Maxwell Frost, the first member of Generation Z to be elected to Congress, said he will likely couch surf during his first days as a lawmaker in Washington, D.C. because he was denied apartment applications.
Apartment buildings in Washington, D.C. conduct credit checks and most require tenants to make triple the monthly salary that the apartment costs.
Frost, who will make a yearly salary of $174,000 as a House congressman, said that he was denied apartment applications because of his 'really bad' credit.
'Yeah, I mean, it's not cheap,' Frost, 25, told ABC's This Week on Sunday morning.

It's funny how all the left-wing Congressmen keep their purses shut tight when one of their own needs a place to live. He could always find a pad in the Southeast quadrant of DC. Lots of ''affordable housing''.

He’s black. He’s irresponsible. His credit is already bad. So let him share the curb with the homeless. What kind of American would vote for this bozo?

FTA: ''Many Washington, D.C. residents have felt the weight of increasing costs of living over the last several years.''
Right. But it hasn't bothered a single soul out here in Flyover Country, has it? You Washington pigs are never happy. Resign and get a real job.

Why doesn’t he just go for another “first”? Clearly we need a first homeless Congresscritter to ensure appropriate diversity, equity and inclusion. And he will then be able to hoover up megabuck campaign contributions from all the “stakeholders” in the homeless-industrial complex. The goal of course is to make homeless funding a permanent budget item. Buy a Coleman tent, a blue poly tarp and steal a shopping cart Max!

No worries. A Black Democrat from a red state. My guess is by the end of the first month in Congress he will have more money than any of us on this thread. Being a Democrat in Congress means never saying 'I'm poor'.

I have a Gen Zer, notably one with no debt, a good trade based income, and good savings. The home market even for him in this major market is crap... it needs a major adjustment. I understand why young folks say the housing market is globalist banking scam. Houses are way over priced because banks own most of the ones on the market and they set the price.
Our betters want to turn us into a renters nation. Had we a good government they would protect us from this predatory behavior. Sadly, our pols are all on the payroll of Blackrock and company.

does that decision make him stupid or smart? and really indicates the kind of legislative reasoning we'll see from him but he won't have to worry because all his votes are already decided by the demcommie leadership

Look for an apartment in Manasses, VA. Reasonably affordable on in income of $100K but you'd have to commute like a lot of folks.

Funny! And they told us that Hershel was not up to being in Congress! He had plenty of money and could have afforded his own Home, but he was a REPUBLICAN, so he was deemed not up for the Job! Go Figure!

Don't worry, pal, you will have ample opportunity to steal enough money to buy your own apartment building. Anybody who would elect a 25-year-old is not too bright, even if the guy didn't have all of the other disqualifications. Talk to AOC, she has had a couch-surfing boyfriend living on her dime for four years. Maybe she has room for two.
Have you tried the "racist" angle yet? That's usually a sure-fire way to make whitey back down and give you what you want. The guy looks like a real dope.

From his campaign website:
I’m running for Congress because I know we won’t change the system until we change our leadership. It’s time for poor, working-class, and young people to have a seat at the table. As the first generation-z member of Congress, from day one, I will fight to end gun violence, win Medicare For All, transform our racist criminal justice system, and end the climate crisis.
He has a messiah complex. He also knows that once elected, he has a position in which he can network himself to riches and wealth beyond his wildest dreams.
The kids you can't get to work are now running for office. And, they are coming. They have a constituency that has been created by public education (indoctrination) for the past thirty years. They are True Believers. And they will vote for these types. Mark my words, 2024 isn't the end game; it's just the beginning.
