Pollster and senior counsel to former President Trump, Kellyanne Conway, appeared at an event for the Christian Science Monitor and made the bold prediction that her former boss will announce that he is running for the presidency in 2024 “soon.” (Video) Trump has indicated previously that he wanted the midterm elections to play out before he made an announcement. He didn’t want to detract from conservative candidates seeking to take part in a political realignment in the United States during the red wave expected to sweep the elections this month.
“I think you can expect him to announce soon,” Conway said

Kellyanne and her brand-new face are all over Fox and Fox Business these days. I am tired of her chatter.

Why is this a bold prediction? Trump has already announced that he would be announcing soon, and his supporters would be pleased with his decision. He said it last night at his Iowa rally, and has done so before that.

If he's smart, he waits until some time in late January or February.
Need to make sure the new GOP-lead committees are actively working on the review of a few things that have transpired over the past 6 years, and get the information out in the open so it's plain to see.
He won't need name recognition and he's already built a following, so that won't be an issue.

Kellyanne was simply responding to an interview question. I'll admit I am a longtime fan of Kellyanne's work prior to Trump's election campaign. She is one smart lady, and I am forever grateful for her continued support!

What a mistake that would be. Playing right into the hands of the desperate Dems who would like nothing better than to make the midterms about Trump, rather than their own disastrous candidates.
And on another note, we're all basically on the same side here, aren't we? So can someone please explain why it's a good idea to shoot our own allies?

Putting aside the legal issues with which he currently contends, FPDT announcing now will serve mainly to thin the herd of challengers to a small number, probably Pence and DeSantis. This time around he won't have JEB! and "little hands" Rubio to deal with. It'll be down to serious business quickly come Primary Season '24. King Lear's raging act won't cut it this time around - and it won't just be the NeverTrumpers walking away.

I will speak out. I am a strong supporter of Donald Trump and as everyone knows, I wasn't a fan in the beginning. I was going to support Ben Carson or Scott Walker. With that said, I appreciate everything Donald Trump has done. I am quite concerned that Kellyanne Conway continues to be in the role she is. Her husband is part of the Lincoln Project and I think Donald Trump could do something differently.
Yes, I understand the comments about poster #1 because there were comments made that frustrated me greatly. Sidelining all of that, I am concerned about choices Donald Trump has made. Posters can criticize me all they want but I speak of my concerns.

Everyone makes bad decisions. People like President Trump learn from them and move on.
You don’t get to be a multi billionaire in the business world by repeating the same mistakes. Although it seems that you certainly can in the political world - hence the Clintons and 0bama’s.

My biggest fear was that Trump would announce for a run for the Presidency prior to next Tuesday, and thus turn off the Independents, Democrats and Republicans who might make up the Red Wave. My 2nd biggest fear was that he would announce he was running before the actual election, but say it would be official AFTER the election. And good ole KelleyAnn, who I USED to admire, paved the way. THIS WILL LOSE US VOTES!!!!!!!!!

Yawn.
Is Conway Trump's spokesperson? If not, she knows nothing.
Time will tell.
The 2024 election starts on 11/9, btw. Isn't that fun?!?

Does anybody here know anyone who will or will not vote . . . or who will change his/her vote . . . if Donald Trump does or does not announce for '24 . . . or when he does or does not announce it?
So why worry about it?

Trump has been grabbing headlines by teasing his announcement to run for months. It has done nothing for Republicans running for mid-term elections, but that's OK. We should do fine on Tuesday.
Since the subject is on the table, I think the most important thing about 2024 is WINNING. The country will be ruined if the Dems are still in the WH in 2025. That's why I hope Trump doesn't run. He does not give us the best chance of winning. I know the "nobody but Trump" people don't like hearing that but if you remove the emotions and look at the situation critically, it seems clear that Trump doesn't give us the best chance of WINNING. Here is why:
- Trump is fixated on 2020, and the media will bait him on the subject, and he will take the bait every time. He got screwed but people are hurting and want to hear about what can be done to help them with inflation, etc. Trump's ego won't allow him to stay on message.
- Trump still doesn't poll very good with women and independents - much worse than other Republicans. We need our share of these voting blocks to win. Our base is simply not enough.
- The Dems are going to keep him tied up in court, possibly even criminal court. It's not fair, but Trump's comments at times doesn't help - more drama. This will help the Dems if Trump is the nominee.
- Conservatives will be strongly behind Trump if he gets the nomination, but I can tell you that a lot of the general public are simply tired of the Trump drama.
- Polls strongly indicate most voters don't want the same old men in 2024. They will get their way on the Dem side (there's no way Biden will run - hell, he will be lucky to make it to the end of his current term). If it turns out to be Trump versus a relatively new and younger Dem, that's not good for Republicans.
- Adding it all up, I can't see how Trump gives us the best chance of WINNING.
There are a few really good conservatives out there that would have a much better chance of winning than Trump.

DJT is the Master of Timing.
Plus, he has so many of us Prayer Warriors for so many years and all over the World, like his great Aunt’s friends years ago off Hebrides Island, near Scotland.
And don’t worry #25 and others here.
Sad to say, Pence is not an option, nor is DeSantis, both untrustworthy RINO/GOPe.
DJT will do what is best for America in ‘24, he will not listen to the Barr team and he will get rid of all the GOP Turncoats on the many Congressional Staffs, GAO staff, Military, DOD and State, and local and national decision-makers.
Trusting God, He is Still Sovereign.

I love Trump for what he did but sure hope he does not ruin everything for 2024 by getting in the way. He himself would be great, but he is a pi$$ poor judge of loyalty in others and AFAIK every one of his choices for positions back stabbed him except maybe for the Amway woman at Dept. of Ed.. I think it is too soon for DeSantis or Lake so honestly I do not yet have any idea who would fill the bill.
