The Gateway Pundit previously reported that once Elon Musk’s $44 billion transaction for the social network is completed, he will reportedly terminate approximately 75% of Twitter’s staff.
In October, Steve Bannon shared during his sit-down interview with OANN New York correspondent Caitlin Sinclair that he had been informed by reliable sources that Twitter had offered Elon Musk a price cut in exchange for his commitment to two conditions.

Fire them ALL! They will turn against you. They have no allegiance to you. Trump found that out. He thought he was hiring supporters and they all stabbed him in the back. If he (or whoever) gets in needs to fire them ALL-even secretaries and hire reular people who will fight for our independence. Swamp creatures will not-they just love their parties and connections.

Let's see how many of them will run to the press and lawyers once they get their emails. Leftists don't think rules, agreements and all that stuff is for them. Why does a twitter have 7500 employees anyway, other than to restrict the speech of some and create bots and stuff for others?

Hopefully there are protections against sabotage for the physical plants and the programming. Some of these people can be VERY nasty.
This is going to be interesting to follow. Musk is making it very clear that he OWNS Twitter.

I like this part: "To help ensure the safety of each employee as well as Twitter systems and customer data, our offices will be temporarily closed and all badge access will be suspended."

It is a business for Elon, to be ran like a profitable business, not a charity hang out location for non-productive woksters.

I worked in telecommunications for years. When the bottom fell out of the industry due to the internet bubble bursting, layoffs happened every three months. You held your breath and hoped you could last long enough to secure your pension. I know how they feel, but complaining does not pay the bills. Update your resume and move on. If you can contribute to a company, they will hire you.

I've always wondered why it takes 5,000 employees to run Twitter. I mean how many coders does it take to program the ability to post two lines of text? It's like hiring 5,000 mathematicians to help people add any two digits together.

They're suing, didn't give them enough notice of layoffs or firing.

#10: It is a very smart thing to do. You let go a couple thousand woke leftists from their cushy jobs and violence will ensue. Lock them out and have armed security. I sure hope Elon has the best protection he can buy.

I remember days like this in the corporate world. One time they had a big meeting and someone walked through the office setting boxes on employees' desks. We quickly figured out ''getting the box'' meant you would be cleaning out your desk when the meeting ended.

#18 Ya give 'em 2 weeks pay and send them home. Who knows what these children would do to the database, or anything related to the company.
