Hunter Biden is going on the offense with his lawyers now asking the Justice Department to investigate former President Donald Trump's allies, who peddled his laptop's hard drive to media outlets in the run-up to the 2020 election.
The first son's lawyer Abbe Lowell asked the DOJ to probe former Trump strategist Steve Bannon, campaign lawyer and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Giuliani's lawyer and the owner of the Wilmington computer repair shop, John Paul Mac Isaac, who obtained the laptop in April 2019.

By the agreement he signed at the computer shop, that computer became property of the shop owner after so many days. He lost ownership including the content. I’m guessing this is just a stall tactic hoping a liberal judge will file an injunction and stop use of the data.

Reminds me of the classic definition of chutzpah. Killing your parents and then asking for mercy because you are an orphan.

Isn't a bit ironic that as soon as things start focusing on his possible access to his demented dad's stash of classified documents Hunter demands DOJ investigate Trumps allies for the peddling of information from the laptop he had abandoned. This is an often used Democrat stately when things aren't looking good. It's called diversion and the stooges in the media are willing accomplices. The DOJ and FBI have proven to the American people that they have been politicized and corrupted by the Democrats and RINO's. We know they only conduct raids against Trump or those that support him. Comey let Hillary off the hook for her possession of classified information on her computer, and Wray is letting the Biden crime family off the hook. No middle of the night raids at Joe's house! Wrays agents hunted down the January 6th "insurgents" but won't lift a finger to hunt down the domestic terrorists from Antifa and BLM. You remember the ones that burned down and looted major American cities. I thought the motto of the FBI was "Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity". I call BS on that!

Turning his criminal activity on his laptop into those bad people who exposed it is called "blame others and not take responsibility for your actions." Not the brightest response; but then again he's a chip off the old Biden block.

It's like being caught on film burning down a house with people inside then complaining about your privacy rights when one of the survivors posts the video.

In spite of the FBI's best efforts, it's out there, Hunter. You abandoned it. Now deal with it.

So by doing this he admits it is his and now all the crap, plus the classified docs and references to info in those docs all come to roost on him and daddy Joe! Thanks Hunter!

“Okay, so I DID do it but it’s YOUR fault.” Addicts stop growing emotionally when they have their first drug (alcohol included) experience. Hunter has been hammered since High School. Now, even for High School, Hunter is pretty immature but his stunted development isn’t only due to his addictions; he has also been hobbled by his father’s coddling.

Hunter may have “freelanced” this move because now the laptop is legitimate. No more “Russian Collusion, fake news, etc… I’m sure the Jihad Junta is not happy.

Every single day that they continue to draw breath, the Bidens and the Clintons are living proof that it is not what you do but who you know that decides justice in this country. There can be no rule of law until ALL of them are behind bars..

it's a replay of the bill clinton days when the idea [was when you're wrong, deny everything and then you attack the accusers] (or something like that) - it worked out well for clinton so, pea brain biden, the young one, took a chance, we'll see what happens and if the commie media will work to exonerate him

Hunter did not go back and pick up the computer. He no longer owned the dang thing. Also, the shop owner,BY LAW, had to report the porn that he found on the computer. He followed the law. Reported it. Typical of the bidens. don't take responsibility for your actions.

Democrats hijacked the resources of the United States government to promote the false narrative that the "Laptop from Hell" was Russian disinformation. That sounds like corruption.
Multiple media outlets, when offered access to the hard drive, refused to touch it. Instead, they opted to report government propaganda. Doing their own homework was apparently asking too much of today's "journalists." They turned down an offer to see for themselves what the hard drive could teach them.
Sadly, uncovering and reporting the truth takes integrity...which seems to be in short supply in the legacy networks.

When Richard Nixon was President, the Supreme court ruled on whether or not trash was still the property of the person who tossed it. The court ruled that trash is trash and is essentially public domain.

Oh this is delicious...he's been caught and now the doj is gonna slow walk it through the court system...the damage has been done...America knows what he did and nothing any government politician can say will call back the story....the lawyers can pull all the names they want...he left it at the computer shop and it became the property of the owner when he didn't show up to claim it....therefore it was not his anymore....let's set up a disposition and show all the pictures of him in embarrassing poses with prostitutes...with his "package " on display...

I disagree that this dirties the media. For once they did the right thing, revealing scandalous behavior and probable criminal activity by a vice president, now president. Hunter’s sabre-rattling lawyers know that. You cannot indeed unring the bell.

I wonder if the FBI and DOJ can ever be brought back to being honest and impartial again? I would think the same for the IRS which has been used for years as a weapon to go after opposing party members. I see this as an important reason to vote for Trump. He is the only Republican who has ever had the courage to fight back, and he is strong. I think he would be better in a second term in the white house because he is now aware how vicious and deep the corruption is. He trusted people he should not have trusted, but not being a politician or DC insider, he did not realize the degree they would go to break laws and destroy the country to get him out.

Interesting that his lawyers would open this can of worms to the public. What does he have to gain? His Daddy already runs all of the institutions that could release information on him. That won’t be happening. The Republican’s options are limited. So why doesn’t he just shut up?

This is not as good an article as the one at Epoch Times because this one was written by former USA Today anti-Trumper, Nikki Schwab.
For example, Katabella Roberts writes for ET that they are also going after Tucker Carlson for his reporting that Hunter paid about $50K rent to the Big Guy for rent. Hunter’s lawyers said there were no facts to support this. Right. Hunter hiimself entered that on a statement of his expenses for some financial purpose. He lied so it wasn’t in fact rent of Wilmington. But he did state that he was paying it.
He’d had expensive office space in a flashy building. The lease ended. There was a plan to put his office in the Wilmington residence. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to seer him transferring the $ rent figure on paper from the flash office he’d had to the Wilmington residence “office”. The Bidens are masters of “watch my hands”...
