The Brown County Taxpayers Association in Wisconsin filed an emergency request to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, asking to temporarily pause Biden's student-debt relief plan before Sunday, when the group expects the administration to start officially canceling borrowers' debt.
The conservative group, represented by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL), initially filed a lawsuit against the debt relief on October 4, arguing that it has an "improper racial motive" by seeking to help Black borrowers and advance racial equity.

New York City officials have set up a tent city solely for migrants arriving on buses from Texas sent by Gov. Greg Abbott (R) that includes televisions, video games, laundry service, a popcorn maker, and more amenities.

Former President Obama is traveling to Nevada, which voted for President Biden by just over 2 percentage points in 2020, as Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., is locked in a tight re-election race with Republican U.S. Senate candidate Adam Laxalt.
Obama will be visiting the state on Nov. 1 in Las Vegas and will be joined by Cortez Masto, Democrat Gov. Steve Sisolak, as well as other statewide Democrat elected officials.

(Video) The Ohio paper published the cartoon last week that showed Democratic candidate Tim Ryan in the uniform of the Cleveland Guardians, formerly the Cleveland Indians, while Vance wore a San Francisco Giants uniform.

An electric vehicle (EV) owner who takes road trips between Cheyenne and Casper in Wyoming has revealed that his first trip of 178 miles took a staggering 15 hours to complete in his electric Nissan Leaf.
