ICYMI: Biden Just Admitted He’s Responsible

At about the mid-point of President Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech, he went off script. If you missed the importance of it, so did we, until we read about it on PJ Media. Because it confirms exactly what we’ve been saying was the real cause of high gas prices – namely, Biden’s war on energy. According to the official transcript of the speech, Biden was supposed to say: You may have noticed that Big Oil just reported record profits. Last year, they made $200 billion in the midst of a global energy crisis. It’s outrageous. They invested too little

Let the oil companies invest by completing the Keystone pipeline. The only thing President Joe Biden ever proves is that he is incompetent and irresponsible.

Unfortunately, this will likely change nothing with bidet biden's energy policies. The enemedia will just run cover for the empty headed sock puppet, and they'll continue to inhibit exploration and production of domestic oil.

The GOP needs to be much more aggressive in blaming the higher prices for nearly everything on the Democrats. They don't want to use our own natural resources, which not only creates jobs, but pays taxes to local schools, counties and states. How we have so much available, there should never be a shortage for hundreds of years. How we extract it in the most environmental and safe way anywhere in the world. How the target goals from the Paris Accord isn't until the year 2100 (77 years away). What he admitted, and was laughed at, was there needs to be a responsible and gradual shift but that the environmental groups that control Democrat policy, have pushed for irresponsible change.

I recall The HairSniffer bragging to a group that he "shut down all drilling in the US". When a young girl in the group asked about some drilling that was still being done, HairSniffer explained that "That was approved before I took office. We'll soon shut that down also." link: https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidblackmon/2022/11/07/biden-promises-no-more-drilling-just-days-after-demanding-more-drilling/?sh=7e40a94478e7 Shutting down domestic oil production, oil refining, natural gas production and coal production naturally increases the cost of those fuels, and the cost of everything that uses those fuels for production or to be transported. Presto, Inflation! Also, high fuel prices benefit Russia, and enables them to pay for their war in Ukraine. The Government taking its jackboot off the necks of the oil companies will increase supply, which will drive down fuel prices, which will drive down production costs for everything that uses fuel, and so will drive down prices 'across the board' in the US. It will also 'crimp the style' of Russia, Iran, and other hostile nations that depend on oil sales to finance their governments. All in all, a win-win for the USA....... so OF COURSE The HairSniffer will NOT do it!

While spending the country into ruin, President Joe Biden likes to portray himself as a fiscal conservative who has cut the deficit in half in the past two years. But a new report from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office shows just how big a lie this is — a 5 1/2 trillion dollar lie, to be exact. During his State of the Union speech last week, Biden not only claimed that “my administration has cut the deficit by more than $1.7 trillion — the largest deficit reduction in American history,” he also claimed that he’s a miser compared to Donald Trump. “Under

With a classified document scandal encircling him like a vulture waiting on a wounded animal to succumb to its injuries, Joe Biden’s chances to be a presidential candidate next year are closing in on nil. So who will be the Democrats’ flagship candidate? The smart money says it will be the foolish Gavin Newsom. The California governor wouldn’t be the only candidate, of course. A lineup for the primaries is likely to include, at the least, current vice president and former U.S. senator from California Kamala Harris, as well as previous candidates Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and U.S. Sens. Almost exactly two years ago today, the New York Times ran an article headlined: “Biden and Fed Leave 1970s Inflation Fears Behind.” That story has not aged well. Neither have the troika of ideologues and imbeciles behind the rebirth of ‘70s-era inflation. On Tuesday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that prices climbed 0.5% in January, which is up from December’s 0.1% hike. Prices were up 6.4% over the year before, which is higher than economists had been predicting and comes amid warnings that inflationary pressures are building again. This all comes one week after President Biden reassured the nation that “here at home, inflation is coming down.”

Hot, cold, wet, dry, sunny, clear, snow, no snow – it doesn’t matter, it’s caused by global warming, the climate alarmists tell us over and again. Their desperation is palpable, the cords that keep them tethered to reality fraying more than ever, their charade coming apart. For more than 30 years, the crisis peddlers have carried the narrative that man’s carbon dioxide emissions are creating an existential threat. They’ve cajoled, bullied, lied, deceived, screeched and burned an immense volume of fossil fuels to get their hard-left agenda codified and executive ordered, and they have some successes to refer to. But their efforts have been, and always will be, useless.

No question about it: Americans are hurting from the surging inflation that began early in President Joe Biden’s first term and that has persisted ever since. Indeed, as the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, a large majority of Americans now say the sharp rise in inflation has caused them financial hardship. With inflation running at an average annual rate of 8% last year and 4.7% the year before, Americans are feeling the pinch. In this month’s online I&I/TIPP Poll, taken Feb. 1-3 from 1,358 adults across the nation, we asked the following question: “How much of a hardship has inflation caused you and your family over the past two years?”

State of the Union speeches are known for stretching the truth in some cases, and outright lying in others. President Biden’s speech, one of the longest ever, was filled with both. Case in point: Illegal immigration. Biden repeated he wants Congress to reform border security. In fact, what he really wants is to blame someone else for the deadly chaos he has created on our border. During Tuesday’s SOTU speech, rowdy Republicans yelled out, “Secure the border!” as Biden began talking about immigration. He responded, “you got it!” Were the Republicans rude? Perhaps a tad. But

The public health community is nothing if not determined to keep COVID on everyone’s mind, so much so that it is now playing up the alleged horrors of “long COVID,” the symptoms of which are vague enough that just about anyone could probably claim to have it. There is, however, a genuine long-COVID crisis. But it has nothing to do with the virus. At least not directly. It’s the fact that Democrats used the pandemic to quietly but dramatically expand government dependency, knowing that once in place, these expansions will be hard to uproot. Republicans, naturally, were clueless about what the left was up to. Take Medicaid.

Joe Biden will ramble through his second State of the Union speech tonight and will tell us that all is well. But just like the blundering president, this nation is ailing. Three years ago, before our miserable “leaders” made the worst public policy decision in history and told us to hide in our basements, nearly half of Americans thought their country, while politically divided, was moving in the right direction. Inflation was low, as were energy prices, and employment was high. The economy had been growing steadily until it was interrupted by panicked policymakers (most of them Democrats). The country was at peace,

New Census data show that roughly half of the states had net gains in population in 2022, and the other half net losses, thanks to what’s called internal migration. The winners were almost entirely red states, the losers blue. There’s a huge opportunity for conservatives, if they seize it. Think about this migration trend for a minute. The map below shows the net migration of hundreds of thousands of people in 2022. (On this map, which is a screenshot from CBS News’ website, the redder a state the more people it lost, and the bluer the more it gained.) Notice

On February 9, New Jersey Italian restaurant Nettie’s House of Spaghetti, despite having a name that makes it sound like a children’s restaurant, issued a statement across its social media accounts that beginning in early March, they would no longer allow children under 10 to dine at the restaurant. The announcement made headlines and points to the perennial debate over whether banning kids under a certain age from eating at restaurants is reasonable. This debate is, of course, not new. There will always be a steady stream of new children coming to restaurants with their parents, and some of those children will act in accordance with their developmental tendencies.

Rush Limbaugh had a genius for talk radio, and part of that genius was that many people who never even met him felt that when he died, they lost a friend. The environmental disaster taking place in Ohio from a Norfolk Southern derailed train should outrage both sides of the political aisle. After the smoke clears, investigations will take place and most likely will show that there is plenty of blame to be shared, including all levels of government and both political parties. But at the moment, the complete lack of any significant response by the Biden administration is appalling and begs the question why an administration that is hostile to the free market and supports extreme measures to fight climate change is missing in action?

Congressional Democrats rolled out a spending proposal aimed at closing the racial wealth gap on Wednesday, which would give at least $1,000 to every American born after 2005. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) introduced the American Opportunity Accounts Act, which would federalize the use of 'baby bonds' for the country's youth to help fight wealth inequality. The program would be funded by raising estate and inheritance taxes. It would result in a major redistribution of wealth to middle and lower-income Americans. The lawmakers estimate that children in families on the lowest income levels would have roughly $46,000 by the time they begin college,

That is now an annual requirement. The aim is to deliver “equitable outcomes” for all Americans, including underserved communities, through government policies, programs, and services.

It isn’t a civil rights cause, it isn’t a new form of free expression, it isn’t a natural societal evolution. It’s insanity. And facilitating it, as in the case of the supposed “medical professionals” increasingly pushing it on children, is evil. We’re seeing this in more and more vivid detail as the transgender craze — and it is a craze, make no mistake about that — broadens and touches more and more lives. It’s becoming harder and harder to sustain the myth that chemical castrations and hormone baths and disfiguring surgeries lead to normal lives.
