Feb. 1 marks the 37th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day, which celebrates the achievements and progression in women’s athletics since the implementation of Title IX. In the past few years, however, women’s sports have been threatened, as male-bodied “transgender” athletes have made their way onto women’s sports teams, and in some cases, even into their locker rooms.
One athlete, Riley Gaines, competed against Will “Lia” Thomas, a biological male athlete who began identifying as a transgender woman during college. Thomas competed on the men’s swim team for three years at the University of Pennsylvania. But, senior year, Thomas began competing

So-called feminists have no real concerns about women or woman's rights. It's a ruse. Their whole objective is to Cloward-Piven everything good and worthy into something unrecognizable and unholy, creating chaos in everything. They're leftists; their goal is to destroy.

My solution!!??? If I were a women's coach I'd stand behind them if, and after, I suggested that they refuse to race against any transgender male!!
These policies are a disgrace to WOMEN!!!

How sick do you have to be to buy into this transgender BS. Want to compete in women’s sports? Go cut off all your junk for starters......something these guys don’t seem to want to do.

Those women who dove into the pool with William Thomas betrayed themselves. One can never recover from self betrayal. They should have let him swim his events ALL BY HIMSELF. Render the event moot and ridiculous. This BS has to stop.
By the way, where's wee Willy now? Is he still girly or has he detransitioned?

Since this Title nine was enacted, many colleges eliminated men's sports so that women's programs could continue or start. So, the guys who want to participate in college sports are left out in the cold. Never mind that it's the men's programs that generate money for the school and enable women's programs to survive.

Thomas' teammates and opponents HAD their chance to take a stand - but didn't. He should have practiced and competed ALONE. Sadly, that opportunity has passed. Ladies! Take a stand or forever shut up. It is almost too late to 'take your seats at the front of the bus'.

Swimmers who refused to compete in protest of a trans swimmer risked losing their scholarships. I blame coaches, athletic administrators and especially the NCAA.

At the Georgia High School Association, a boy just won the girls swimming trophies. He couldn't make it competing with other boys. On top of that he is now entering the Naval Academy.

The only way that the female athletes can stop this is to FLAT REFUSE to compete if a man-pretending-to-be-woman is let in.
When there cannot be an event....the female athletes WIN. They miss out on that event, yes, but they will win.

I would think anyone with certain levels of testosterone in their blood would be disqualified from female sports. I see no difference between natural testosterone, and the same introduced into a female, which is not allowed by any female sports organization.

I blame the coaches and administrators who want to win so bad they'll allow a boy or man to compete in women's sports, knowing that they'll sweep the boards. The more they win, the better jobs and more pay they're offered. After a year or two, no one will remember how they won and they'll be lauded as miracle worker coaches.

They need to create a third category for sports. Men, women, and Whatever's.

Golly gee whiz, we're so sorry! After decades of "feminists" braying about "equality," "glass ceilings", "male privilege," ad nauseam, you finally got what you demanded--EQUALITY WITH MEN! Not "separate but equal," but COMPLETE EQUALITY TO COMPETE WITH MEN ON AN EVEN PLAYING FIELD! And you found out you can't cut it, so you go whining and sobbing and pouting back to your little girly enclave, where you get to win trophies while competing exclusively against other females. So what you are telling the world is that women aren't the equal of men. Thanks for your refreshing honesty. Now, can we all accept that this is true ACROSS THE BOARD? Stop pretending the women ought to be able to do everything that men do. Men certainly cannot do everything that women do, all the "transgender" BS to the contrary. Men can't have babies, men are not mothers, women are not fathers and chemical and surgical alterations to the body do not and never will make these truths go away. All of the rhetorical nonsense that has been spouted by the feminist movement's apologists is simply that: nonsense. Reality can never be altered merely by spouting words to the contrary; that is why it is called "fiction" in the literary world. "Fiction" is no less unreal when applied to real life.

To: Subsubrban - although I agree with some of your points, as a woman I am tired of hearing that women should be willing to compete with men if they merely suggest that women ought to have a bit of equal opportunity in the sports arena. To turn the concept into women competing directly agiant men is ludicrous. It would be just as silly as saying fly weight boxers should compete with the Mike Tysons and Muhammed Ali boxers in the arena. Using this logic we ought to eliminate all weigh requirements in wrestling and boxing, etc.
Where I agree with you is in the silly 'rules' that insist that men and women receive equal amount of dollars for the sports programs. Some of the women's events are ridiculous. It is a fact that men and women are different both in body and in interests. High school girls seem to love the 'dance' contests, Most boys would never participate in such events. So, I see no reason that girls get to have total equality to the pont that they have the right of compete in HS in wrestling. Why cannot we all be sensible? God created male and female in all creation to allow for procreation. Men and women are different for a reason.

Hey real women, why do you even compete, you should sit on the track, block it, and protest!
