Hunter Biden has begun an aggressive counterattack against his accusers by asking the Department of Justice to open a criminal investigation into Trump allies who he claims illegally accessed the computer he abandoned and left at a Delaware repair shop. Biden’s lawyers are also suing Fox News host Tucker Carlson for making “false and defamatory claims” that Biden’s son had access to classified documents stored at his father’s home. This salvo from Hunter Biden represents a new White House strategy that will play out during all the investigations into the president, his son, and Democrats as Republicans ramp up a long list of investigations now that they have control of the House.

Recently an unarmed 29-year-old African American, Tyre Nichols, was brutally beaten to death by five Black Memphis police officers. They were charged with murder. All belonged to a special crime unit known as the Scorpions.
Both the victimizers and victim were Black. The Memphis police chief is Black. The assistant police chief is Black.

On Wednesday morning, Joe Biden’s attorney Bob Bauer revealed that the FBI is in the process of searching the president’s vacation house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Agents are reportedly hunting for additional classified documents.
“Today, with the President’s full support and cooperation, the DOJ is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Delaware,” Bauer said in a statement. “Under DOJ’s standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate.”

Donald Trump is not stupid.
His opponents have always underestimated him because of the colloquial way he talks–sounding vastly different than most people in the highly educated class. Not sounding educated, they assume he isn’t and by extension isn’t smart.
But in recent weeks Trump has been acting as if he is stupid, and I have to say I am surprised.
Trump has been attacking Ron DeSantis on the COVID lockdown issue, arguing that the governor’s reputation as a freedom fighter is unearned. Trump even implies that DeSantis was something of a COVID fascist, while Trump himself was fighting to reopen the American economy.
That is a profoundly stupid line of attack.
