Rep. James Clyburn says US could ‘repeat

The third-ranking House Democrat played the Nazi card ahead of expected Republican wins in next week’s midterm elections, claiming the US is “on track to repeat what happened in Germany.” House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) raised eyebrows by describing Weimar Germany as “the greatest democracy going when it elected a chancellor that then co-opted the media” in an interview with Fox News Digital. “This past president called the press the enemy of the people,” he continued, referring to former President Donald Trump. “That is a bunch of crap. And that is what’s going on in this country.” Social media users were quick to call out Clyburn’s comments, with many mocking

Comments:

Another fossilized Democrat who should have retired long ago. If Biden doesn't win, we'll have WW II again - like the 'Greatest Democracy' voted for in the 30s. I'd bet he was even brighter when he was half his age!

What caused the election of Hitler in '33 was economic chaos caused by Germany's inability to maintain any value in its currency, resulting in legenday inflation. The "mainstream" political parties failed badly to staunch the collapse of the Reichsmark. The gold demanded for payment under the treaty terms was long gone. Desperation causes people to do all sorts of desperate things. I'm sure many thought with the election of Hitler, "What do we have to lose?"

The comments by Clyburn that the USA will follow the course of Nazi Germany of the 1930’s if the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats are unsuccessful in winning the midterm election next Tuesday and continuing total Democrat Party control in DC is ridiculous. Clyburn was obviously talking to the mass of low information to stupid prospective Democrat supporters and likely voters. That ridiculous comment by Clyburn just shows how scared the Democrats are that they are going to be wiped out in the midterm election.

Hitler was never elected Chancellor. He was installed in the office by President Hindenburg when no party leader could put together a coalition in the Reichstag. The Nazis never got more than a little over a third of the vote in national elections. People need to get their facts straight before saying anything.

The White House on Wednesday deleted a Twitter post after it was fact-checked for making an inaccurate claim about the Social Security cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) that was recently announced. “Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership,” the now-deleted White House Twitter post said. However, the post failed to mention that the COLA adjustment was due to surging, decades-high inflation. COLA adjustments have been automatically done every year for decades due to federal law, and the adjustments are not contingent on any of the Biden administration’s policies. “The point was incomplete,” a White House official told The Epoch Times via email.
