Former President Donald Trump ripped Colorado Republican Senate candidate Joe O’Dea on Monday as ballots began rolling out to every voter in the state. “There’s this RINO character in the Great State of Colorado, Joe O’Dea, that is running against the incumbent Democrat for the United States Senate, who is having a good old time saying he wants to ‘distance’ himself from President Trump, and other slightly nasty things,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “MAGA doesn’t Vote for stupid people with big mouths. Good luck Joe!” The morning statement wasn’t helpful to Republicans hoping for an upset in Colorado’s dark-horse Senate race where a win over Democratic incumbent Michael Bennet

We needed a Republican Senatgor in Colorado. Was there no one stronger than O’Dea?

If O'Dea does get elected, make sure to put his office at the far end of the hall, next to the restroom, and do not give him any committee assignments.

Agree with #2, and the rest may live in a deeper color of red state, but Colorado won't be electing a conservative Republican, but they can elect a person like Joe O'Dea who is a business person not a lifelong politician. He should be entitled to his opinion, and it does not have to match what President Trump may think or believe. He would help the GOP have a Senate Majority if elected, and that's the main objective. The liberal Senate would approve liberal/extreme Federal judges, and possible SCOTUS nominees.

No nose holding, no RINOs, no fake conservatives, no more Democrats pretending to be Republicans. Do not vote for people who hate you. It's that simple. It does not matter one bit if this clown or the official Dem wins the seat. Either way it is a Dem win. Stop voting for Democrats who put an R next to their name. My DH has said he's tired of voting for RINOs and won't vote for O'Dea. I'm not there quite yet, but I think it is a moot point. California leftists have moved into Colorado in droves and because of that, I don't think O'Dea has a chance despite McConnell calling him the "ideal candidate." McConnell has his head in his nether regions if he thinks Democrat-lite can defeat someone with a "D" after their name. And for the record, I'm not convinced that DeSantis isn't the Jeb! of 2024.

#2, #4, #6, and #12 are correct, of course. First, we must take Schumer’s and Pelosi’s majorities away. Then we can sideline the RINOs. Our primaries will always result in a few less-than-optimal choices out there somewhere, but until we have solid veto-proof supermajorities in both chambers, we still have to vote for every Republican, up and down the ballot. To do otherwise is effectively a vote for the Democrat. And principles or no, voting for Democrats is voting against the USA. O’Dea is preferable to Bennet. You know it, I know it, and President Trump knows it. And unfortunately, like it or not, his ill-advised internet proclamations like this latest on Truth Social are a large factor in the Democrats’ ability in 2020 to capitalize on their strategic margin of overwhelming fraud that outnumbered the Republicans’ margin of sitting it out. Don’t be part of the sequel in 2022 or ever; go vote for O’Dea even if you have to hold your nose.

After suffering a severe stroke in May, Pennsylvania senatorial candidate John Fetterman now relies on speech-to-text software to understand the spoken word. The digital interface has become a part of him. In a recent NBC interview, Fetterman can be seen gazing at his desktop screen, struggling to comprehend the questions asked. The Democratic nominee will even be allowed to use this software in the Oct. 25 debate with his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz. In a healthy society, Fetterman’s own party would urge him to resign for the common good. This situation is beyond the polarized arguments over immigration, crime, or nuclear war. Cognitive fitness is crucial for political leaders.

Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) is demanding answers from the Department of Justice (DOJ) after the agency refused to release all documents regarding how it intended to implement a 2021 executive order on expanding voter access. Republicans have opposed this order as an unlawful exercise of federal power over elections. In March last year, President Joe Biden signed an executive order (EO 14019) directing the head of every federal agency, including the DOJ, to come up with a strategic plan on how to “promote voter registration and voter participation.” (snip) mandates these agencies work with “approved” third-party organizations to provide voter registration services on federal agency premises.
