No Apologies Over Paul Pelosi

Apologize for what? "My gosh, I was always telling fake stories about wolves and calling the people I was telling them to 'racists,' and then some wolves really have shown up, and none of those racists believe me!" So, the authorities finally got around to releasing the 911 call and bodycam footage from the Paul Pelosi hammer imbroglio, and now the left is demanding an apology from everyone who refused to accept the regime's twisted, Swiss-cheese narrative about the whole attack. While there are still unanswered questions – which no one would be asking if the regime media had not tried to blame conservatives for the

There is still plenty that is very weird about this; he was grasping the handle of the hammer with one hand and was holding a drink in the other hand. It is still not clear how he opened the door and why he did not flee from the attacker. It also looks like Pelosi is smiling during the incident. If this dangerous attacker let him use the phone, go to the bathroom, and fix himself a drink, why Pelosi did not leave the house. If this happened to a normal man and not a prissy liberal, instead of fixing a drink the homeowner would have retrieved a weapon and neutralized the threat.

Why so secretive if the video was so in line with the official narrative? Or, did it just take this long to create an entirely new fake video that perfectly matched the narrative?

My take on the video and the photo included in the article - it looks to me like Pelosi has his right hand on DePape’s rear end and a drink in his left hand. He’s not touching the hammer at all. And I noticed that the police bodycam shows Pelosi falling to the ground but then we only see his torso and his legs lying on the floor. No view of his head. Which makes me think that he wasn’t injured at all and his showing up in public with a hat and glove supposedly covering his injuries was meant to cover the places where he was not actually injured. Other suspicious parts to the story - there was never any statement from a doctor or the hospital about his condition and there was no video of him being taken to the hospital or returning home. Surely, by the time he was released, his home would have been swarming with media and the video of his return would have been the lead in every media source. I think he holed up at their Napa Vineyard until the whole story was pretty much silenced.

The only people who should apologize are the nit wits who even now still believe, or claim to believe, that a multi-millionaire, father of five and grandfather would hire or pick up at a bar an obese, ugly and insane loser from Berkeley for sex. So glad that the video of DePape smashing the Pelosi door, the 911 phone call and the body cam were belatedly released putting an end to the ridiculous theories swirling around. Shame on the SF cops for not releasing them sooner and shame on the Democrats for trying to make hay on the fractured skull of an old man whose only crime is being married to Nancy Pelosi.

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) If the Chinese balloon thing was a mini dress rehearsal for World War III, we may want to form some Mandarin study groups. Those of us who live here in reality have long dreaded finding out how the cabal that runs Joe Biden’s brain would react to any kind of international tension. The way Team Pudding Brain went about things these last several days wasn’t a comfort. My colleagues were all over it, so let’s peruse some of what they covered. As Joe Biden faces the fallout of his poor handling of the Chinese spy balloon, the effort to rewrite history is already underway. Soon after the balloon was shot down on Saturday, Biden claimed the order to shoot it down was given on Wednesday. “I ordered the Pentagon to shoot it down on Wednesday as soon as possible,” Biden told reporters. “They decided without doing any damage to people on the ground, they decided that the best time to do that was when it got over water outside within a 12 mile limit.” “I told them to shoot it down on Wednesday,” Biden later added, clearly wanting to make sure that this factoid

After a U.S Air Force F-22 Raptor shot down the Chinese surveillance balloon with a sidewinder missile on Saturday, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin issued an alternative-universe statement in which he lauded Joe Biden’s commitment to “always put the safety and security of the American people first.” No, really. We’ll get back to that silliness in a bit. Austin began by suggesting the “commander in chief” — I put that in quotes because Biden is pretty much not the commander of anything — was in charge from the outset. This afternoon, at the direction of President Biden, U.S. fighter aircraft assigned to U.S. Northern Command successfully brought down the high-altitude surveillance balloon

Community activists in Houston are calling for a restaurant patron who shot and killed a robbery suspect during a holdup to be arrested, saying he went beyond self-defense despite many calling him a hero. Customers were eating inside a local taqueria when 30-year-old Eric Eugene Washington entered and pointed a pistol at them and demanded cash. As he gathered the cash, an armed patron can be seen on surveillance video getting up from the booth he was sitting in and shooting his pistol at Washington multiple times. We saw in Joe Biden’s reaction to the Chinese spy balloon what a problematic leader Joe Biden is, if we didn’t already know it. The balloon wasn’t taken out when it first entered American airspace on Jan. 28, off the waters of Alaska. That was when you would think Biden would take the “water shot,” but the military said they didn’t have it. Then it went over Alaska, where there are huge expanses of unoccupied land. Again, no shot. It went over Canada and then entered the U.S. again on Tuesday, January 31. According to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, that’s when Biden was apprised of what was going

Three years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing masks in public. I try not to judge people when I see someone wearing a mask; after all, the person may have a legitimate need to wear a mask. But what I’ve noticed is that there seem to be a lot of healthy younger people — teenagers and people in their early 20s — who wear masks often, and I have a difficult time understanding it. I’ve had a theory about this phenomenon for some time. I think some people like to keep masking because it makes them feel anonymous. I’m convinced that some people

What we are witnessing in Ukraine, and perhaps in a future conflict in Taiwan, is a new model for fighting Cold War 2, one in which the belligerents tacitly agree to fight but only within designated foreign borders. The process of delimiting the allowable combat area has so far been a complex exercise in signaling. For example, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev recently tried to draw some Red Lines: “If Ukraine tries to strike at Crimea, there will be retaliatory strikes, all Ukraine remaining under Kyiv’s rule will burn. The response in the event of strikes in the Crimea and deep into Russia will be quick, tough and convincing.

During that appearance, Buttigieg claimed that Joe Biden is just so wildly successful as president that his accomplishments cannot be easily distilled — hence Biden’s low approval ratings. Yes, Mayor Pete actually said Biden is extremely unpopular because he’s too good at his job. Buttigieg rambled out a justification of the Biden administration allowing an apparent Chinese spy balloon to cross the U.S. before shooting it down over the ocean (where, quite conveniently, no one can pick up tell-tale debris as enlightening evidence).

After all, Rush was “documented almost always right 99.7% of the time.” He was a compass that always pointed the precise bearing to truth. He was the constitutionalists’ loadstar.
