Durham slams FBI for botching Trump-Russia
investigation in closing Danchenko arguments

Special counsel John Durham took aim at the FBI in the closing stages of his trial against Steele dossier source Igor Danchenko. Closing arguments in the trial concluded on Monday afternoon, and the jury is now deliberating. Addressing the “elephant in the room” at the trial, Durham made it clear that he believed the FBI had botched up its Trump-Russia investigation but that lies told to the bureau about British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s dossier still mattered.

"Botched up"? What are the odds on virtually nothing coming out of this?

How much did the taxpayers pay for this little bit of political theater? Was that money well spent or will this investigation end up like the rest holding no one accountable. Clearly the real criminals aren’t even on trial and I doubt they ever will be. It must be SOP in Washington DC for the country’s “premier law enforcement agency” to conspire to unseat a duly elected President. Who knew? The American people know better than to pin our hopes on this justice department. I just don’t know why we even bother. Democrats and their operatives in the deep state are free to do whatever is necessary to thwart the will of the people. I would be ashamed if after over two years, this was the best I could offer in a case involving a full frontal assault on the President of the United States perpetrated by a thoroughly corrupt FBI in conjunction with the DOJ. Color me disappointed but not surprised.

The American people pay millions for these hacks to "investigate" the crooks in Washington. We are not getting our money's worth. They are not doing the job we paid them to do. The crooks are still in power and operating the same scams on us. Mueller should be forced to pay us back with interest or go to jail for fraud.

This is another example of how elections matter. When GOP didn't win the House in 2018 or 2020, it enabled the Democrats to control the agenda and any actual oversight into this issue. If the GOP can win the House in 2022, it can examine what transpired since July 2016, and possibly expose people like Rep. bull Schiff, in particular.

The Department of Energy’s Inspector General is reviewing why the Joe Biden administration gave promising battery technology, developed by taxpayer dollars, to a Chinese company instead of making the batteries in the U.S. China is now reportedly building one of the largest battery grids in the world using the technology, which could store huge amounts of solar energy without degrading over time or requiring lithium, mitigating a major environmental impact of current green technology that ends up in landfills.

It’s no secret that government agencies give the Left more of a leash than the Right. Headline-grabbing stories over the past few years have exposed the overt political biases of agencies such as the FBI and the Justice Department. But underreported is a much larger story of the same ideological malfeasance in the nonprofit sector, a topic less sexy than corruption in the intelligence agencies, but arguably more important due to the growth of political activism via charities. In fact, what the IRS isn’t doing in the nonprofit (or “public charity”) sector will affect the midterm elections far more than any FBI raid ever could.
