“Entrenched systemic racism” is a significant risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in non-white Americans, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) claimed in its 2022 update on how to fight the disease. The HHS’ “National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease” said black, Hispanic and low-income populations are more likely to face health-related risk factors that contribute to Alzheimer’s and said this disparity is due to “structural inequities” that are the result of racism.

WASHINGTON D.C. – Fox News spoke to Americans who say they were forced to save cash and buy fewer holiday gifts this year as congressional leaders push a $1.7 trillion spending package, which critics warn could fuel ongoing inflation. "I have saved to be able to do Christmas with the kids," Irene, from Arizona, told Fox News. "Things are a lot more expensive." HOW HAS INFLATION IMPACTED AMERICANS' CHRISTMAS BUDGETS?

When I saw that Tim Robbins, one of Hollywood’s loudest and proudest progressives for the last several decades, had admitted that the government’s response to COVID had nothing to do with public health and everything to do with Orwellian political goals, I thought, “Wow! He’s another leftist like Russell Brand who actually believes in freedom and naively thought leftism was the pathway to liberty. Now, he’s getting red-pilled.” I nailed that one because Robbins explained his evolving viewpoint on...Russell Brand’s YouTube show.

Lake Superior State University has a year-end tradition of issuing its banished words and phrases list. It usually misses some obvious candidates, like “democracy is on the ballot,” and its perverse variations. That sentiment encapsulates George Orwell’s description of ugly and inaccurate political language to exert mind control. Even more linguistic gobbledygook is emanating from Stanford University. They spent 18 months to conjure a list of harmful words to ban from their websites and computer code.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” House Minority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) stated that the appropriations process needs to change so that government funding bills are passed by the House before summer and the Senate can’t “wait until Christmas Eve, throw something together in this big omnibus bill where they have everything under the sun that nobody can read.” Scalise said, “One of the things we’ve talked about is actually changing the way the entire appropriations process works. And as majority leader, I’ve already laid out a schedule, working with Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX), who’s going to be Chair of the Appropriations Committee,

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelesnky’s speech to a joint meeting of Congress received rave reviews on social media, with several users remarking on the wartime leader’s masterful command of the English language.  “I’ll give him this: He speaks better English than our President. And Our Vice President. And our Speaker of the House,” podcast host Gerry Callahan wrote on Twitter, mocking President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “And [Zelensky] dresses better than the slob Pennsylvanians just sent to the Senate,” Callahan added, taking a cheap shot at Sen.-elect John Fetterman (D-Pa.),

The lobbying arm of Silicon Valley’s tech investors, represented by billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s FWD.us, admits it is “extremely unlikely” that an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens can pass the lame-duck Congress. For weeks, Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) have floated a plan that would give amnesty to at least two million illegal aliens enrolled and eligible for former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program while also opening the labor market to more foreign competition. The plan sought to trade illegal and legal immigration expansion provisions for big pay raises for the nation’s Border Patrol agents

Some Republican lawmakers remained skeptical of supporting the war in Ukraine despite an in-person joint congressional address by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky’s trip took place as Congress deliberates an omnibus spending bill that would appropriate $45 billion more for Ukraine assistance, on top of $66 billion appropriated this year. During his address, Zelensky thanked Congress for its continuing support for Ukraine, while members of Congress gave him repeated standing ovations. At the end of his address, Zelensky unveiled a Ukrainian flag signed by Ukrainian troops in Bahkmut,

Sen. Rand Paul has written his own retelling of the classic poem “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” called ‘”Twas the Week Before Christmas” about the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill, and performs it in a video, which is currently going viral on social media. The senator from Kentucky is seen donning a red blazer before a backdrop of a Christmas tree and a fireplace. “‘Twas a week before Christmas and all through the Senate and House, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse,” he begins. “The earmarks were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.
