Ted Cruz Challenges the Sale of Oil to

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced a bill that would ban the Biden Administration from selling oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserves (SPR) to the communist country of China. Titled, Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act, the House bill passed in a bipartisan vote of 331-97, with 113 Democrats voting in favor of the bill. [snip] Last year, the House Oversight Committee reported that the Biden DOE sold over nearly a million barrels of SPR oil to Unipec America, which is a company owned by the CCP. A deal that Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, made a profit from.

Good idea but seriously Joe will veto it because it would mean no commissions for Hunter and no cut for The Big Guy.

If the Chinese can buy Hunter Biden’s oil paintings, why can’t they buy our oil? And if the communists are willing to pay $500,000 for just one of the schlock pieces in the Biden collection, they will surely pay enough to provide the 10% markup Joe requires.

China can go purchase oil off their Iranian friends. Not one drop of American oil. Biden is doing everything he can to create an oil shortage in this country, and to make it as bad as it could get. After all, the United States shouldn't use fossil fuels. They are destroying the planet. If Biden really believed that, he wouldn't sell our oil to anyone.

A Biden judicial nominee was unable to answer basic questions about the U.S. Constitution posed by Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., during a Senate hearing on Wednesday. Judge Charnelle Bjelkengren, of Spokane County Superior Court in Washington State, was nominated by President Biden to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. During her confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Bjelkengren could not answer Kennedy's questions about what different parts of the U.S. Constitution do and how courts might interpret laws.

Does Jeff Bezos love football more than he loves newspapers? That’s a question getting tossed around the nation’s capital as its NFL franchise hits the block. Chatter is growing that Amazon’s billionaire founder is looking to clear the way for a purchase of the Washington Commanders by selling the Washington Post — with speculation boosted last month by leaked video of publisher Fred Ryan disclosing layoff plans at an unruly town hall meeting. The problem for Bezos reportedly is that the Commanders’ embattled owner, Dan Snyder, is still sore over the storied newspaper’s series of exposes alleging a toxic management culture at the team

The $1.7 trillion omnibus bill has passed congress, and it’s such a dumpster fire that it wasn’t even technically ready for the president’s signature. No, I’m not kidding. Congress apparently passed a bill that wasn’t prepared to be signed. They then had to pass another continuing resolution to keep the government running in the meantime. If that’s not the perfect metaphor for how awful our federal government is, then one doesn’t exist.

President Biden on Wednesday told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that he was the "Man of the Year" during a meeting between the two world leaders at the White House. During the sit-down, Biden reinforced that the U.S. stands with the people of Ukraine, as well as Zelenskyy, whom Biden said was a "great leader." "And by the way, we have a famous thing that occurs once a year, we pick the ‘Man of the Year’ in TIME magazine — you were the ‘Man of the Year’ in the United States of America, so welcome, we have a lot to talk about," Biden said before opening the floor to Zelenskyy.

Twitter has certainly been an interesting place since Elon Musk’s acquisition of the company. Verification has become a paid service, causing widespread panic among the privileged who want to keep their status symbol exclusive. Then there’s been the fact that the social media site now allows a wide range of opinions that were formerly disallowed, which has the left, in general, losing its mind. But the most entertaining aspect of Twitter hasn’t been happening on the platform itself. Instead, it’s been happening among the company’s employee base.

A New York Times poll revealed that the Democratic candidate was leading the Republican candidate, 44 to 38. Another New York Times poll, taken days before the election, showed the candidates were running about even nationally. The results were horribly wrong. For New York voters, the Republican candidate won 47 to 44. Nationally, the candidates were far from even. The Republican defeated the Democrat 51 to 41. This wrong prediction was from 1980 and the presidential election between President Jimmy Carter and then-Republican nominee Ronald Reagan, and it's indicative of the unreliability of polling.

McDaniel fended off two challengers — California attorney Harmeet Dhillon and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, a staunch denier of the 2020 presidential election results. She received 111 votes, while Dhillon received 51 and Lindell received four. Former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.), who did not ultimately make a run for RNC chair, also received one vote.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and confirmed WEF goon Chrystia Freeland has determined that the American middle class “needs a pay cut.” Following an anecdote of an unnamed person who gave her the idea, she explicitly confirms her belief that the prescription for a middle-class wealth downgrade is the correct policy position but mentions the “very difficult” political and social sell to the middle class. As we slide further down the slope into multinational technocracy, the rhetoric will gradually shift in this direction. The “green” revolution and veganism and other energy and food restriction schemes began, if you can recall, with promises of economic expansion

On the other hand, I’m shocked by the disclosure that the Empire is staffed by such moral and intellectual lightweights. Though incredible, it appears that the subject of O’Keefe’s latest sting, Jordon Walker, really is a Pfizer Director of Research & Development Strategic Operations. Here he is giddily talking about deliberately mutating SARS-CoV-2 by means of “directed evolution” in order to keep Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine gravy train going.

The Biden administration is facing some scrutiny over a proposal to change the way it racially/ethnically classifies federal employees. At the moment, anyone of Middle Eastern or North African descent only has the option of identifying/being classified as “white.” Were the administration’s proposal to be approved, these individuals would instead have the option of identifying as Middle Eastern or North African. The proposal would accomplish this by rewriting the Office of Management and Budget 1997 Statistical Policy Directive No. 15: Standards for Maintaining, Collecting, and Presenting Federal Data on Race and Ethnicity (SPD 15).
