The suspect in the overnight mass shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs has been identified as Anderson Lee Aldrich. He was injured and is in custody after a total of five people were shot and killed and at least 17 people were hurt. He is 22 and police haven't released his photo. They also didn't share any motive for the shooting. "The motive of the crime is part of the investigation and whether this was a hate crime is part of that investigation," Colorado Springs Police Department Deputy Chief Adrian Vasquez said. At least two firearms were recovered at the scene, Vasquez said. The suspect used a rifle

From the name the suspect is almost certainly neither Muslim nor black so the question of motive remains a mystery for the moment. Unrequited love, or did someone make a pass at him at one point? Very curious.

He's a white boy with blond hair and a whispy beard and he posed on fakebook or somewhere holding his little black rifle. Probably a jealous lover.

On October 14, 2020, in the heat of the 2020 presidential contest, the New York Post published a blockbuster. They had in their possession a laptop computer that Joe Biden’s dissolute and degenerate git, Hunter, had abandoned in a Delaware computer repair store. The contents were damning. They showed conclusively that Joe Biden was not merely an arm’s length recipient of payoffs from the opportunities for graft and corruption business opportunities he’d placed in Hunter’s path. Joe Biden was an active part of the Biden Crime Family. Almost immediately, the leftist media and tech corporations locked dainty little arms and refused to admit that anything even existed.

Anderson Lee Aldrich, the gunman who allegedly killed five patrons in a Colorado gay bar Saturday night, was arrested for making a bomb threat in 2021. According to an El Paso County press release from June of last year, law enforcement responded to a bomb threat involving Aldrich and his mother. “The reporting party said her son [Aldrich] was threatening to cause harm to her with a homemade bomb, multiple weapons, and ammunition,” the police statement reads. The threat lead local police to evacuate ten nearby homes and send out “an emergency text notification” to houses within a quarter-mile radius warning them of the unfolding situation. Saudi Arabia on Monday said that OPEC+ was sticking with oil output cuts and could take further measures to balance the market amid falling prices, denying a report it was considering boosting output, according to state news agency SPA. The Wall Street Journal earlier on Monday reported an output increase of 500,000 barrels per day was under discussion for the next meeting of OPEC and its allies, known as OPEC+, on Dec. 4. The report cited unidentified OPEC delegates. "It is well-known that OPEC+ does not discuss any decisions ahead of the meeting,"

If you ever wondered who the softest people on the planet are, we’ve definitively gotten an answer over the last few months. And all it took was an eccentric, trolling billionaire buying Twitter. Ever since that acquisition took place, journalists have been migrating to a platform named “Mastodon” because Twitter is apparently a bastion for “hate” now. How exactly Mastodon works, I’m too lazy to research, but the gist of it is that people start “servers” that operate a bit like old-school listservs. Sure enough, it didn’t take long for the social media site (or whatever it is) to turn into a hilarious mean girls club.

According to a recent report, Twitter owner Elon Musk is considering laying off even more of Twitter’s workforce, this time focusing on the company’s sales and partnerships division. Bloomberg reports that employees in the sales and partnership division of Twitter may be terminated as soon as early this week, according to people familiar with the matter. A number of Twitter employees resigned from the company last week after Musk gave them an ultimatum — work long hours on a “hardcore” version of Twitter or leave with three months of severance pay. However, according to sources, more employees in technical roles than expected opted to leave, compared to those in
DeSantis’s indirect attack on Trump:

Make no mistake: it is on between DeSantis and Trump in the contest for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Watching Governor Ron DeSantis’s speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition (video embedded below) over the weekend, I have no doubt that he is planning a run for president. Nothing he said could be called an attack on Donald Trump, but the implication of what he said is clear. First and foremost, the words he borrowed from Winston Churchill, “There is no substitute for victory,” can be seen as a response to what many perceive

An earthquake on the main Indonesian island of Java has killed at least 62 people and injured hundreds, the national disaster agency says. The 5.6 magnitude quake struck Cianjur town in West Java, at a shallow depth of 10km (six miles), according to US Geological Survey data. Scores of people were taken to hospital, with many treated outside. Rescuers were working into the night to try to save others thought to still be trapped under collapsed buildings. The area where the quake struck is densely populated and prone to landslides, with poorly built houses reduced to rubble in many areas. Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) said at least 62 people had died,

In case you missed the latest one, it involved a letter sent to Chief Justice John Roberts from Reverend Rob Schenck, an evangelical activist who claimed that he knew about the outcome of the 2014 case of Burwell v. Hobby Lobby. He claimed to have been told about the pending decision by a family friend of Justice Samuel Alito and his wife. The letter appears to be authentic, but the contents of it may not hold up under closer scrutiny. (CNN) A former evangelical activist claimed

One of the biggest oddities of the last election wasn’t that the polling was way off, leading to a surprise Republican victory. Instead, it was that the polling was largely correct, leading to a surprise Republican disappointment. Contrary to the impression most have of how the last mid-terms went, something of a red wave did appear. It just happened to be the most inefficient, badly spaced-out red wave in modern history, with Republicans winning the national popular vote for a few percentage points, just as the generic ballot polling average predicted. The failure in expectations (and to be sure, overall, the election was a disaster for Republicans) came elsewhere.

Las Vegas, Nevada — Several possible presidential hopefuls took shots at former President Donald Trump on Friday evening and Saturday morning at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership convention. Foremost among these was former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who likened Trump supporters to the John Birch Society and blamed Republican losses for high inflation and crime as he urged the party to dump Trump. Counting off the losses of Trump-backed candidates in several key midterm races, while omitting victories such as that of Sen.-elect J.D. Vance (R-OH), Christie said the GOP had to free itself from one-man rule to win again. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was more subtle,

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) telling people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation, government lawyers argued during a recent hearing. “The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin,” Isaac Belfer, one of the lawyers, told the court during the Nov. 1 hearing in federal court

Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright — with the Elections Integrity Unit — wrote a letter to the Maricopa County officials Saturday demanding an accounting for the widespread ballot tabulation and ballot printer problems seen during the general election on Nov. 8. Among the most troubling issues raised in the letter directed to Thomas Liddy with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office was the apparent co-mingling of ballots in black duffle bags in at least one polling location, which were successfully run through the on-site tabulators with those put in “Door 3” to be sent to the Election Department’s downtown Phoenix tabulation center because they could not be read.

Kumar appeared as a guest host on MSNBC’s "Velshi," where a panel discussed former President Trump’s effect on the Republican Party. The discussion soon focused on DeSantis as a kind of successor to "Trumpism" for his rise in popularity However, Kumar claimed that his success, even in the state of Florida, is due not to DeSantis’ record as governor, but because he "gerrymandered" the state.
