A Biden judicial nominee was unable to answer basic questions about the U.S. Constitution posed by Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., during a Senate hearing on Wednesday.
Judge Charnelle Bjelkengren, of Spokane County Superior Court in Washington State, was nominated by President Biden to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. During her confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Bjelkengren could not answer Kennedy's questions about what different parts of the U.S. Constitution do and how courts might interpret laws.

When law schools enlist marxists to teach a version of deconstructed Constitutionalism. When no real history is taught to kids graduating from High school, you have nominees who get their politics from captain planet and echo chambers of liberal thought. Ninth amendment? Tenth amendment? Ten commandments? United States bad, United Natoins good. Opposing points of view evil.

Did any of the nominees go to law school? Did they not know the answers in law school? Did any of the nominees take Civics in school? Jeesh, those legal scholars (I use this term very, very, loosely) have any clue about the law other than making up laws? The answers to the above questions are yes, no, no, no and hell no. But they all check the Democrat identity boxes. We are f#$%@d!

Judge Charnelle Bjelkengren’s law school diploma is not worth the cost of the paper it is printed on. According to her Wikipedia page, she never practiced law. Her Wikipedia page did include an account of her ignorance of the Constitution and the law. Those details were deleted within the last five minutes.

How much verbal diarrhea can these tools spout? When you don't know, how about "I don't know". Did any of these people graduate Middle School?

Not a problem. Understanding the constitution is not on the FJB list of qualifications. I mean we have a Supreme Court judge you cannot define a woman.

Not picked because she knows the Constitution, but because she does NOT know the Constitution. Just had to know how to follow orders.

I watched the video. I was embarrassed for them. It’s pretty disgusting the level of ignorance of these candidates.

Biden, a Democrat, announced eight nominations, as well as the intended nomination of Washington State Superior Court Judge Charnelle Marie Bjelkengren to the Eastern District of Washington, where she would be the first Black woman to serve as a judge in the state and the first woman of color in the district.

Katie Porter has an opportunity to badly damage Schiff. But just as Bernie Sanders played nice with Hillary, I doubt Porter will lay a glove on pencil neck. Schiff is an anointed ruling class democrat. Lower echelon dems are required to show deference.

Wow. These are basic questions and to be unable to answer them would totally embarrass most people, not so for a democrat! They actually believe their political affiliation is all that is required. A (D) after their name is mighty powerful until it is not and they get embarrassed on national TV. This is shameful and proves democrats are only interested in promoting one of their own even if that person is totally unqualified. I am sure there are better nominees out there. Maybe not considering their leader is a lying incompetent and he doesn’t set the bar that high.

She's a lefty, or Joe wouldn't have proposed her, so she doesn't EVER think that the Constitution has anything to do with anything.

Who recommended Judge Bjelkengren for the position? Must be a family member, Kamala, or friend of a friend. She got a great education - must have been free.

"In all the years I have been a judge, no one has ever asked me that question, so I have no answer."
Seriously?
