Jenna Ellis, an attorney who advised then-President Donald Trump as he tried to overturn the 2020 election results, was censured for misconduct Wednesday by a Colorado Supreme Court judge. The Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel said that Ellis violated a Colorado rule for professional conduct that prohibits “misrepresentation” by attorneys. The office said Ellis made a series of public statements about the 2020 election that were false. “The public censure in this matter reinforces that even if engaged in political speech, there is a line attorneys cannot cross, particularly when they are speaking in a representative capacity,” the office said in a statement.

This is simply a continuation of leftist lawfare. If you think bar associations are anything other than liberal mouthpieces, with a few exceptions, you're unfamiliar with modern legal practice. Their goal is to keep certain entities from obtaining legal representation through peer pressure.

Government mandated legalized voter fraud equals Fake Government! We do not have a government anymore. We have a criminal organization that calls itself a government. Criminals and law-abiding citizens are polar opposites. Criminals will portray law abiding citizens as criminals so the criminals aren't portrayed as criminals anymore.

When was it decided that the 2020 election vote total was definitely legitimate? There are dozens of affidavits signed my election observers that say otherwise. Does the fact that the evidence of fraud and the testimony of witnesses was never heard in any court make their claims of legitimacy true? I would imagine that Jenna Ellis has lived with badgering and harassment for the past two years which would lead anyone to qualify past statements to get these people off of their backs. Remember the doctors, scientists, and other professional's who have had their lives ruined because they "misled" the public by claiming that Covid19 virus came from the Wuhan lab. Others who treated patients successfully with Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin and then were not allowed to treat patients and were fired and vilified for telling the truth. How about those spreading "misinformation about the dangers of wearing masks all the time, the damage to kids from the shutdowns? Then there was misinformation about transmission, ridiculous edicts about what was "safe" like Whitmer's, "You can shop at Home Depot but you are not allowed to buy paint" or the LA mayor who allowed people on the beaches but only on the dry sand, not the wet sand? Don't even start on the lies about the "vaccine" and it's side effects. Who are the arbiters of "TRUTH" these days? They are absolute morons. Yes, those who are all in with "fender fluidity," who give "International Women's Day" awards to men in dresses, who think it's great to sexualize small children and who, continue to make the most ridiculous misrepresentation of all the Joe Biden, is vigorous and fully competent. Everything the"experts" claimed is being proven WRONG. How do the people who were harmed ever recover their lives and reputations?

Those who read the article will find that she folded, admitted “lying” after having represented the truth. Last month, Ellis’ lawyer had filed a stipulation agreeing to a public censure of his client and acknowledging 10 misrepresentations in the aftermath of the 2020 election, including repeatedly claiming that the election was stolen from Trump. Ellis also acknowledged misleading comments stemming from claims she made on Fox Business about affidavits from witnesses, voter intimidation and statistics that proved a “coordinated effort” to transfer votes from Trump to Biden. According to the signed stipulation, she made similar claims on Twitter.

Meanwhile, in California John Eastman, former dean and holder of an endowed chair of Constitutional Law at Chapman University Law School, is being prosecuted by the State Bar for his legal advice to President Trump. It consisted of a six-page memo (available on-line) of six "scenarios" for handling the Electoral College count in the House. Eastman recommended the third scenario, which by which Vice President Pence would pause the count for ten days, during which window of time states suspecting voter fraud could further investigate. If they found fraud, their legislatures could withdraw previous certification and certify a different group of electors, or alternatively stand pat. Regardless, his recommendation could hardly be called "an attack on our democracy," and in any event was ignored by Pence. The real "attack on our democracy" is a concerted attack on the First Amendment, by declaring all spoken opposition to the Democratic Party line to be off-limits. Because there has never been an audit of the 2020 election, I have no opinion on this subject--except to observe that all the other recent speech taboos (origin of the virus, side effects of Covid, vaccinating children, school closures, masks, the Biden laptop being Russian disinformation, etc.) walled off the truth in favor of the media-preferred false narrative.
