues. As the article states, making an emotional connection is one that it harder to break than focusing on the difficult more complex issues of foreign policy and business as it relates to us. We all know that political consultants like many politicians have no great desire to pull the country away from cultural Marxism, their focus is making money and a name for themselves. It is all politics, all the time. These are not agenda driven individuals they are always looking to exploit an angle instead of having a solid set of core beliefs that have consistently shaped their thinking. This is a game for them which is unhitched from core values. Their sole motivation is making themselves powerful political oracles which is not the kind of people from which I would be taking advice.
Answer me this. Why would you challenge one of the most successful President’s in modern history in this political climate? This is not an ordinary Presidential election. The democrats are lawless and vicious and have shown they are capable of doing anything to retain power. The country is a hair’s breadth away from communism, American style. The power they want so desperately is to control us completely. Every policy is geared toward control of the population and it is the biggest threat to freedom we have ever faced. RDS cannot pull enough from Trump’s base to win. The base is loyal and that is the reason is why they will not be persuaded, it is a trust issue. The base trusts Trump and that factor is built into their vote. The only way we win is to get behind Trump in massive numbers. Democrats are going to cheat. Our only possible way to win is to go out in massive numbers and support Trump. Democrats may still win due to their insatiable lust for power along with their complete and utter disregard for the law, but Trumps gives us a chance.
We are being played by the establishment. They are the ones who will fight for the status quo to their dying breath and these are the same people who failed us during the Trump administration and in the elections of 2020 and 2022. When Trump won in 2016, they made it their highest priority to destroy him and like democrats, will do anything in their power to make that happen. I look back on what they have actually done for the American people and it is clear that they have used Republican voters in the same way democrats use minorities. They promise everything and deliver nothing. I am going with the guy who did what he said he would do. The opposition will do what the GOPe allows him to do. It will be the McConnell/McCain faction of the party in control again and the same old game playing will be commenced.
My advice to Ron DeSantis, put down your ego and make love of country your motivation. Join us. That is the way you have a chance to really make your mark on history. Patriotic Americans will go down fighting, not being puffed and fluffed by the consultant class who are puppets of the GOPe and have been instrumental into running the party into the ground.
