The former Capitol Police chief forced to resign following Jan. 6 is set to release his side of the story in a new book warning nothing has been done to put the “agency into a better position” and that then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) fault has remained unaddressed.
The day after the Capitol was breached and the narrative of a failed insurrection was being circulated, then-Capitol Police chief Steven Sund was singled out by the speaker for the breakdown in security with a public call for his resignation. Tuesday, nearly two years later, Sund’s account is slated for release in the book titled “Courage Under Fire” in which he recounts how

There was no serious security failure. The only injuries were to trespassers, two unarmed women, attacking no one, murdered by police. One by a bullet, one beaten to death. Neither doing anything that was even remotely worthy of the vicious treatment they got.
This guy should be in prison along with Leroy Byrd, the known murderer. I'm not sure of the name of the thug who beat the other woman to death. He deserves the same.

Does his book acknowledge that there was no insurrection? If not, it's not a tell all; it's just a slant on what really happened. What was the courage under fire?

Nothing happens involving the USCP without the express approval of the two Sergeants-at-Arms and both the Senate Majority Leader and Speaker. Nothing.

If we had a decent legal system, Pelosi's career would end with a whimper instead of the bang she so desperately wants. Now that the J6 committee is no more, can Trump now sue her in court for defamation? That would be entertaining to watch her scramble to prove she wasn't, even though the evidence now exists that this is on her.

Stop it. The Capitol wasn’t “breached.” It is not a Castle, and royalty doesn’t live there. It is the peoples’ place of legislative business, and the people were invited in.

What a giant joke. THIS guy pens a book referring to himself has having anything resembling “courage under fire?” Just when we think the arrogance, greed and utter lack of integrity cannot be more apparent, here comes more of the same from the swamp pit.
Absolutely, #2. The U.S. Capitol Police force is a despicable group that did the bidding of the enemies of our nation on January 6.

#1, the woman who beat Rosanne Boyland to death was MPD Officer Lila Morris. She beat her with a steel baton and a large wooden stick while Boyland lay unconscious, prompting Texas resident Gary McBride to file a police brutality complaint with the D.C. police department in connection with the incident.
McBride said he was told by the director of the Risk Management Division of the MPD Internal Affairs Bureau that “use of force within this investigation was determined to be objectively reasonable.”
Following the events of Jan. 6, Morris was hailed as a hero and traveled to the Super Bowl in Tampa as a guest of honor.

I look forward to reading Steven Sund's book. He was a seasoned law enforcement officer who asked on January 4 to have the National Guard on standby, but his request was denied by both the House and Senate Sergeants at Arms. He was told "the intelligence didn't support it" and one of the SaAs "didn't like the optics."
Those who like to do their own thinking have had two years to figure out that a REAL insurrection would have left plenty of clues our intelligence agencies would have picked up on. How is it possible for an "insurrection" with so many players involved to be completely overlooked? Sund's testimony is below, for anyone interested reading in a carefully documented timeline rather than a politically motivated narrative. Yes, it takes time to read. Learning something takes effort.

I pray that the families of these two victims will hire an attorney and sue Nancy into poverty. I also want to see those two police officers jailed for the MURDER of those two women.

One would have to be a dirtbag Uber Criminal to be hired by the Capitol Police as Chief. How do I know? Would any sane quality human being hire a goon/Hit-Man, like Michael Leroy Byrd? Methinks not!

Nanie, it seems that you may soon pay for your little J6 scam. Just a matter of time before the families of the two women who were killed on J6 sue your undies off and your little problem with Paul and hammer-gate will become a distant memory.

I also want to know why the Capital Police dropped the murder of Seth Rich. Does he address that?

Influence? She was da head beech in charge. It's a small step in disrespect from tearing up Donald Trump's SOTU speech on live camera to setting him up for two years of fake insurrection charges and two impeachments.

#15, Seth Rich was murdered in Georgetown which is the jurisdiction of the DC Metropolitan Police, not the Capitol Police. I don’t have any proof but I would bet that any investigation into Rich’s murder was shut down by DC Mayor Bowser, who is an ultra-leftist, under an order which came down from one Hillary Clinton.

George Floyd, criminal spawn of Minneapolis, dies at the hands of police for resisting arrest while drug-impaired after a robbery and becomes a martyr and a saint. Rosanne Boyland and Ashli Babbitt were engaged in a peaceful protest of a stolen election and were slandered after being murdered.
The differences? Skin color and support of Donald Trump. That's what our system of justice has become.

"Archbishop Vigano Calls On Faithful To Fast For Three Days for January 6 Political Prisoners on
January 3, 4 and 5" (Article in Gateway Pundit, January 1, 2023)
January 6 is the Feast of the Magi, the Feast of the Epiphany. When we "have an epiphany", we perceive the essential nature of something. Anyone who loves truth knows that the so-called J6 insurrection continues to punish the innocent. Slowly but surely, though, we are discovering the truth of what happened that day.
Fast and pray today and next two days for the innocent J6 political prisoners! Bread and water if you can, but make some sacrifice for these men and women who are in prison under horrible conditions for no reason.
(The author of this book is more concerned about trying to validate the actions or inactions of the Capitol
Police on January 6. He has no concern for the innocent.)

All the crimes committed were at the hand of nervous nancy...she refused President Trump's request for the national guard the day before jan6...and the blood of these victims is on her hands...it was a political stunt by democrats and now WE get to hear the real story....she's no better than Harry Reid of the senate when confronted by all the lies he told ...he said..."Well we won didn't we"...so the game is to lie and cheat and walk away smiling that they had won...Kari Lake of Arizona doesn't have a chance against this corrupt system...call a Constitutional Convention and let the people take power out of Washington...
