Regulators shut down New York City based Signature Bank on Sunday, a financial institution which had previously cut ties with President Donald Trump following the riot at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. (snip) On January 12, 2021, the bank told The New York Post that it had begun the process of closing Trump’s two personal accounts and “will not do business in the future with any members of Congress who voted to disregard the Electoral College.” According to the outlet, Signature also posted a “scathing statement” on its website slamming Trump stating, “We have never before commented on any political matter and hope to never do so again.”

No wonder Joe was quick to give them a bailout. This bank is a crypto bank, the currency they use is not backed by the US government. Most of those involved are fast-buck investors looking for big quick payouts through speculation. The people who actually use crypto are drug dealers, money launderers and crooks. Why again are these people at this Bawney Fwank bank being bailed out?

Just one of many poor decisions which led to the bank's closing. When you put your agenda over smart business decisions, this is what happens. Wonder who is next?

Everyone knows the FDIC limit on insured deposits. Once you abandon statutory procedures and start making it up as you go, uncertainty, chaos, and fighting for place in line is inevitable. The results will always fall on the taxpayers.

Surveillance photographs and video footage shows the 28-year-old transgender suspect who attacked the Nashville Christian school was using a carbine which fires pistol rounds, not an AR-15. The 28-year-old was armed with three firearms, and police photos of the guns show that an AR-15 was not one them. The firearms were an AR-pistol, a handgun, and a carbine. The type of carbine possessed by the attacker uses 9mm or .40 caliber handgun rounds.

The Supreme Court declined Monday to hear the appeal of a trial lawyer who was convicted after he secured a $9.5 billion judgment against Chevron in Ecuadorian court by bribing the judge. After Chevron sued Donziger in U.S. courts, U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan found his victory was “obtained by corrupt means,” citing in his 2014 opinion the fact that Donziger had bribed the judge and ghostwritten both the environmental report and the court opinion. In 2021, Donziger was convicted on civil contempt of court charges after failing to hand over his electronics to Chevron’s forensic experts, a conviction he appealed on separation of powers grounds, according to Reuters.

Fast forward to today, and a new class of cars has a similar problem. A minor accident can cause a total loss, even if the car’s been driven only a few miles. The only difference is that these cars aren’t cheap imports from some godforsaken socialist state. These are state-of-art electric vehicles that come with an average sticker price of $55,000.
