U.S. military and intelligence agencies tracked the Chinese spy balloon for nearly a week before it violated American airspace last month, according to a new report.
As the U.S. monitored the balloon, it appeared headed for the U.S. territory of Guam. But the balloon was seemingly blown off course and instead ended up over Alaska’s Aleutian Islands before ultimately floating over the continental United States, the Washington Post reported.
U.S. officials are considering the possibility that China did not intend to send the spy balloon over the continental United States, but instead took advantage of the balloon being blown off course to surveil sensitive locations in Montana.

This is total BS, We might as well have Xi Jinping in the oval office. It wouldn't be any different. For that matter, most of the democrats in congress and other government jobs are democrat communists.

Put the UFO's together with the train wreck spewing toxic chemicals in the air and I'm pretty sure I saw this movie several years ago. Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Seems to me that the balloon retrieval game plan was more like the Afghanistan withdraw plan. Not very well thought out which is typical of our top level planers.
First we were told that it was not a threat. To make that statement someone had to know what the payload contained and not guess or hope what was contained in the package. Of course it was a threat, but not a physical threat.
Scoping out the physical layout and communications abilities of our ICBM defenses is really a threat even if the milk toast woke generals (Milley) can't see that, but moving on. You have to assume it would be in our best interests to be able to examine the payload of the balloon to see what it really contained.
What did our generals do (maybe at the orders of the Chinese Communists)? They finally ordered it blown to smithereens by a powerful Sidewinder missile ($450K) over the ocean where the Atlantic currents could disperse hardware hither and yon, or dissolve the contents into the ocean. Remember they don't know what it it at the time.
Then on the next occurrences they lost the packages in some tough rugged country.
I would suggest that in the future the plan would be to reduce the balloon or whatever the propulsion vehicle is to a slow decent without demolishing the payload -- maybe by puncturing the balloon with a small hole. And having a bevy of chase planes follow the object to the ground and having the slower chase planes drop trail or signal beacons around the drop area so it could be recovered with more certainty by standby helos. After chasing the object for a while they would have a good projection on it's intended path and could position the chase planes and helo before they were needed.
This will never happen of course as long as Biden or his red handlers are calling the shots.

Now we're supposed to believe that our government calmly WATCHED for a WEEK as the alleged balloon drifted aimlessly around and then when it didn't head to Guam (how did we KNOW Guam was a destination?) we just sat on our hands to see where it might meander or dawdle to next. And while all this was going on in such a relaxed manner, Biden & team were kicking back, idly amusing themselves as they watched the alleged balloon travel hither and yon.
We never demanded an explanation from the Chinese? That's a total crock, unless we knew it wasn't a Chinese balloon.
Do you realize after all of this hoopla, we STILL have no verifiable proof that there even WAS a balloon? What we have a a couple disjointed videos that could be anything, really, from anywhere, any time.
We're supposed to believe this nonsense, why?? Because the government and the media say so?

A mis-quided guided spy balloon, yeah right. Who comes up with this Kaakaa? It's as believe as Santa's Workshop at the North Pole. Try again DOD, this time be a bit more creative. Don't forget that Xi's Spying Balloon Command knows what they are doing.

Is this the Chinese or their guy saying this. Somehow I believe the CCP sent the balloon over the US and maneuvered it over sensitive US sites. I can’t believe it just happened to wander there.

Follow the money....I'll bet when it all comes out the balloon and equipt was financed at least partially with USA dollars as part of the Green Nude Eel global studies. Similar to the Covid gain of function stuff. It actually makes sense to sample atmospheric gases and temps generated in China, where they go, what other nations they effect...the path of this balloon alone is enough to PROVE that china's massive plume of pollution exacerbates the readings attributed to the USA. It was basically 12 miles up...a territorial limit, well above any normal aircraft ceiling, and above most anti aircraft defense ceilings. Already reports show that it contained several "Made in USA" parts and pieces.

What is the difference between Guam, USA or the Continental USA being targeted by the Chinese Communist surveillance balloon and payload? As the island of Guam is a U.S. territory that also has big and important military bases that are much closer to Communist China then such bases in the Continental USA.

First it was no threat... then it may be a weather balloon.. then we shot it down after a week in the air... then it happened during the Trump years too, now China had no intention of flying over the US??? The only reason we know about the balloon is a reporter took photos...One thing for sure no criticism from Biden about China...he's too busy criticizing Trump supporters.
