HAVANA — Two former beauty queens, Fabiola Valentín of Puerto Rico and Mariana Valera of Argentina, announced this week that they had secretly married. The joint Instagram post spurred celebration in LGBTQ communities across Latin America, a region that has historically lagged on gay rights but has made small steps in recent years. “After deciding to keep our relationship private, we’re opening the doors on this special day, 28/10/22,” Valentín and Valera said in their announcement posted Sunday. The post includes a video montage of their relationship, including the two on vacations, at bars and on the beach at sunset.

I am a little ashamed to admit this (well, not really) but heterosexual males are turned on by visualizing these gals going at it. It’s why most porno films have some girl on girl action. No big deal to me but it really turns off straight females like my wife.

Aw, they think they're married. The headline sounded almost like it was a 'trans' thing -- either one of them was born a male and thought he was female, or one of them decided after winning that she thought she was really a man and went that route. None of those three tragic scenarios would be real; but the one in this story is probably the one I find the least creepy. May the Lord have mercy on them, on us, and on the whole world...

President Joe Biden expressed optimism Friday about Democrat chances in the midterm elections, despite polls showing support shifting toward Republicans. “I feel really good about our chances,” he told reporters, speaking briefly about the upcoming elections before boarding Air Force One. Biden expressed confidence about the midterms after leaving a campaign event in California Friday evening for a trip to Chicago for another event. The president predicted Democrats would pick up a seat in the Senate and keep the majority in the House.

Party bigwigs appear to be in panic mode, critics note, flooding the 2-to-1 Democratic enrollment Empire State with big names like Bill, Hillary, Joe and Kamala in the final stretch to Tuesday’s election as Gov. Kathy Hochul has rapidly lost ground to Republican challenger Rep. Lee Zeldin. “New York Democrats are smashing the glass and pulling the fire alarm,” state Republican Party Chair Nick Langworthy said Friday.

The House Judiciary Committee slammed the FBI for 'turning a blind eye' and giving Hunter Biden 'preferential treatment' in a 1,050 page report released Friday. Senior Republicans claimed the Bureau 'downplayed' the scandal of Hunter's foreign business deals and potential illegal activity in the weeks before the 2020 presidential election and 'even colluded with social media platform Facebook to suppress information.' The report pointed to an interview in August this year of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg on the Joe Rogan Experience, in which Zuckerberg admitted his company censored stories about Joe Biden's involvement in Hunter's business dealings after the FBI warned them to be on 'on high alert' for 'Russian propaganda'.

A secret Sept. 1 meeting may have put Hakeem Jeffries on the map to replace California representative Nancy Pelosi’s role as top House Democrat, Politico reports. House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn of South Carolina and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York, who chairs the House Democratic Caucus, met up at Clyburn’s office during the summer congressional recess, according to the outlet. Jeffries became aware of a “quiet campaign” from California Rep. Adam Schiff for the speakership, inspiring the New York congressman to fly out to California and speak with Clyburn. At the meeting, Clyburn reportedly expressed his full support for Jeffries’ bid.

The establishment media have ignored the physical attack against Republican New Hampshire candidate Gen. Don Bolduc. The three top establishment newspapers, the New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times, all failed to report the physical attack on Gen. Bolduc that occurred moments before Wednesday’s debate with Democrat Maggie Hassan (D-NH). The media’s decision to not report on the act of political violence against a Republican is notable. Attacks against Republicans run counter to the media’s narrative of violence singly perpetrated by Republicans.
