Saudi denies oil output hike discussion,

Saudi Arabia on Monday said that OPEC+ was sticking with oil output cuts and could take further measures to balance the market amid falling prices, denying a report it was considering boosting output, according to state news agency SPA. The Wall Street Journal earlier on Monday reported an output increase of 500,000 barrels per day was under discussion for the next meeting of OPEC and its allies, known as OPEC+, on Dec. 4. The report cited unidentified OPEC delegates. "It is well-known that OPEC+ does not discuss any decisions ahead of the meeting,"

Saudi is decreasing output to match the increase Biden is pumping from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. It's the Saudi way of expressing their opinion of Biden.

A lot of money moved this morning on the WSJ "report" and on the Saudi clarification later. I think it would be proper to take a look into any relationships between people at the Journal and some of the big money plays from their article to the KSA response. Very suspicious.

Justice Department prosecutors have reached out to representatives of former Vice President Mike Pence to seek his testimony in the criminal investigation into efforts by former President Donald Trump and allies to impede the transfer of power after the 2020 election, according to people familiar with the matter. Pence's team has indicated that the former vice president is open to discussing a possible agreement with the Justice Department to provide some testimony, one person said. The New York Times first reported the outreach to Pence. The request occurred before the Justice Department appointed a special counsel to oversee two Trump-related investigations, including the January 6, 2021-related probe and another into alleged

JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books and self-described radical feminist, has been the object of harassment and attack for her defense of female-only spaces in society. She has been attacked, shunned by HBO and the cast of her movies, and the object of a near-constant cancellation campaign. Her crime? Supporting gay and transgender rights while insisting that trans-women are not actual females and don’t belong in female-only spaces. Rowling is the original TERF, or “trans-exclusionary radical feminist.” Until recently she was not particularly beloved by conservatives. She is actually very liberal in her views, including her views on social issues.

Chesapeake, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake police say the suspect behind a mass shooting at a Walmart just off Battlefield Blvd. is dead. It’s still unclear just how many people were killed or injured in the shooting, but police say there are multiple of both. A police spokesperson told WAVY’s Michelle Wolf that no more than 10 people have died. Police are still going through the building and people are asked to steer clear. The call reporting the shooting came in at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday. The Walmart supercenter was open to the public at the time.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy, who is expected to be the next House speaker, gave Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas an ultimatum: resign or face an impeachment inquiry. “Our country may never recover from Secretary Mayorkas’ dereliction of duty. This is why today I am calling on the secretary to resign,” McCarthy said. “If Secretary Mayorkas does not resign, House Republicans will investigate every order, every action and every failure. And we will determine whether we can begin an impeachment inquiry.” The stark warning is a significant change in tone from McCarthy

Late on Tuesday night, court filings by the attorneys for the alleged shooter from the LGBTQ night club in Colorado Springs, Colorado revealed the shooter is non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns. After spending the past two days smearing conservative Christians for allegedly inspiring this apparent attack against gay people, CNN Tonight anchor Alisyn Camerota was clearly stunned as she watched her network’s narrative come crashing down. Breaking the news to her audience, Camerota begrudgingly reported that the “attorneys for the accused shooter, Anderson Lee Aldrich, say in new court filings tonight that the suspect now identifies as non-binary.”

A fun leftover from yesterday, in which the Paper of Record tries to answer the age-old question: Are the tweets bluer on the other side of the fence? Excuse me, the toots? The New York Times took a closer look at the new Mastodon instant-messaging platform to which reporters of all stripes — but mainly progressives — have recently decamped. The selling point for the service is its decentralization as well as its collaborative moderation, at least theoretically. In practice, however, it looks more like a confused mess where “journalists” eat their own rather than practice tolerance, including at the Journa.host node funded in large part by the J-school at CUNY:

It appears the left has been peddling yet another false narrative. The New York Times reported on Tuesday night that the alleged gunman who carried out a mass shooting at an LGBTQ club in Colorado identifies as “non-binary.” According to a court filing, the suspect’s public defenders note that Anderson Aldrich, the suspected shooter, uses “they/them” pronouns. New York Times reporter Nicholas Bogel-Burroughs posted a tweet that the defense attorneys refer to the defendant as “Mx. Anderson Aldrich.” Aldrich is currently being held on suspicion of murder and hate crimes, in connection to the shooting at Club Q, which occurred on Saturday night. He was injured after patrons

More than 65% of investors in Digital World Acquisition Corp. — the blank-check company that has agreed to acquire Truth Social — voted Tuesday to give the merger until September 2023 to close. The fledgling social network will be forced to raise additional cash to keep operating in the meantime, during which the so-called special-purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, will seek approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission for the deal, sources told The Post.

While Biden was busy draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to tamp down gas prices before the midterm elections, the real worry was that supplies of diesel fuel have been running short. Two years after the short-lived COVID lockdowns ended, diesel inventories continued to trend downward

And surprise: The alleged perpetrators are not MAGA white nationalists. Rather, evidence so far points to migrants, possibly of the illegal kind. The Biden administration will allow employers to invest pension money in green industries that could provide lower returns for Americans. The move which was announced on Tuesday reverses a rule imposed by Trump in 2020 that forced employers to prioritize profit when making 401(k) investments.  The new rule introduced by US Department of Labor will allow retirement plan investors to focus on ESG investing - which considers the environmental and social impacts of investments. The change comes as the average 401(k) in the US is down around 25 percent
