Weingarten addressed the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Tuesday morning regarding the aftermath of the school shooting that killed three children and three adults. After having a moment of silence for the victims, she reignited calls to ban "assault weapons." "Today, we renew our call for common sense gun safety legislation, including a ban on assault weapons.
