Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly hired her third chief speechwriter since she entered office last year.
Dave Cavell, who has previously served as speechwriter for White House climate envoy John Kerry and in the Obama White House, has been hired in the role, per Politico.
Harris's office has seen multiple shake-ups in the past year, with two head speechwriters leaving and several other aides departing.
The high level of turnover in the vice president's office, specifically in her communications team, has come as she has made several awkward gaffes, including saying the United States had an alliance with the "Republic of North Korea" and insisting hurricane aid be given based on "equity."
The Democratic Party continues to come across as tone-deaf and out-of-touch to Americans who are justifiably concerned about rampant crime, soaring inflation, and growing signs the country is heading into a deep recession.

Joe Biden is set to announce another release of more oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve ahead of the midterms in an effort to (artificially) bring gas prices down.
“The White House will release 10 million to 15 million barrels from the reserve as part of an existing plan, announced in March, to release 180 million barrels of crude oil into the market throughout the year, according to two industry people granted anonymity to discuss confidential discussions with the administration. According to a recent report in ClickOrlando, two robbers were shot and killed when they tried to rob a jewelry store in the Magin Mall in Orlando, Florida.
The attempted robbery, which happened at around 11:45 in the morning, was conducted by four attempted robbers, so the police are still searching for the remaining two.
Of the two suspects who were shot, one was killed at the scene of the attempted robbery and so police had to do no searching for him.
The other one who was shot got in the car with the two other surviving suspects and drove off but, according to ClickOrlando, he was found in the abandoned vehicle
FBI whistleblowers have revealed that the bureau has “voluminous evidence” of possible criminal conduct by President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, according to a top senator.
“Based on recent protected disclosures to my office, the FBI has within its possession significant, impactful and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden,” Sen. In a new poll released Monday, the ECU Center for Survey Research has Congressman Ted Budd leading former North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Cheri Beasley by six points, doubling his lead in this same poll a month ago. Utah Senate incumbent Republican Mike Lee took on independent challenger Evan McMullin on Monday night. Some in the local media were touting the event as McMullin’s last chance to make an impression on voters and were calling the debate for Lee two hours before the event. Lee was forecasted to have an information advantage, but there was some speculation that, since he tends to be loquacious, this would act in McMullin’s favor if he was able to utilize sound-bite answers that could have audience appeal.

A 48-year-old man was fatally shoved in front of an oncoming Queens subway train during Monday night’s rush hour after he accidentally bumped into another rider, cops and police sources said.
The senseless crime occurred after the pusher’s cell phone dropped onto the tracks when he was knocked into at the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue 74th Street station just before 4:45 p.m., according to cops and the sources.
The 50-year-old man who was bumped yelled at the other man to retrieve his phone from the tracks, sources said. The rider refused and the pair got into a scuffle.
Republican J.D. Vance, running for Ohio’s open United States Senate seat, slammed opponent Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) during the debate Monday night for “sucking up” to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the national Democrats, claiming he supports his party’s leaders 100 percent of the time.
During the debate, Vance said that Ryan had taken campaign donations from the national Democrats, alluding to the money being donated to him, because he toes the party line and votes with his leadership 100 percent of the time, even though Ryan claims to go against his party: You’ve taken tens of millions of dollars, Tim, from technology companies, for out-of-state money.
