The Climate Scare Narrative Continues

Hot, cold, wet, dry, sunny, clear, snow, no snow – it doesn’t matter, it’s caused by global warming, the climate alarmists tell us over and again. Their desperation is palpable, the cords that keep them tethered to reality fraying more than ever, their charade coming apart. For more than 30 years, the crisis peddlers have carried the narrative that man’s carbon dioxide emissions are creating an existential threat. They’ve cajoled, bullied, lied, deceived, screeched and burned an immense volume of fossil fuels to get their hard-left agenda codified and executive ordered, and they have some successes to refer to. But their efforts have been, and always will be, useless.

We are more likely to be moving toward another ice age than have any significant increase in global temperature.

Yes, I recall "The Coming New Ice Age" and "Population Bomb" scares back in tbe 60s and 70s. They were duds so a new bogey man was needed. Our "leaders" create fears then convince us that they are the only ones who can save us. Otherwise we would not need to elect them. Man Made Climate Change!! and Russia, Russia, Putin, Russia!!!! have supplied thise fears for decades.Over those decades the scares have been prefaced with the indeterminates of could, may, might...and the doomsday timeline never definate but always extended -from 1990 to 2000 to 2020 to 2050. And the solution is always punishment for the masses but not for the oracles.

Folks - - I've posted this before - - but it's important enough to post again. Don't believe any of the "global temperature" stories - - none of them - - not even the "good" ones like this. It's impossible - - completely and totally - - to measure global temperature with any degree of statistically-reliable accuracy. The kind of accuracy reuired - - to within 1/50th of a degree - - to make reliable projections. Thes "experts" don't know - - and can't know - - what the "global temperature" is. It's just phony posturing and lies to make themselves seem important. A "pause" in global temperature growth? Utter nonsense! No one can know or measure that.

For the last 50 years, not a single one of their doomsday predictions has actually come to pass. With a track record like that they need to just shut up and go away. If they were true believers, they would remove themselves from the planet, but this has never been about saving the planet; it has always been about socialism.

It's not about fact. It's all about fear. With fear the left can implement anything. There are people that believe them, you seen some of them. They're wearing masks. And there are others who believe themselves to be morally superior because they have gone " green ". People capable of critical thinking know a scam when they see one and " green " is the biggest scam ever. It all about money and power for them and control over us. By the way , stamps have gone up 10% in the last year but there's no inflation. Forget about eggs.

Temperatures vary all over the Earth, within every country, city and even neighborhood. Right here where I live it was 7 deg. F. last week and will be 50 deg. F. today. Next week its back to cold. How can any govt. control what is happening. What is the ideal temperature for every place at any given time? Every square meter of the Earth would have to be monitored 24/7/365. And that's only 30% of the land surface. What about the remaining 70% of the Earth's surface? What is the ideal temp of all the water at every location and depth? One volcano eruption can change everything in a few hours and have years of lasting effects. Are these going to be controlled also, how, when. I need answers now and not computer generated estimates.

If you want to experience climatechange, just come to South Louisiana for one week. You'll get rain, drought, cold, hot, sunny, cloudy, stormy, a few hurricanes, flooding and even a chance for snow. Sometimes you can get it in a single day. We've lit the fire place in the morning, had the A/C on during the day, windows open in the late afternoon and the heater on for bedtime. That's normal for us and climate change for the rest of the country.

And, as they scream hysterically about oceans rising, Barack Hussein Obama has just built a 12 million dollar mansion on WATERFRONT property in Hawaii. Not only that, he has also installed a 2,000 gallon natural gas tank on the property. These hypocrites lead their lavish lifestyle while stealing taxpayer money in the name of climate change. It's never been about actual climate change, but about how they can use that topic to reduce the amount of pollution (air and water, mainly). I'll also bet that nearly no public bonds for infrastructure projects near the Coast areas have anything to say about climate change or rising sea levels in their prospectus. And, if their models are so accurate, why aren't they providing transparency? Because they like spewing out the phrase, and then fooling people into paying more $$$, and growing government employee numbers, who then vote to keep the gravy training rolling.

The climate change agenda suffers from two scientifc fallacies that would doom any other theory before the presenter could finish the opening sentence. Were I as a scientis to present this kind of "evidence" and data in any other field I would be stdiously (and rightfully) ignored. First, and most egregious, there is null hypothesis. A null hypothesis is essentially the control idea the testable and measureable question of what would happen should nothing disturb the system. Climate change is quite the opposite, the null hypothesis is both unmeasureable and un testable. The null hypothesis is what the result of the models predicts, which is also the result of the "experiments". there is no control dataset. Now this is a serious problem with studying such complex systems as an entire ecosystem. And a great deal of science is conducted under this no null hypothesis constraint but n those field it is completely understood that under our current understanding, no huge over all fully encompassing conclusions can be drawn. Those problems must be broken into much smaller pieces where controls can be defined and measureable data collected. Computer models do not [provide dataonly only conjecture, and conjecture plays little role in science. Second problem is that there is no way to disprove the theory. Ask any supposed scientist waht data presently possible to collect would disprove the hypothesis? There is none, the only data that they would accept is 100 years of real time data that contradicts the model. thats is ridiculous because if we wait 100 years to collect that data and it does actually show no temperature increase they would either attribute the result to their interventions and say that it actually proves their hypothesis or they would trot out that old grant writing chestnut that the problem demands more study. Any theory that cannot be disproven is not a theory because it is untestable. There is simply no data that any climate "scientist" would ever accept that contradicts the theory. That is not science, that is faith. There is a third problem, one even the IPPCC admits although they simply choose to ignore it. That is that the climate is a multivariable chaotic system. To the layman that just means it is complicated and difficult to understand. But the term is a scientific definition of the incredibly complex system that climate is and it has one huge implication. Scientifically, and mathmatically by definition, multi variable chaotic systems CANNOT be modeled. one of the defining attributes a chaotic system is that it is chaotic, unpredictable. In chaotic systems past data can be fitted to models because in any large data set patterns exist but those patterns themselves are random and do not have any predictive value. Think lottery numbers, whole books have been published analyzing trends in lottery numbers. But those past patterns cannot be used to reliably pick future random events. The climate is the same..

To #6: you're comment is spot-on, because when fear is sufficiently stoked, change is mandated. The kind of change is not nearly so critical to the end game as simply change...any kind of change. And change, whether it's mail-in ballots in response to a manufactured pandemic, a new world war in a country most people couldn't find on a map, or demonization of traditional energy in response to a manufactured climate crisis, means large sums of money being swapped around...and therein lies the opportunities that have made public servants like Biden/Pelosi/Schumer wealthy far beyond their meager govt compensation.

With a classified document scandal encircling him like a vulture waiting on a wounded animal to succumb to its injuries, Joe Biden’s chances to be a presidential candidate next year are closing in on nil. So who will be the Democrats’ flagship candidate? The smart money says it will be the foolish Gavin Newsom. The California governor wouldn’t be the only candidate, of course. A lineup for the primaries is likely to include, at the least, current vice president and former U.S. senator from California Kamala Harris, as well as previous candidates Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and U.S. Sens. Almost exactly two years ago today, the New York Times ran an article headlined: “Biden and Fed Leave 1970s Inflation Fears Behind.” That story has not aged well. Neither have the troika of ideologues and imbeciles behind the rebirth of ‘70s-era inflation. On Tuesday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that prices climbed 0.5% in January, which is up from December’s 0.1% hike. Prices were up 6.4% over the year before, which is higher than economists had been predicting and comes amid warnings that inflationary pressures are building again. This all comes one week after President Biden reassured the nation that “here at home, inflation is coming down.”

No question about it: Americans are hurting from the surging inflation that began early in President Joe Biden’s first term and that has persisted ever since. Indeed, as the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, a large majority of Americans now say the sharp rise in inflation has caused them financial hardship. With inflation running at an average annual rate of 8% last year and 4.7% the year before, Americans are feeling the pinch. In this month’s online I&I/TIPP Poll, taken Feb. 1-3 from 1,358 adults across the nation, we asked the following question: “How much of a hardship has inflation caused you and your family over the past two years?”

According to the official transcript of the speech, Biden was supposed to say: You may have noticed that Big Oil just reported record profits. State of the Union speeches are known for stretching the truth in some cases, and outright lying in others. President Biden’s speech, one of the longest ever, was filled with both. Case in point: Illegal immigration. Biden repeated he wants Congress to reform border security. In fact, what he really wants is to blame someone else for the deadly chaos he has created on our border. During Tuesday’s SOTU speech, rowdy Republicans yelled out, “Secure the border!” as Biden began talking about immigration. He responded, “you got it!” Were the Republicans rude? Perhaps a tad. But

The public health community is nothing if not determined to keep COVID on everyone’s mind, so much so that it is now playing up the alleged horrors of “long COVID,” the symptoms of which are vague enough that just about anyone could probably claim to have it. There is, however, a genuine long-COVID crisis. But it has nothing to do with the virus. At least not directly. It’s the fact that Democrats used the pandemic to quietly but dramatically expand government dependency, knowing that once in place, these expansions will be hard to uproot. Republicans, naturally, were clueless about what the left was up to. Take Medicaid.

Three years ago, before our miserable “leaders” made the worst public policy decision in history and told us to hide in our basements, nearly half of Americans thought their country, while politically divided, was moving in the right direction. Inflation was low, as were energy prices, and employment was high. The economy had been growing steadily until it was interrupted by panicked policymakers (most of them Democrats). According to U.S. officials, after takeoff, the spy balloon drifted east in the direction of Guam and Hawaii and then went north to Alaska and entered U.S. airspace on Jan. 28.
